Dear Sir:—This will introduce Mr. Mosler of Cincinnati, a member of the firm of Mosler, Bahmann & Co., now largely en¬

gaged in the manufacture of safes, etc. He was recently of the ‘‘Union Safe'Factory” of Cincinnati, and from him we pur¬ chased our Safe, pronounced one of the finest in Ohio. Their work is No. 1, and in all their dealings you wi.l find them gen¬ tlemen. Should you not require any thing in their line, please aid Mr. Mosler in canvassing your town, and charge your trouble to me, which I will gladly repay. Very truly, " C. F. GAEAGHTY.

Messrs.

Knoxville, Daily Whig, May 21, 1870. inspected yesterday, at the office of Judge C. W. Jones, at the court house, one of the finest speci¬ Masonic Safe.—We

of mechanism in the shape of a Fire Proof Safe that we beheld. It was manufactured expressly for the use of the Masonic Fraternity of this city, by Mosler, Bahmann & Co., of mens

ever

Cincinnati, and was delivered to the Masonic Committee a few days since, by the Company’s agent in this city, Julius Ochs, direct from the house he represents. The Safe .is certainly all that mechanism, workmanship, and art can accomplish. It is beautifully painted and the door is decorated with the emblems of the different divisions of Masonry, for whose use it was man¬ ufactured, most artistically arranged to correspond exactly with the apartments inside. The interior is divided into three com¬ partments, each of which has a separate door, with the name for which it was contracted beautifully painted upon it: “Master’s Lodge, No. 244,” “Pearl Chapter, No. 24, “Cceur de Leon Commandery, No. 6. ” On the inside facing of the door is

painted

a

most beautiful landscape.

The wood work is

workmanship and

all inlaid mahogany, of the most exquisite finish The whole is secured by a Sargent Combination Lock, which we are assured has stood the test over any other; now

made, in that it has never been picked. We most sincerely commend the firm who manufactured this Safe, and especially Mr. Ochs, their agent, who took especial pains in this instance to please the Masonic brotherhood. Since the above was in type we have received the following testimonial to Mr. Ochs’ Company from the Masonic Com¬ mittee

:

Knoxville, Tenn., May 39, 1870. Julius

The Safe.by far surpassed our expectations—our order having been filled to the slightest detail, and for beauty and workman¬

ship we think can not be surpassed by any manufactory in the country. We take great pleasure in recommending your Com¬ pany to the Fraternity and the public in general, feeling confi¬ dent that their demand will be filled in the most satisfactory manner.

Yery respectfully and fraternally yours, S PEN CEB MUNSON, A. CALDWELL, I. M. THORNBURGH, WM. MORROW, H. M. AIKEN.
