This traditional kheer is a basic pudding recipe with the use of rice in it and just mouthwatering. Cooking Time: 35 minutes Serving Size: 4 Ingredients: 2 cups coconut milk 3 tablespoons white sugar ½ teaspoon rose water 2 cups milk ¼ cup raisins ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds ¼ cup chopped pistachio ½ teaspoon ground cardamom ½ cup basmati rice Directions: Take a saucepan and boil milk, sugar, and coconut milk into it. Now add basmati rice and cook for around 20 minutes to make a thick and tender mixture.
Now add raisins, rose water, and cardamom and cook for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into bowls and add almonds and pistachios to garnish. Enjoy instantly.
Creamy Pudding
This creamy pudding with raisins is just perfect for all pudding fans. Cooking Time: 45 minutes Serving Size: 4 Ingredients: 2/3 cup golden raisins ¾ cup uncooked white rice 1 tablespoon butter ¼ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups divided milk 1 whisked egg 1/3 cup white sugar Directions: Take a saucepan and boil 1 ½ cups of water in it. Add rice into it and cook for around 20 minutes while covering until rice are well cooked. Now mix milk, salt, and cooked rice into a pan and cook it for 20 minutes on medium heat until it forms a thick and creamy mixture.

Who said white rice is necessary for creamy puddings? This pudding uses brown rice and tastes good. Cooking Time: 2 hours 5 minutes Serving Size: 8 Ingredients: 2 cups uncooked brown rice 1 cup sugar ¾ teaspoon salt 2 cups milk 1 3-inch cinnamon stick 12 fluid ounces evaporated milk 4 cups water
½ teaspoon almond extract Directions: In a pan, add water and brown rice. Boil the rice. Now mix salt and low the flame to cook for about 50 minutes to soften the rice and the liquid absorbed by the rice. Now add milk, almond extract, sugar, and evaporated milk to the rice. After that, add a stick of cinnamon. Cook without covering and mix it continuously. Keep on cooking for 70 minutes and get the texture of your choice.
Rice Pudding with Blueberries

Directions: Take a pan and add water and rice to it. Let it boil. Low the flame and cover the pan. Cook it for about 25 minutes to become the rice soft and soak up the water. In a separate bowl and add salt, sugar, and cornstarch. Now mix milk and sugar to cook the rice and heat to boil for 1 minute. Whip it continuously and off the heat. Now add butter and vanilla. Now, in a bowl, add hot rice blend in whisked egg yolks slowly. In the mixture, add the rest of the mixture. Cook on low heat and mix again and again till the bubbling of the mixture. Now turn off the flame. Garnish the pudding with blueberries or cinnamon and serve.

