Introduction Many Vedic astrologers have no concept of what Pluto represents, and in recent times, astronomers have downgraded Pluto from a planet to a dwarf planet. But aside from the recent change in status, Western astrologers are in agreement the planetary energies of Pluto cannot be denied. As a matter of fact, I believe they base way too much on this planet because they seem to blame every extreme on Pluto. Without a doubt, I have experienced the power of Pluto. If you understand the meaning of the 8th house then you understand everything that concerns Pluto. The 8th house is the house of death and this planet concerns everything associated with death and catastrophic endings. It rules power and everything associated with control and power. Pluto pertains to power for better or for worse, and many of those that abuse power have an intense relationship with Pluto. But this power can, of course, be used for good, as this is the transformative power as the symbol of the phoenix that dies to the ashes and is reborn. This is the power that Pluto has to transform people. When people become consumed with power, they begin to destroy themselves, for the ego begins to take over. They want more and more power, becoming completely egocentric. When consumed with power, people become obsessed with control, wanting to control everything and everybody. When they feel that they are not in control, they become completely out of control. This can be seen in those that have eating disorders, as they feel they can control what they eat but their obsession becomes out of control and they begin to destroy themselves. Pluto rules the underworld. In the Greek myth of Persephone, she was kidnapped and raped by Pluto and taken to the underworld. Her mother, Ceres, was heartbroken. Ceres was in control of the foods and harvest, but she stopped due to her grief. To appease both Pluto and Ceres, Persephone was allowed to come back at certain times of the year, which denotes spring and the growth after the dead chill of winter when she was to be in the underworld with Pluto. Pluto pertains to the darkness of rape and sexuality, with deep connections to
sexuality and abuse. Another major issue that concerns Pluto is issues of betrayal. When Pluto is tightly conjunct or opposed natal Venus, which pertains to relationships and love, the individual goes through deep betrayal with the partner. Because Pluto represents the ability to transform, there are deep psychological understandings with this planet. The 8th house is the house of psychoanalysis, psychology, and metaphysics. This planet can give great power to understand the emotional transformation process such as when people get into therapy and heal the emotional body that has been deeply scared. It is when an individual begins to let go of their issues of power and control and they surrender to a higher power. The transit of Pluto does exactly that. It is hard to surrender the ego and control but the transformation process heals the soul. Pluto gives the ultimate transformation of the mind and emotions which heals and eliminates vast karmas of the soul. Many are unable to surrender, and they stay stuck in the hell of their tormented mind and body. Psychic powers and the ability to communicate with the other side also falls under Pluto’s domain, for it is connected to death. Since Pluto rules death and other people’s money, it rules money that comes through inheritances, or any settlements such as a lawsuit or divorce. As I mentioned, I am very aware of the power of Pluto because it eliminates that which is not growth producing. This planet gives the blessing of what the change in awareness will give, which is a new birth or new life. Pluto’s effects are very long range, as it stays in a sign for such a long duration. Pluto has an elliptical orbit and when closest to the Sun and Earth, it is in one sign for about 14 years, like Neptune. As a matter of fact, around the year 1999, it was within the orbit of Neptune, actually closer to the earth than Neptune, but when it is furthest out it can remain in a sign for about 30 years. It takes 243 years to transit through all 12 signs of the zodiac. While Pluto is transiting a natal planet, the effects are long and felt for two full years. Currently it will move about the same rate of speed as Neptune and the mean rate of speed per year is about three degrees with its back and forth retrograde motion. One of the most life changing years of my life was around 1990, when
transiting Pluto crossed over my natal Sun. It was gut-wrenching as my husband went into treatment at a rehab center and I went to family week – an intense week of emotional therapy. On the exact day Pluto conjoined my Sun, to the second, I was balling my eyes out in the most intense therapy session where I was involved with all my family members and baring all of my feelings. I remember right at the deepest crisis points, the facility had a fire drill where I had to stop and walk out of the building with everyone and then rejoin again, picking up where I left off. I wondered why the fire drill came at the most intense time. Perhaps to give me more time to process my feelings, I thought, and it symbolized something profound. I knew exactly where Pluto was on that day and how it felt. It is emotionally gut-wrenching and everyone who has gone through a Pluto transit will always remember how it feels. Pluto rules death but also rules birth, and this is why it rules power. When it transits natal planets, Pluto can actually bring death, but it is usually a death of the old self and a transmutation into a new life.
Chapter 1 The Effects of Pluto The effects of Pluto are extremely emotional. The outer planets have deep psychological effects on our lives and affect generations of people. This planet is the furthest out in our solar system. It was demoted as a planet, but we all know its effects are huge. Pluto may have been stripped of its “planet” title in 2006, but it is still referred to as a “binary planet” because of its unusual orbit with its Moon, Charon. Pluto and Charon are more like a binary star system than most moonplanet systems. Pluto’s rotation is retrograde compared to the solar systems’ other worlds; it spins backward, from east to west. Whether it is considered to be a dwarf planet or regular planet, its effects are colossal. It was discovered in 1930, which was the beginning of dark times globally, as it was the start of the Great Depression in the United States, and World War II began out of the depression in Germany. It was also at this time that we saw the further development of nuclear war that ended with earthly devastation. Pluto represents devastation, destruction, and the ensuing transformation that results. Pluto’s meanings are the same as the 8th house and is associated with the eighth sign Scorpio in Western astrology. Pluto rules deep profound emotion, obsessions, addictions, and everything concerning the underworld. Therefore, when we go through emotional dark times, we attribute events to the power of this little dwarf planet, Pluto. And ultimately, we understand that this planet’s effects are anything but dwarf. Could the experiences of Pluto be attributed to the fact that it is the planet of our solar system that is the gateway to the Universe? It does rule the gateway from life to death, the unknown world beyond this world. Mythologically, Pluto (Greek- Hades) was the god of the underworld and is the reason for the seasons as he stole Persephone away from her mother Ceres (Greek - Demeter) who was the keeper of the earth in terms of harvest plants and growth, but as her daughter was taken, she grieved so deeply that she quit
