Luganda-English Dictionary Leah Sternefeld and Sseguya Francis Nickshere
2015
Preface This dictionary was written by a learner and a native speaker of Luganda. It was meant to provide a basic vocabulary for learners of Luganda with an indication of the class of a noun and the modified stem of a verb. It is however not a scientific result of research. By asking native speakers of Luganda we tried to include various modern-day meanings of a word and even slang. We thus apologize for possible spelling errors or insufficient translations. Nevertheless, we are confident it can be used as a helpful source for learners of Luganda to understand the general meaning of a word.
Use of the Dictionary