Directions: Mix milk, orange zest, orange juice, rice, and sugar in a pan. Boil the mixture and low the flame to medium and keep on cooking for about 3540 minutes to soften the rice. Mix the mixture to become thick. Now turn off the flame and add orange liqueur and cocoa powder to the mixture of rice. Now fold the mixture with chocolate chips in the pudding. Serve chilled or warm as by your choice.
Cocoa Pudding
This cocoa pudding is not less tasty than the previous chocolate puddings. You must try it. Cooking Time: 1 hour 15 minutes Serving Size: 8 Ingredients: 1 cup white sugar 4 cups water 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon ½ cup cocoa powder 2 cups white rice 2 cups milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
Directions: In a pot, mix water, rice, and cinnamon and wait for its boiling. Low the flame to medium and leave by covering the pot. Cook for 20 minutes and let the rice absorb the water. Now in rice, mix vanilla extract, milk, sugar, cayenne pepper, cocoa powder, and high the flame. Keep on cooking for almost 5 to 10 minutes and make a thick mixture. Now turn off the flame and put the pudding in a bowl of glass. Give it a rest for 30 minutes before serving.
Cocoa Rice Pudding
You should use short grain rice for this pudding. Also, the taste of cocoa is so good in it. Cooking Time: 1 hour 5 minutes Serving Size: 4 Ingredients: 1/2 cup short grain rice 4 ½ cups whole milk ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/3 cup sugar 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Chocolate shaving for garnishing Directions: Rinse the rice and, for 20 minutes, soak them in water. This is because this step makes the rice soft in a short time. Now take the deep bottom pan and put the rice to it after draining them. Now add milk and sugar to rice and mix them. Now on medium heat, boil milk. When the milk is started to boil, minimize the flame and keep on cooking for 35 minutes so that the rice becomes soft and turns into a thick mixture. Mix once in a while. Now mix cocoa powder, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, and butter in this thick mixture and mix it well for 2 minutes so that chocolate is melted. Now off the heat and let it become at room temperature. Mix once in a while. Pour it into serving dishes and cover by using plastic wraps. Now put it in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours. Garnish pudding with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, serve chilled. With chocolate shavings and whipped cream, garnish the pudding.
Baked Chocolate Pudding
The addition of broken dark chocolate in this pudding is what heaven must taste like. Cooking Time: 1 hour Serving Size: 6 Ingredients: 2 cups uncooked white short grain rice 3 cups milk 4 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/3 cup sugar 4 ounces broken dark chocolate Directions: Set the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Boiled the rice according to the package instruction. Cool 3 cups of boiled rice. Now mix milk, vanilla, sugar, and chocolate in the pan and let it cool. Mix
once in a while. In a bowl, blend the eggs and add chocolate slowly. Mix it well. Now combine the boiled rice with the mixture. Now put this mixture on a greased baking sheet. Put this dish on a deep baking tray and put it in the preheated oven. Add boiled water into the baking tray to fill it ¾ inch from both sides. Bake the mixture for 40 minutes. Check it with a knife tip. If the knife comes out clean, the pudding is ready. The pudding should be soft in the middle and also slightly wobbly. Take sugar powder and dust it over the pudding. In a bowl, whisk the eggs yolks and milk. Keep it aside. Now, in a pan, mix milk and coconut milk on medium heat. When the steam comes from the mixture, low the flame. Now take a pan, put on medium heat and melt butter. After melting, mix rice with it. Now add coconut milk mixture and wait until the milk is absorbed by the rice. Repeat this method till all milk is mix in rice so that rice becomes creamy and soft. This process is complete in 30 minutes approximately. Now add sugar and salt to the rice. Turn off the heat and mix egg yolk in the mixture for about 1 minute until the color has changed. Now add vanilla. Wait for the pudding to come to room temperature and cover the pan by using plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator for cooling. It will take almost 3 hours. Use mango and five-spice powder for garnishing.

Cooking Time: 30 minutes Serving Size: 6 Ingredients: 3 tablespoons white sugar 2 cups milk 2 cups cooked white rice 15 chopped and pitted dates Directions: Take a blender and put cooked rice and blend for few minutes to make a rough blend. But do not puree. A food processor can also be used for this step. Now put this mixture in a pan and add milk, dates, and sugar. Cook on low heat and mix once in a while. This rice pudding is so delicious. Make it for your kids. Cooking Time: 1 hour 55 minutes Serving Size: 4 Ingredients: 1 whisked egg 1 ½ cups water 1 tablespoon extra-virgin coconut oil ¾ cup white rice ¼ cup white sugar ¼ cup salt 1 fresh pineapple wedge 1/2 cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract 13.5 ounces coconut milk ½ teaspoon coconut extract Directions: In a pan, add water and rice. Low the flame to medium-low and cook rice for 20 to 25 minutes to soften the rice by covering them. Now mix rice, salt, coconut milk, and sugar in a pan. For almost 20 minutes, cook all these ingredients until the mixture gets thick and creamy. In a bowl, mix milk and eggs. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of rice to the milk mixture and mix it to warm. Remove the milk blend from heat and add it to the rice mixture slowly. During this mix it continuously. Keep on cooking for 2 to 3 minutes. Now take the pan from the flame and add vanilla extract, coconut oil, and coconut extract to the pudding. Cool it for one hour and serve it with one wedge of pineapple. When it cools down, serve.

Directions: Mix raisins and apple cider vinegar Mix rice and salt with water in a deep bottom pan. Boil it and mix occasionally for almost 8 to 9 minutes on low flame. Now mix half and half and sugar. Let it boil. Now cover the pan and cook it for 25 to 30 minutes until the rice becomes thick and tender. Now add the whisked eggs slowly and cook for 1 minute and turn the flame off. Not put it in a bowl and place plastic wrap over the bowl. Let it cool down a little and add pecans. Serve warm or cool. Pour extra maple syrup into each serving plate or bowl according to the taste of everybody.
Coconut and Rice Kheer

