We flanked the flagstone walk with kettle-style fire bowls on hand-laid stone pedestals for a dramatic nighttime atmosphere. our team is ultra sensitive to existing plant life when adding to an established landscape, and we work to preserve nature’s beauty wherever possible. We built a cabana house and cocktail pool situated just steps from the back door of the home for convenient access. natural stone areas and the walkway are edged with dwarf mondo grass to mesh with existing trees. Hardscape elements are important to the overall design of the courtyard space, but we softened the effect with western white clematis vines to create a lush urban retreat.