tending to the growth on the planet and everything on Earth began to die. Persephone (also known as Kore) ate the pomegranate fruit of Pluto, which meant she could never return from the underworld. But the gods could not have the world die, so there was a pact made where she could return from the underworld for half of the year. When she returned, her mother was happy and the plants began to grow again (as in spring), but as she returned to the underworld, everything began to die again (as in the fall and winter). What does this all symbolize? There are many interpretations of this myth but the obvious one is that when Persephone ate the fruit, she was doomed to stay in the underworld. This is like the myth of Adam and Eve as the fruit symbolizes the temptation of male and female sexuality. If the fruit symbolizes temptation, then in this case, it was the girl that ate the fruit as in Adam and Eve. In most of the myths, there is a sense that when Persephone was kidnapped, she was raped, and planet Pluto definitely has a connection of darkness pertaining to sexuality. The 8th house and Scorpio rules the sexual organs. Problems concerning sexual abuse, rape and molestation are referred to in the 8th house. Pluto rules the deep undercurrents of the 8th house and all of its indications. I have often noted that the 8th house rules ways to control others. The three most powerful ways to control unconscious individuals is through the three signatures of the 8th house, which are money, sex, and death. As the 8th house is the indicator of money we share, or money through others, it pertains to inheritances as well as the money from our spouse (2nd house from the 7th house). The 2nd house and 2nd sign Taurus pertain to the money we earn ourselves, but as the 8th house and Scorpio the 8th sign is the opposite sign/house it indicates a more public level of our money and finances. The first six signs are more personal while the last six signs take the personal values or indications and relate them on a larger and more public level. 1st house – you 7th house – your partner 2nd house – money you earn
8th house – others money 3rd house – lower education 9th house – higher education 4th house – home privacy 10th house – career, public 5th house – our children 11th house – people of the world, humanity 6th house – personal health, doctors 12th house – public health, hospitals The 8th house is deeply concerned with issues pertaining to money and all the emotions surrounding this issue. Many people have deep issues of wrong and right and injustice surrounding money. Many families and siblings are torn apart due to the feelings around inheritances of the family. In all of these cases, when someone feels that they do not get their fair share, deep resentments initiate, controlling their lives. Remember, the real keyword here is control. Many people are consumed by the attainment of money. They work jobs they don’t like, associate with people they don’t care for, and even marry or stay in relationships all for security and money. In the most extreme cases, people would kill for money. Money gives power and prestige. Even in relationships, the one with the money is in control. They decide where to live, eat, and even where to go on vacation. People advance in position and responsibility for more money. Certain jobs and careers are sought out for the amounts of money they will be able to gain. People control others through money. Sex is the next area in which others exert control each other. Sexual attraction is a powerful device to control others. Magnetism can get people noticed over others. Charisma makes them stand out in a crowd. It can get you in the door with positions in career and even get one to rise up the corporate ladder. In many relationships, people control each other through sex. They
essentially get what they want out of others through giving or refraining from sex. Sex is a powerful mechanism of control people have on each other, as they manipulate each other through passion and attraction. The fear of death is another tool used to control others. Religious groups use eternal damnation to control the masses, telling them they will be punished and suffer if they don’t abide by their laws. But ultimately, religion uses the fear of death, insinuating that if you don’t go to their church, you will burn in hell forever when you die. But, of course, if you follow their rules, you will be rewarded by going to heaven. The use of these three controlling factors (money, sex, and death) can be deeply disturbing and take control our minds. The planet Pluto points to the profound power and manipulation of our minds. The real issue is that we can never really be in total control because life is uncertain. The fear of not being in control can consume the mind and drive one to actually be out of control. Being out of control as a result of extreme control issues is at the core of eating disorders. Pluto also pertains to the deep understanding of the mind and psychology. To gain control by trying to understand human behavior can give a certain aspect of control back into life. Pluto is completely psychological. Once a person understands why they are reacting and behaving in a certain way, then they can consciously change their behavior, therefore changing their life. As the 8th house and Pluto rule death, this brings in all the ways we can influence and bring untimely death. It rules murder, suicide, addictions, and perverted behaviors such as sexual abuse. All of these reactions pertain to obsessions of the mind that are out of control. When an individual’s mind is obsessed with the extremes of being out of control, the only way to gain some sense of control in life is to surrender. This is key to the 8th house, and especially Pluto, because in all major events that deal with great fear, loss and grief (especially with death and dying), we go through five psychological stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. This is the psychological process we all go through to finally arrive at the transformative power of the mind, and this can happen only when we come to the power of letting go and acceptance, which stems from surrender.
It is a fact that most people don’t surrender until they lose everything, and the last thing to lose is our lives. This is seen in so many aspects of addiction, because all addictions surmount in something taking control of our lives, ultimately destroying our lives until we can accept or surrender to the power the addiction has over us. What is the process of surrender? It is essentially when someone realizes they are not in control and understands that they must ask for help, for they are powerless. This is definitely the other side of Pluto. We must come to the realization that to surrender and understand that we are powerless is actually what gives us our lives back because we are connecting to a power far greater than ourselves. This is the power of surrender as in the transformation of the phoenix, which is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or born again and obtains new life by arising from the ashes. To surrender to death is the ultimate surrender, as is also symbolized by the resurrection of Christ. This is the ultimate power and lesson on Earth. The important message of these stories does not involve death exclusively, but includes anything that we need to transform and change in our lives. Through these stories, we understand that we have to surrender and accept help for a source more powerful than ourselves, and above all else, to ultimately realize we are one with this power. This will be realized when we die but it can be realized even while alive to transform our lives. This is the true power of Pluto, for Pluto is the gateway to the Universe from our solar system. It involves going beyond our comfort zone and what we know, realizing just how little we actually know. The fact that Pluto’s Moon is almost the same size and acts like a binary star is somehow significant, and I believe it must be relative to the admission to finding a power outside ourselves that is actually a part of ourselves and can work in unison. Furthermore, the fact that Pluto was demoted to a dwarf planet can also symbolize that we actually do come into our own power when we relinquish our sense of power and being in control. The lessons of Pluto are the ultimate lessons of life as they pertain to the powers that control this world. Mercury (or Hermes) is the only God and planet who can go in and out of the underworld. Mercury was the messenger of the gods and had the power to bring people to the underworld (as in death) but only he could come out. This is