Cooking Time: 1 hour 50 minutes Serving Size: 6 Ingredients: ½ teaspoon ground cardamom 1/3 cup rice 3 cups milk 1 tablespoon ghee 2 tablespoons cashews 2 tablespoons raisins ½ cup grated coconut ½ cup white sugar ¼ cup palm sugar (Jiggery) Directions: In a bowl, put rice and add cold water. For 1 hour, soak the rice. Now, in
one sieve, drain oil. Now, in a saucepan, boil milk and combine it with rice, white sugar, cardamom, coconut, and jaggery. Low flame and cook rice for 30 to 45 minutes until they get soft. Now, in a skillet, add ghee and melt it on medium flame. Now fry cashews and raisins in it and make raisins plump and cashews light brown. Combine the mixture into rice. Eat immediately or put in the refrigerator for very few hours. If pudding gets too thick, mix milk in it.
Caramelized Rice Pudding

Cooking Time: 2 hours 15 minutes Serving Size: 4 Ingredients: 2/3 cup water 1 cup rice ¼ cup white sugar 2 eggs ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon salt 2 cups fat-free milk For the Caramelized Pecans: ½ cup chopped pecans 3 tablespoons butter
½ cup white sugar Directions: On medium heat, boil water in a pan. Now combine with salt and water. Now turn the flame off, and for 5 minutes, keep it aside after covering the pan. Combine sugar with rice and milk for boiling. Low the flame to medium and keep on cooking for 10 minutes. When the rice gets thick, mix eggs into it. Now again, put the pan on flame and for 5 minutes cook it. Mix it again and again and after that, turn off the flame and combine vanilla extract. Let the pudding cool down and get it at room temperature. Stir it constantly for half an hour and cook. Pour it into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap loosely. Put it in the refrigerator for almost 1 hour. Now in a pan, melt the butter on medium heat. Now combine it with pecans and sugar and cook for 5 minutes. It caramelizes the pecans. Directions: In a saucepan, mix raisins, maple syrup, almonds, cinnamon, cooked rice, soy milk, and cardamom and boil on low medium heat. When the first boil comes low, the heat is almost very low and cook it for 10 minutes to get the mixture thick. Mix again and again to avoid burning. Now pour it into serving bowls. Enjoy it instantly.
Vegan Chocolate Pudding
Vegans can enjoy chocolate puddings with this top-notch rice pudding recipe. Cooking Time: 4 hours Serving Size: 8 Ingredients: 4 ½ cups soy milk 2/3 cup brown rice 2 tablespoons coconut milk 8 ounces softened vegan cheese ½ cup sugar 2 tablespoons vanilla 8 ounces cocoa powder
2 tablespoons flax seeds 2 tablespoons ground seeds (mix ground flax seeds with 3 tablespoons of water) 1 cup fresh raspberry Directions: Mix soy milk, vanilla, rice, and sugar in a deep saucepan. Keep on cooking for 1 hour on medium flame until the mixture gets soft and thick. Minimize the flame to low. Now, in a large bowl, mix the rest of the milk, flaxseeds, vegan, and cheese. Now slowly mix rice mixture in it. Mix carefully so that there are no lumps of flax seeds will be in the mixture. Now put this mixture in the pan and keep on cooking for 1 minute. Do not boil and stir constantly. After that, add cocoa powder. Combine them well and put the pudding in bowls for serving. Use raspberries for garnishing and chilled them for serving.
Carrot and Rice Pudding
This rice pudding with carrots in it is what you should try today, and you can replace the long-grain rice with half-grain too. Cooking Time: 3 hours 40 minutes Serving Size: 6 Ingredients: ¾ cup long-grain rice 2 quarts almond milk 1 cup coconut milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¾ cup chopped almond 3 tablespoons ground flax seeds 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon ½ cup white sugar
½ cup shredded carrots Directions: In a big saucepan, add milk and boil it on medium heat. Low the flame and mix carrots and rice and cook them for 20 to 25 minutes. Mix it, again and again, to avoid scorching. Now mix flaxseeds, vanilla, sugar, and coconut milk in a bowl size medium. Now add carrots and rice slowly in it and mix quickly when putting it. Let this mixture boil and mix it continuously for 10 minutes. Now turn the flame off and add almonds. Now put this mixture into your pan of 9x13 and drizzle cinnamon on top for garnishing. Chilled it in the fridge to make pudding thick and cold by covering it with a plastic wrap.
