Action: A series of moving parts that allowa firearm to be lodded; fired ‘es and unloaded. Barrel: The metal tube bashers which a bullet passes on its way toa target. Bullet: The projectile located at the tip of the cartridge case. Caliber: The bullet or barrel diameter. Cartridge: A single unit of ammunition made up of the case, primer, propellant, and bullet.
Case: A metal cylinder that is closed at one end and contains the other three components of the cartridge. Chamber: The part of a gun where the cartridge is located ge is loaded.

Cocking: Setting the hammer of a firearm in the firing position. Cylinder: ‘The pert of a revolver that holds ammunition in individual chambers. : Cylinder Latch: A latch on double-action revolvers that allows the cylinder to swing out.
Dangerous Range: The distance a bullet can travel. Double-Action: A type of handgun action in which a single pull of the trigger both cocks the hammer and releases it.