symbolic of how our minds work, and Mercury rules the process of the mind. We can go into deep and dark thoughts that can control us. But what is significant here is that Mercury could leave the underworld, which implies that we can change our lives by changing our thoughts. The deep dark thoughts of the dark night of the soul occurs when we hit the bottom of deep depression. But if one can go through the process, they will come out on the other side, much like the Phoenix. Or they die and are reborn, but unfortunately many never return, resulting in suicide. Maybe this is why the planet Mercury is the only planet in Vedic astrology that does not lose strength in the 8th house. It actually gains strength, possibly meaning that the process of regeneration can be obtained by the deep understanding of Mercury representing the thinking mind and how it controls the mind. To understand the mind is to gain control of the mind. The 8th house as well as Pluto rule psychology. If one can understand what makes people react in a certain manner, as well as understanding the subconscious mind and the controls of the past, then this enables one to gain control and change their life. The issue around control is what traps individuals in their own misery. The only way out is to surrender the need to be in control. The 8th house and Pluto are controlled by ways to be in control of others and manipulate others. This house pertains to others manipulating the individual (as in sexual abuse). Deep perversions and addictions come under the rule of this house. All problems associated with emotions that control the mind, fear, or addictions come under this house and Pluto’s rulership. Those with a powerful Pluto or 8th house have a powerful effect on others. They have a certain something that attracts others. It is actually an energy that captures attention. This is called charisma. Charisma is something we feel; it is an energy. Hollywood actresses have charisma because it makes them stand out in a crowd. They may not even be physically as beautiful, but we are drawn to them. This is the powerful energy of Pluto, the 8th house, and the sign Scorpio which rules the energy of sexual attraction and passion. Pluto and the 8th house rule a deep focus to uncover hidden information (as in research). This is a part of the power of Pluto. It comes under the domain of the reaching beyond this world. The 8th house is a water house and is the most
misunderstood house of the chart since it pertains to death and spirits from other dimensions. Mediums and psychics have a powerful relationship to the water houses which pertain to houses 4, 8, and 12. These houses are also associated with the signs relative to these houses – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Planets in these houses give sensitivities to energies beyond this dimension, as in psychic powers. This is a power that is beyond this world. Disgrace and humiliation are a result of many abuses of power, as these are not acceptable in society. Disgrace leads to humiliation. Others shame them over the acts of perversion but the power of the mind trapped in addictions and secrets controls the mind and perverse emotions. Secrets can control the mind. The more secrets are concealed, the more they subconsciously control behavior. This is the power that therapy can have as individuals accept and reveal their shameful behaviors. The hidden secrets of the past can have control over their lives, surfacing in behaviors that are perverse. It takes an evolved individual to face their inner demons and try to understand where it began and why. Revealing the truth and understanding the past is the only way to heal. This is the process of psychoanalysis. In most twelve step programs, there must be acceptance with surrendering to a higher power. The ultimate connection to a higher power brings a power beyond this world to heal the lower emotions that control the mind and bring suffering and destruction to a life. Ultimately this transformation eliminates anything that is not growth producing in life. Many of the things in life that we are addicted to and believe we cannot live without can and will be eliminated. This is what is stripped from life and causes the deep emotional loss that feels devastating. Anything associated with addictions must go, including relationships, friends, habits, family, places associated with the addiction, and anything that encourages the negative behaviors associated with controlling the mind. The transit of Pluto can bring the devastation that eliminates our attachments that control our mind, like an addiction. Years later, there is a powerful realization that eliminating the addiction is the best thing that could have happened. The change in the path and life direction could have never resulted in the healing and successes that this change has produced. This is the process and transformation that Pluto brings. Many tend to hold on and stay attached to the things that are actually destroying their lives. Perhaps on some level, the individual wants to destroy themselves because they are faced with the feelings
of disgrace and humiliation of their past. In many instances, individuals feel deep emotions of humiliation that originate from a feeling of being unloved or not wanted. This begins the search for love and acceptance, resulting in addictions and unacceptable emotions or perversions. The misuse of the emotional effects of the 8th house and Pluto results in the power of passion and love that leads to other profoundly controlling emotions such as a feeling of betrayal. As others betray a sense of trust, powerful emotions around betrayal can lead the obsessed mind into depression and addictions to numb the deep sense of loss and grief. This can result in suicide, murder, and shocking unexpected death. This is the power that emotions can take over the mind. When truth comes to light, a very positive realization that evolves out of all this is humility, which eliminates all past emotional karma. The power of Pluto can be used for great destruction, but do not forget that it has the incredible power to heal as well. Pluto rules Plutonian energy used in nuclear energy. This energy is used for great destruction and can actually annihilate and destroy the world, but this power can be used to heal the world. Radiation is used to kill cancer, but the use of this power is not quite understood as it destroys healthy cells as well. Once this power is better understood and mastered, I believe it can heal the world because this is the power of Pluto. Discovery Pluto was discovered in 1930. At this time, the Great Depression was in full motion. Tyrants with underworld qualities controlled the masses. Mafia leaders, gangsters, and dictators like Hitler and Stalin were rampant. The discovery of atomic energy caused mass destruction and the threat of total human annihilation from the end of World War II. Pluto resembles Rahu. Pluto is the higher octave of Mars. Keywords Explosiveness, power, control, manipulation, surrender, transformation,
underworld, mafia, secrets, obsessions, compulsions, revenge, big money, sex, atomic energy, big government, corruption, birth and death, healing. Mythology Pluto (Hades) was the god of the underworld and death. He symbolizes the dark side of life, our shadow side, and our fears. It is the things we fear the most that will bring us to the light, or in other words, the realization of truth. If we do not face our fears, they can control us. Pluto is about surrendering the fears as a necessity to relinquish the chains of this life. The myth of Hercules and the Hydra sends this same message. Every time Hercules cut off one of the Hydra’s heads, many more would grow back. Finally, when he fell to his knees in the light, the Hydra died. This story symbolizes that the more you try to deny your fears, the more they will multiply, but if you bring the fears to light by surrender, they will disappear. Pluto relates to the energies of Scorpio and the 8th house. Jyeshta is in the constellation of Scorpio and refers to the serpent powers that can be used for supernormal uses; control for the material or surrender for the spiritual. In Indian mythology, Yama is the god of death and rules over the underworld, like Pluto/Hades in Greek and Roman mythology.
