For those who have never visited this world-class facility dedicated to upholding the authority of Scripture from the very first verse, you can now enjoy the next-best-thing to a visit and see why millions of people consider the Creation Museum a must-see destination. Discover the true history of our world, beginning with Genesis, and learn how sin has destroyed God’s perfect creation.
Walk through the 7C’s of history, beginning with the first Adam and culminating with the Last Adam, Jesus Christ. While skeptics often treat the Bible as a book of primeval myths, Scripture explains our universe’s real history. The Creation Museum shows guests how the scientific evidence from various disciplines is consistent with the Genesis teaching about Creation and the Flood while the secular view of billions of years and evolution are frequently contradicted by observational science. The Creation Museum stands as a testimony to the accuracy and authority of God’s Word. Prepare to believe as you embark on this journey through the Creation Museum.

Do these legends, drawings, and artifacts represent mere myths, or could some of them be based on real, historical creatures? Many of the beasts featured in these legends seem to strongly resemble dinosaurs and other extinct creatures. Might this be a clue that some dragon legends are actually ancient stories from people who saw and, at times, fought against the creatures we now call dinosaurs?

How can we make sense of a world so beautiful yet so broken? A spectacular short film filled with striking imagery briefly addresses the explanations provided by both worldviews. This film reinforces the point that biblical creationists and naturalistic evolutionists share the same evidence but reach starkly different conclusions on issues related to the past, present, and future. This reveals that the creation vs. evolution dispute is not a matter of faith vs. science, as many have been led to believe. Rather, it is a battle of two worldviews.

he exhibit concludes with a powerful animated video based on one of the artist’s journal entries. Here he explains his journey as he wrestled with trying to fit billions of years into
Scripture before realizing the futility of such efforts. Ultimately, every attempt to insert billions of years into the Bible necessarily places death, suffering, disease, and thorns long before Adam sinned, yet the Bible clearly teaches that these things are a result of Adam’s sin. 41
The 7 C's of History 42
T
he Creation Museum was built around a narrative framework
which we call the 7 C’s of history. Immersive multimedia exhibits structured around this framework guide guests through a chronological tour of the major world-shaping events of biblical history. We refer to these seven events as Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation.
43
Creation
I
n the Creation Walk, visitors are immersed in the first of the 7 C’s as they find themselves walking through
part of the Garden of Eden. Lush vegetation, a spectacular variety of animals, and tranquil scenes representing the peace and innocence in the world before sin help guests experience what it might have been like to live in the garden.
Adam Names the Animals The first scene guests encounter in the garden depicts Adam naming the animals. This scene not only highlights the peaceful coexistence of plant-eating animals which, after the fall, would become predators and prey, it also answers common questions such as, “How could Adam have named every animal in a single day?”

the temptation and crushing consequences of sin. The scene in which this tree is featured represents the last moments of Adam and Eve’s innocent enjoyment of God’s creation. Overhead, the serpent watches, plotting a deception that will lead to thousands of years of pain and death for mankind.

atastrophe looms ahead for mankind,
but key historical figures such as Methuselah and Noah will play an important part in God’s amazing plan. In this exhibit, Creation Museum guests visit the tent of Methuselah, the man with the longest recorded lifespan in history (969 years). An animatronic figure representing Methuselah explains what happened to Adam’s descendants after the Corruption and warns about the next C of history. Methuselah’s long life overlapped portions of both Adam and Noah’s lifetimes. This means Methuselah would have likely met Noah, who was his grandson, and could have possibly met Adam as well. A chart displayed in this exhibit provides more information about the lifespans of the pre-Flood patriarchs. Methuselah’s life also boasts a connection with the Catastrophe that guests will learn about in the following exhibits. According to the information provided in Genesis 5–7, Methuselah died the very same year that the Flood began. 53

his space introduces visitors to the third of the 7 C’s: Catastrophe.
Building the Ark would have been an enormous task. The full-scale cross section of the Ark featured in this space represents only 1 percent of the actual Ark. This information combined with the opportunity to experience the scale of the Ark firsthand gives guests the proper perspective regarding the enormity of Noah’s task. This exhibit also reveals some of the construction techniques, tools, and skills that may have been used to construct a vessel according to God’s specifications that would survive the worldwide Flood. As visitors enter the room, they will overhear conversations between different lifelike figures, including Noah and some of the workers helping him build the Ark. Two women can be seen in the background making baskets. Information about the size of the Ark (300 cubits x 50 cubits x 30 cubits), the length of a cubit, and shipbuilding techniques can be viewed on signage. A workbench and a variety of tools and models are also displayed in the room.

ocated in the middle of the Flood Geology room is a stunning specimen of one of the ancient world’s fiercest predators—
the Allosaurus fragilis. This dinosaur skeleton features one of the best-preserved Allosaurus skulls ever discovered. The spectacular fossil, dubbed Ebenezer (which is translated as “stone of help” in 1 Samuel 7:12), is surrounded by teaching points about dinosaurs. A monitor displays which parts of Ebenezer are genuine fossils and which were molded from resin based on other allosaur specimens. The allosaur was a large theropod dinosaur. The museum’s dinosaur probably stood 10 feet high and was 30 feet long. It is one of a number of Allosaurus fossils uncovered in the Morrison Formation of North America. Amazingly, more than half its bones were recovered—the skull even has 53 teeth still in place. When the Creation Museum acquired this specimen, Ken Ham said, “[This skeleton] fulfills a dream I’ve had for quite some time. For decades I’ve walked through many leading secular museums, like the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and have seen their impressive dinosaur skeletons, but they were used for evolution. Now we have one of that class for our museum.” 63

In addition to dispersion, this space explains some of the adaptation which occurred in animals after the Flood. As these animals settled in new environments, new species developed within the various kinds, enabling the creatures to thrive in their new surroundings. The changes these animals underwent are not evidence of evolution; in fact, they are the opposite since they were restricted to variation within kinds and never resulted in one kind evolving into a different kind.

Confusion
T
he next stop in the journey through biblical history via the 7 C’s is Confusion. The biblical
account of the building of the city and Tower of Babel is not only about man’s foolish pride and disobedience to God, it is also about a historical event that explains much of the cultural variation within our world today. This exhibit describes the origin of different people groups and provides information about the variation in skin tones, languages, and cultures that we see in the world today. Also explained within this exhibit are some of the ways in which mankind has historically misinterpreted and misrepresented this issue to promote prejudice and division.

Humankind may be divided into many different cultures, but we are united by this biblical truth: there is only one race—the human race. This exhibit explains how the events at Babel resulted in people scattering over the earth and forming more isolated groups, each with distinct characteristics. Such differences resulting from the enormous created variability within human DNA are mostly superficial. The major differences among the various people groups are simply cultural differences that arose as these people groups settled throughout the earth and conquered their environments while developing various skills. 67

Approximately 24 dinosaurs, 4 of which are animatronic, are displayed throughout the Creation Museum. Based on fossil evidence, biblical creationist researchers estimate that there were 60–85 kinds of dinosaurs represented on the Ark during the global Food. This exhibit highlights some of the most popular examples. While some aspects of the dinosaurs and other creatures featured throughout the museum can be clearly explained by fossil specimens, other aspects—such as color and behavior — remain a mystery, leaving paleoartists to make educated guesses based on environmental clues and precedents set by other members of the animal kingdom. However, paleontologists continue to discover new and exciting information about these marvelous animals, giving paleoartists greater insight into how these creatures might have looked and behaved.