Chapter 2 Mundane Astrology: Pluto’s aspect to Outer Planets, Jupiter, Saturn and Rahu/Ketu Number of Years for Conjunction Neptune/Pluto: 492 years Uranus/Pluto: 127 years (average) Saturn/Pluto: 33 years Jupiter/Pluto: 13 years Outer Planets to Outer Planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto Pluto and Neptune are in hard aspect about every 124 years, waxing square, opposition, and waning square taking about 492 years to complete. Uranus and Pluto are in hard aspect around 35 years, taking an average of 127 years to complete. Hard aspects between the three outer planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – define the astrological era and reveal information concerning that time in history. The hard aspects bring difficulties to the forefront, producing big events and transformational changes. The hard aspects are the conjunction, waxing square, opposition, and waning square. Pluto stays in a sign for about 12-30 years (Pluto has an elliptical orbit; when furthest from the Sun, it can stay in a sign for 30 years) and takes 245 years to transit all 12 signs. The big picture cycles involve the outer planets as they aspect each other. There were many world events that were caused by the hard aspects of these outer planets. And of course, generations are born out of these times as well. With this information, many cycles from the past can be studied to understand the future and, therefore, make political and economic global predictions. The rate of speed of each planet determines when they will form major
aspects to each other. Neptune and Pluto Neptune and Pluto form a hard aspect around every 124 years. Around the turn of the century in the 1890s, Neptune and Pluto were conjunct in Taurus, initiating the beginning of a spiritualist movement. Madame H.P. Blavatsky, the founder of modern Theosophy, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson were instrumental in activating the spiritual movements. Many were communicating with spirits; séances were commonly practiced throughout America. This is the result of Pluto’s power and transformation combined with the spiritualizing power of Neptune. Uranus and Pluto Uranus and Pluto form a hard aspect about every 35 years. The signs play a part in the planetary picture of the time. The planetary patterns and aspects are the most predictive element in astrology. They were opposed at the turn of the century in 1901: Pluto was in Taurus and Uranus was in Scorpio. Then they formed a waning square in the 1930s, when Uranus was in Pisces and Pluto was in Gemini. Then they formed a conjunction in the 1960s in Leo bringing us to the waxing square of 2011-2015 with Uranus in Pisces and Pluto in Sagittarius. There is a huge turning point in history each time there is a hard aspect with these planets of transformation and change. Pluto rules the powers that control the world, the financial markets and monopolies. In the past and even today, this power is seen in dictatorships and even mafias. Uranus is connected through retaliation of dictators throughout the world. Freedom comes with a price. Control and power of the churches are brought to justice, as the priests and corruption of the churches are held accountable. The Associated Press estimated the settlements of sex abuse cases from 1950 to 2007 totaled more than $2 billion. Accountability puts the figure at more than $3 billion in 2012. Uranus
square Pluto indicates a breakdown of powers that control the world, and this was evident from 2011-2015 during the Uranus-Pluto square. Jupiter aspect Pluto Jupiter brings expansion and freedom. Combined with the outer planets, it can bring extreme events. Depending on the nature of the sign and planet it can make events more expansive or bigger for good or bad. Jupiter and Pluto are in hard aspect every 3 years, taking 13 years to complete their cycle. Jupiter and Pluto alignments coincide with large-scale events that tend to overpower. The danger with Jupiter-Pluto aspects is that they tend to correlate with great success and windfalls or extreme downfalls. They were in conjunction in 2007 – a time when the markets were teetering on disaster. 2008 was a financial fall that brought ruin to many people around the world. The result was negative due to the configuration of Jupiter and Pluto close to Rahu and the time of eclipses. Saturn aspect Pluto Saturn is the planet that will bring large breakdowns, death, and endings. Combined with the outer planets, it produces extremes in world events. Saturn and Pluto are in hard aspects around every 9 years, taking approximately 33 years to complete their cycle. Saturn and Pluto aspects bring disasters. They are in hard (conjunction, square, and opposition) aspects about every 9 years. The last square was in 2010, which had many natural disasters – an earthquake in Haiti that was one of the deadliest on record, a massive earthquake in Chile, volcanic eruptions in Iceland, and man-made destruction with the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Saturn and Pluto were in opposition nine years prior in 2001 when the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred. The square nine years before, 1992-1993, was the first world trade center bombing. Pluto and Rahu/Ketu
Currently, it takes 16 years for Pluto and Ketu to come to a conjunction. The last time they were conjunct was 2010. Pluto rules massive powers that control the world and the conjunction with Rahu brought to the surface controlling powers. The control and power of the Catholic Church was brought to the surface with the sexual corruption of many priests. A huge revelation of power and corruption occurred when British Petroleum’s gigantic oil leak exposed their corruption and power. This was also a big year of massive earthquakes, as a massive earthquake of magnitude 7.0 hit Haiti killing almost 250k people, injuring 300k and more than one million people were made homeless. The earthquake that hit Chili was more powerful but less destructive. Pluto and Ketu conjoin every 16 years. The last conjunction was the year 2001-2002. This was one of the worst times globally for terrorism. Pluto was with Ketu and Mars. Ketu rules terrorist and fear. The world has never been the same from this time forward.
Chapter 3 Pluto in the Signs Pluto has an elliptical orbit where when it is farthest from the Sun, it can stay in a sign for over 30 years, and when closest to the Sun, it is in a sign for twelve years. It was even within the orbit of Neptune (1979 – 1999) as it was closer to the Sun than Neptune. The difference of time spent in signs can be seen as Pluto is in a sign for more than thirty years while in Aries and in the opposite sign from Aries, for about 12 years while in Libra for 1981 -1992. Many of these time periods overlap with important time periods of the other outer planets giving a mixture of their energy. Pluto in Aquarius February 1792 – March 1850 1789 - 1799 French Revolution 1819 and 1839 Economic Depressions 1845 - Manifest Destiny Manifest Destiny was a phrase coined in 1845. It is the idea that the United States is destined by God, and its advocates believed to expand its dominion and spread democracy and capitalism across the entire North American continent. Rapid growth, as well as two economic depressions in 1819 and 1839, would drive millions of Americans westward in search of new land and new opportunities. But expanding too rapidly didn’t allow the economy to catch up. The French Revolution lasted from 1789 until 1799. The Revolution precipitated a series of European wars, forcing the United States to articulate a clear policy of neutrality in order to avoid being embroiled in these European conflicts. This was a time of new frontiers and new beginnings, but many of these events precipitated more difficult cyclic changes to come, such as the Civil War. Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism and the high-minded pursuits of the era led to sweeping changes globally. Pluto in this sign prompted a vast awakening
in the spirits and minds of mankind. This was a time of expansion and new discoveries in which Pluto in this sign gave. Pluto in Pisces April 1815 – January 1842 1821–1829 — Greek War for Independence: Greece versus Turkey 1836 — Texas War of Independence: Texas versus Mexico 1830–1847 — French conquest of Algeria 1839–1842 — First Opium War: Britain versus China 1826–1828 — Russo-Persian War 1824–1826 — First Burmese War: Britain versus Burma Pluto in Pisces appears to be a time when all the countries were trying to take control of other countries, to take power and become a player in world domination. These are just a few of the takeovers that were occurring at this time. It seems every country was trying to either take over another or were fighting for independence. Pisces is the sign of endings before the new beginning of the zodiac which begins with Aries. So, all the world is gathering power before the end. In the sign of Pisces, there are some very prominent fixed stars, such as Scheat was around 3- 4 degrees Pisces at that time. This star concerns extreme loss and sorrow. It was a time with many shipwrecks and other drastic events involving the seas and water. This was a time of exploring the unknown as the sign Pisces deals with the final frontiers. Pluto in Aries July 1842 - May 1875 1860 – 1865 Abraham Lincoln President 1861 – 1865 Civil War Pluto in Aries was a very destructive time in the United States as it was
during the American Civil war, but the extremes of so much destruction and loss of life actually brought a much better future as it ended slavery. Aries is the sign that rules Mars, so it is no wonder these times were a time of war. But Pluto always has the effects of bringing something better through destroying that which is not growth producing. Abraham Lincoln was elected president in 1860. He refused to recognize the southern states as an independent nation and the Civil War broke out in the spring of 1861. The American Civil War was fought between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America. The conflict began because of a longstanding disagreement over slavery. After four bloody years of conflict in the United States, the institution of slavery was abolished nation-wide. On January 1, 1863, Lincoln freed the slaves. Lincoln was re-elected in 1864. On April 14, 1865, Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. The South was left bankrupt from the war. More than 620,000 men died in the Civil War, more than any other war in American history. The southern states slowly rebuilt and re-admitted to the United States over the course of the twenty years of hardship. Pluto in Aries gives Pluto the enormous power to destroy and rebuild through horrendous destruction but creates a better humanity and world. Pluto in Taurus June 1875 – June 1906 1878-1880 Edison invented the first practical incandescent light bulb 1888, Heinrich Hertz confirmed experimentally that an electric spark propagates electromagnetic waves into space. In 1891, Tesla developed an induction coil that produced high-frequency alternating currents, now known as the Tesla coil. He used it in experiments to produce electric lighting, X-rays, and wireless power, and it became the basis of radio and TV. During this time, many inventions and discoveries came about. The fact that Neptune was with Pluto during the 1890s aided in this time to bring about
powerful realizations that changed the world forever, such as silent movies, flying, practical use of electricity, and electrometric energy, electricity. While Tesla was developing alternating currents, the world was a blaze of new inventions to improve life as we know it today. The San Francisco earthquake was a devastating event that changed how buildings were built. The San Francisco earthquake occurred April 18, 1906. In 1903, the Wright brothers invented the first successful airplane and the first silent movie. Taurus is not the sign we first imagine when it comes to inventions, but while Taurus is ruled by Venus, these inventions brought in many of the ways we find comforts in life, which is most important to Taurus energy. I don’t believe this was the complete cause of the events during this time, but it was important. There was always some kind of war going on somewhere in the world, but this was a relatively more peaceful time. Pluto in Gemini July 1906 – May 1934 World War I 1914 – 1918 1929 Stock Market crash Great Depression 1920- 1933 Nationwide U.S. Prohibition 1920, granted women the right to vote Roaring 20’s World War I was the first war involving the world, as conflict was mounting everywhere. It ended with the defeat of the Central Powers. The war was virtually unprecedented in the slaughter, carnage, and destruction it caused, and its destabilization of European society laid the groundwork for World War II. During this time frame, there were great highs – as in the roaring 20s and then the Great Depression, with extreme lows, which actually brought about the beginnings of World War II as many leaders, particularly Adolph Hitler,
promised Germany a prosperous future, when there was grave poverty in Europe, especially Germany. But World War II really peaked in the next cycle. Prohibition illegalized the manufacture, transportation, and sale of alcohol. But at the same time, women were granted the right to vote. So many laws were changing the face of our world. It was apparently a time of righteousness with many changes in laws. All the while prohibition was in effect, there was the roaring 20’s with many speakeasies (secret bars to drink alcohol). In the sign Gemini is the treacherous nakshatra Ardra, which is ruled by the storm god Rudra and its symbol is a teardrop representing sadness. Of all the nakshatras this one is known to be the most devastating. And as there was a World War followed by the stock market crash that followed with the Great Depression, this portion of the zodiac gave way to its sorrow. Pluto in Cancer June 1934 – August 1953 1939 – 1945 World War II World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history. An estimated total of 70–85 million deaths resulted. As Cancer is the sign of security, the world was under siege and no one was safe anywhere. This was one of the darkest times in history. Another discovery that came about during this time was the discovery of atomic energy, but unfortunately, the unleashing of this energy destroyed so many lives as the bomb to end the war was dropped on Japan in 1945. Pluto in Cancer was devastating, and hopefully, due to that event, we have learned a lot about the perils and destruction of war. This was a time of tyrants and dictators, as Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini tried to control the world. Furthermore, this was also a time when the mafia leaders tried to take over some of the cities in the U.S., like Chicago. Crime was at a peak throughout the world. Within the sign of Cancer is the nakshatra Ashlesha which is known for its powers of manipulation and sneakiness. Many world leaders tried to disguise their need for power and control as a trustworthy cause for their own nations, but they were extremely deceptive, clearly only out for their own power.
At least within this most horrible time frame the war did end and the world tried to recover from the most devastating blow ever in human history. Always remember that the sign Cancer is concerned with protection and security, which in the end, inevitably gave in. Pluto in Leo September 1953 – August 1969 1962 Cuban Missile Crises 1955 – 1975 Viet Nam War 1963 Assassination of President Kennedy 1968 Assassination of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr This began a time frame when the world was rebuilding after the war. It is the time of the baby boomers – a surge in the birth of new babies from families reuniting after such horrific turmoil. A new young President never imagined before came into office to give the U.S. hope, President Kennedy. But the vile corruption brewing beneath the surface was kept hidden even until today. Assassinations were occurring throughout this time – President Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, and Robert Kennedy. Problems throughout the world were acted out in fits of violence but the secrets remained hidden behind the scenes. There was no social media. A rebellion to all the crises hidden beneath the surface began to surface at this time, such as racial tensions, the hippy movement, and excessive drug abuse. All of this was not only due to Pluto being in the sign of self-expression, Leo, but that it was also transiting with Uranus in Leo. Once these two planets united, rebellion was unleashed around the world. The younger generations fought back in rebellion with a new way of selfexpression which is one of the main expressions of Leo. The music changed to a new expression of what was happening in the world. We saw the crying out against the Viet Nam War, the escalation of drug use such as LSD, barbiturates, amphetamines, and the birth control pill brought a new independence to women. This was a time when the youthful generations fought back at the status quo to regain the freedom they believed in. This was the rebellion of the 60s music and
counterculture. Leo and the nakshatra Purva Phalguni are the most creative and expressive placements in the zodiac, as Leo is the 5th sign relative to the 5th house. Pluto in Virgo September 1969 – September 1981 1969 First man on the Moon 1969 Manson murders 1972 Killing at the Munich Olympics 1974 First President (Nixon) to resign after impeachment hearings of Watergate 1979-1981 The Iran hostage crisis This was the 1970s! These were uncertain times as the end of the 1960’s closed out with a vengeance. 1969-1970 was a pivotal year for change as many people died from drug overdoses, including rock stars such as Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison. During these times, drugs and alcohol were out of control. Even the Manson murders were a result of a drug induced problem. The sign Virgo is a sign of regaining health, and during these times, this out of control behavior began to peak, resulting in a change in laws and behaviors to give back balance after such extremes. In 1977, the Betty Ford treatment center for alcohol and drug addiction came about in pursuit to find healing from the destruction of society and life from these killers. A new wave of eating healthy became more common and co-ops with attention to getting more fresh vegetables and fruit were a rage. Vegetarianism became another change in the western culture. Virgo is the sign of healing health issues, and during the 70s, large numbers of asbestos products were on the market, factories were polluting local neighborhoods and workers suffering heavy rates of exposure, which combined to cause general uproar. This necessary awareness helped to save many lives.
For the first time, the media began to reveal the truth about Presidents, as Nixon was under pressure for the illegal actions of Watergate. Hostilities began to rise with the Middle East, with the Iran contra crises and before that at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, by eight members of the Palestinian terrorist group Black September, who took nine members of the Israeli Olympic team hostage, after killing two of them previously, and killing them along with a West German police officer. Pluto in Libra October 1981 – December 1992 End of the Cold War, 1981-1992 1989 Berlin Wall that divided east from West Germany came down, destruction 1991 1987 Harmonic Convergence world's first synchronized global peace meditation 1981 -1989 Ronald Raegan President 1982 AIDS Virus Reaganomics promised to slash government spending and taxes to end stagflation and the 1980 recession. It worked, but at a cost. During the time Reagan was in office, his plans cost the country a recession. But after Reagan left office, the country saw one of its most economically prosperous times ever, and it is Reaganomics that is credited with building a strong foundation to make that growth possible. During this time, to add to the economic problems, there was a stock market crash. Pluto in Libra brought balance and peace to the world but it did take time. Libra is the great sign of balance and the peaceful events included the end of the Cold War, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the Harmonic Convergence. This period of time paved the way for some of the most prosperous times globally. The AIDS virus brought fear to the world, as no one understood at first how it was contracted or what caused it. It took many lives until a medicine was developed to control the virus. Libra is known to bring balance to the extremes of situations that are out of balance. The extremes of sexual misconduct was out
of control during this time, and Pluto in Libra found a way to bring a better balance to the world. Pluto in Scorpio January 1993 – December 2005 1993 First Attack on the New York World Trade Center 1993 – 2001 Bill Clinton President 2001 – 2009 Bush President Stock Market went high in late 90s 2001 terrorist attack on U.S.A. 2003 Settlements for sexual abuse of children with the Catholic Church This was the time extremists in all ways took off, including as Islamic radical terrorism. They made their first attack on the New York Trade buildings in 1993 and totally destroyed them in 2001. Pluto is the planet of power and destruction, and in the most extreme sign that is most affiliated with Pluto, this was one of the most destructive times in recent history. The U.S. government responded with immediate action (including rescue operations at the site of the World Trade Center and grounding civilian aircraft), and long-term action, including investigations, legislative changes, military action and restoration projects. Investigations into the motivations and execution of the attacks led to the declaration of War on Terrorism that lead to ongoing military engagements in Afghanistan and subsequently Iraq. Pluto in Scorpio and the nakshatra Jyeshta is one of the most potent signs and nakshatras because Scorpio is the 8th sign associated with the 8th house. This pertains to deep passionate beliefs in good and bad. Pluto and Scorpio rule extremes of all kinds and the stock market highs of the late 90s elevated all the .com stocks and technology to such an extreme bubble that many lost millions when the bubble burst. At the time Pluto was in Scorpio enhancing the extremes, don’t forget Uranus was conjunct Neptune, and technology took off. During this time, computers, cell phones, and social media dramatically changed the world forever.
Scorpio as the 8th sign and Pluto pertain to the dark secrets in sexuality. The uncovering of the truth behind all the sexual abuse with certain catholic priests with young boys was finally brought to the surface and began to be rectified. In July 2003, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville paid $25.7 million to “settle child sexual-abuse allegations made in 240 lawsuits naming 34 priests and other church workers.” In 2003, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston settled a large case for $85 million with 552 alleged victims. Pluto in Sagittarius January 2006 – December 2020 2008 stock market crashed with economic depression 2008 Bitcoin surfaced Social media dominates the world 2016 elections surprised the world 2019 Covid-19 The world is changing dramatically as Pluto not only is in Sagittarius but also transiting with Jupiter in 2019 and 2020. Sagittarius is the sign of extremes, especially in beliefs, and so many people have problems differentiating between truth and lies in the media. There are extremes in beliefs on both sides of the political views and both sides are extremely hostile. The 2016 U.S. elections caused an upheaval with many protests. In 2008, the U.S. stock market crashed, bringing the economy to a really low point, and it remained there for years after. But a new way of exchanging money was beginning at the time, known as cryptocurrency. This developed out of a desire to have a new way of exchanging money, creating shifts in the economy. The world came upon a new realization of a worldwide pandemic towards the end of 2019. The virus started spreading globally and caused a global shutdown. There is still no vaccine or cure as of this writing in Fall 2020. The nakshatra Mula in Sagittarius that Pluto is transiting in has caused so much destruction through the time Pluto has been in Sagittarius. Mula’s deity is Niritti which is the goddess of destruction. This is known to be a very difficult nakshatra. The only consolation is that the destruction tends to lead to a better
world. Pluto in Capricorn (November 1773 – January 1792) January 2020 – March 2039 1776 United States Constitution signed 1789 - 1797 George Washington U.S. First President George Washington was President April 30, 1789 – March 4, 1797. He freed America from the English with the help of the French. The Founding Fathers of the United States came to America to escape the dire religious judgments and horrific taxation of Europe. This was the new land of opportunity and new beginnings. It had a rough start but through perseverance and determination, the U.S. became a role model of opportunity around the world with a new founded democracy. Saturn is the ruling sign for Capricorn so Pluto in this sign gives added energy and boost to the country. Saturn is the sign of discipline and Pluto is a great power that can magnify more perseverance and determination to improve and make humanity a better world to live in, just as it did in the formative years of the United States. The Constitution of America was signed in 1776 and a new country was born. As Capricorn is the sign of Government while Pluto was in Capricorn, it actually began the government of the United States of America. This new beginning reveals that there will be another new beginning for the U.S. now beginning in 2020.
Chapter 4 Pluto in the Houses Pluto in the 1st house Pluto is a strong controlling force, therefore those who have Pluto on the Ascendant are very controlling. The closer Pluto is on the ascendant, the more controlling they are. They have to be in control of others and situations that give them control. They usually deny profoundly that they are controlling, because for some reason they cannot see it. They cannot stand to be controlled in any way. If they do not have control in any given situation, they will exhibit unusual behaviors that give a sense of control. They can become passive aggressive to get back at others they cannot control. There is a deep-seated anger of others who they view as controlling them or not granting them control. This can cause problems in relationships. Their partners, friends or family members must be submissive or they will make life very difficult for them. Manipulative behaviors dominate their lives in order to acquire a sense of control. It is very hard for them to surrender to this controlling power, mainly because they cannot see it. They can be great leaders but others don’t understand their inability to bend to and grant an understanding to others. Their controlling behaviors can take charge of their lives repelling others. Because of their controlling personalities, they experience deep loneliness because they do not understand why others are repelled or drawn away. The solution to life’s issues and problems here is to relinquish the need to be in control. This is not an easy undertaking, but the more one surrenders to others and their needs, the better life becomes, even granting them more control in a different and improved way. Pluto in the 2nd house There are difficulties in childhood that cause problems later dealing with self-esteem. Controlling parents take away their identity, telling them who they are based on their values, taking away their child’s unique identity and overpowering them. The lack of confidence produces a need to gain control.
This can produce an overcompensation of behaviors such as the power that money brings. They become obsessed with money and consume themselves with the independence and power of money. Because of the focus around money, they seem to attract great wealth and the control they crave. The power to control through money becomes a great temptation throughout life. Since the 2nd house rules the foods we eat, this placement can indicate eating disorders. The remedy here is to use money and the control it gives to empower others through giving others the tools to improve their lives. Giving back to family and society will improve others’ conditions. This will truly empower the lives of others. Pluto in the 3rd house The power in communication is realized and used throughout life. Learning and education are deeply valued since it gives the power to rise in the world. Computers, internet, social media, and videos are used to get attention and, of course, control. They can be powerful and thought-provoking writers. The written word is a way to attract the attention of others and direct the minds and emotions of others. They can be very talented as well, both with their hands and in sports. Growing up with controlling siblings causes issues in family matters early in life. Powerful siblings create conflict through issues of competition and jealousy. The competitive edge learned from siblings gives an intense drive for success, leading their drive to overpower others to get ahead. Using the power of their communication skills can help empower the world through education, and learning. This is a position that can change lives through knowledge and positive reinforcement. These individuals should be involved in coaching or motivational speaking. Pluto in the 4th house Family matters run deep with issues around a controlling mother. The mother struggles with issues around control. She may feel out of control due to lack of control within the marriage, exerting unusual ways to be more in control. This
can be seen in many ways, such as regimented rules, or drugs and alcohol, smoking, or even eating disorders. With these kinds of problems within the family, love and security is lacking. There seems to be no sense of security as life is uncertain and the inner fear of instability haunts them emotionally throughout their lives. A search for security controls their behavior in many ways. One way to give security is through land and real estate because this is a part of the base for home and family. They focus on beautiful homes and find the means to acquire this base of security. Being involved in real estate gives a sense of security, or working in family counseling or as a social worker. Above all else, issues around nurturing and a sense of family is what is needed. A healing on these issues brings happiness and fulfillment. Having their own family with love and caring is what will heal their lives. Pluto in the 5th house This is the house of the mind, intelligence, and creativity. Here, Pluto will give the realization of the power the mind has over others. The most positive result is when they immerse themselves into their creativity. They can create massive projects to reinvent themselves all the time. The power of this creative force consumes their mind throughout life, possibly resulting in obsessive compulsive behaviors. The power in co-creating is a major force in life. Their children can be very powerful but must be careful to not be overpowering. They may feel the need to be over controlling with their children, who may rebel going to extremes, possibly getting in trouble or getting involved in outrageous forms of rebellion. On the flip side, they may have very powerfully successful children. Being creative in ways that express who they are brings fulfillment. Working on projects that empower children are truly meaningful. Inspiring the creative aptitude in others is a way to heal and bring contentment. This is an important way to heal the relationship with their own children as well. Pluto in the 6th house
The 6th house is a competitive house which aligns well with the power of Pluto. There is a drive to overachieve and this gives a drive for success. There is a need to feel purpose and be of service in the world. Foods and nutrition can become an obsession with the belief that if you can control what you eat, you will be healthy. But the issue again revolves around issues of control that can consume the mind and behaviors in a negative way. The stress and extremes can be damaging to the health, such as anger or fear. This placement can produce extremes in dietary ways such as vegetarianism, fruitarianism, veganism, or actually any dietary ways that are extreme, constricted, or completely controlled. Sometimes illnesses can be used to exert a certain degree of control in life, such as getting sick to get out of work or just to get attention. Coming to a relaxed place with the habits around food and diet will bring a better way of life and more health. This means paying attention to not only the body but the mind, emotions, and spirit. Pluto in the 7th house This placement puts the focus on controlling partnerships or partners. This is a difficult placement for relationships because no one likes to be controlled. Many times, the controlling tactics are not so obvious, such as passive aggressive behavior. A passive aggressive partner will do many things to get back at their partner to control them. They may be continually late to special events or forget important dates to anger their partner, and these behaviors are often unconscious. But these unconscious acts continually build and can destroy a marriage if they are not brought to awareness. This can represent a very powerful marriage or business partner. But the sense of control can bring a sense of entitlement as well. This will have to be transformed into a partnership with an awareness of its psychological effects in order to work out. Relationships are truly a reflection of ourselves, so if we are seeing a partner who is ultra-controlling, we must come to realize there is a part of us that is controlling. If we recognize and change ourselves, this is how we can change the relationship and our partner. When we have expectations for others, we will always be disappointed. The only thing we do have control over is changing
ourselves. Pluto in the 8th house Pluto is at home in the 8th house, bringing forth the power to understand its psychological effects. This can be extremely powerful for an individual that is conscious and aware but can also be very destructive for those of low consciousness. Here, Pluto can bring out all the struggles with this house, such as addiction, sexual abuse, disgrace, and humiliation. There is a deep karmic need to overcome the dark issues of this house. This gives the need to delve deep into psychoanalysis, psychology, and metaphysics. This house is a window to other worlds and gives deep perceptions into the afterlife and the spirit world. They can be mystics, psychics, mediums and metaphysical. There is a deep need to understand human behavior and psychology. Deep research into matters that are of the most value in the fields of medicine or even detective work to find hidden and unresolved answers become an obsession for these individuals. This is a powerful placement for transformation as it can give profound deep realizations into healing life’s emotional problems, and if realized, it can give the gift of humility, which eliminates vast amounts of past karmas of the soul. Pluto in the 9th house There is a sense of control around beliefs (as in religion or spirituality). They may become fanatic, for they believe they can create a sense of control in the world if they can get others to believe their way. This actually gives them the sense that their beliefs are right when they can convince others, but actually means they are insecure in their own beliefs. They believe they are in control when part of a controlled religious group that follows all the rules. It is when they finally realize that many of the group leaders, priests, or gurus are not following the rules that their disappointment and issues around hypocrisy leads them to rebel against the religious rules and leaders. They become disillusioned with the world, searching for truth. There is disappointment in teachers and the father as they follow their lead,
only coming to realize they are not the powerful image they imagined them to be. The father can be very controlling, pushing them to escape in many rebellious ways. The realization and healing of this placement comes as one realizes to be true to themselves and to not be concerned with others’ beliefs. When they are secure with their own beliefs, others will not matter. This will heal the mind and soul. Pluto in the 10th house Career is a focus and their sense of power comes from success as they become the boss in their profession. They feel the need for importance in their work. They must be in control at work, and have issues with taking orders from others. They operate best when they are the boss, CEO, or own their own business. They like to take charge and obsess with the work demands, often becoming a workaholic. Their importance and sense of self comes from their work titles. This is their identity. They are difficult to work for as they can make unrealistic demands on others in the workplace. They expect others to make their job their life as it is for them. Starting out, they attract others that are controlling and this creates a clash, as they need to be in the place of control. They may seem to go from job to job always blaming their boss for the issues created in the position, not ever realizing it is their inability to take orders or direction. The power to give others control and share responsibilities realizing their opinions matter in the workplace will heal issues and problems in business and improve business and growth. Pluto in the 11th house There is an aspiration to achieve a better society as they are concerned with world affairs and humanity. This drive is actually based on the fact that they really want to control the way things are run worldwide. Politicians and world leaders can have this obsession to control and change the world. This issue concerns the fact that they don’t like to see the world and conditions being
controlled by others. They are bothered by the politics of others and the problems that plague the world. They feel they have the answers to fix the ailing problems of society. Their sentiments may be well intentioned but it actually stems from a need to control others and the world. They seem to attract others who exert their issues of control onto them. They become involved with organizations to save the planet and join forces with friends who mirror their controlling ways. Their friendships seem to dissolve due to issues that surround a difference in opinions with politics or world reform. They cannot be friends with those that don’t share their passion in world change but what they do not realize is that they actually want to be the one in control. Growing up with controlling older siblings can be the cause of the need to be in control. Being understanding of world matters and knowing there is a Divine Force that always promotes order through nature in the world can bring a sense of relief and calm that there will always be healing, even if there needs to be destruction. Pluto in the 12th house This is the house that pertains to the collective unconscious referring to our transcendence from this life. This is also the house of letting go of anything we are apt to want to control. Pluto in this house can bring up all our issues of control to release them. This is the house of the past and Pluto can cause one to be attached to the many resentments from the past. As we remain attached to issues of injustice in the world, we stay stuck with anger and rage. Pluto here can indicate deep-seated rage and anger that can control our reactions to events in our lives. The trick here is to be able to come to a place of release, acceptance, and forgiveness. When there is a surrender and acceptance to the things of the past we cannot change, a transformation begins that heals the past and the deepseated karmas of the soul. The realization that one can never be in control of anything, especially others in our lives, gives a sense of feeling out of control almost like drowning in life’s events. The more one tries to control, the more they become out of control, and this leads one to the ultimate realization to let go and let God. This is when one
realizes the only force that has control is the Divine. This is a placement of ultimate surrender.
Chapter 5 Pluto Conjunct or Opposed Natal Planets Pluto Conjunct or Opposed the Sun The Sun is our life force in a chart and represents our spirit. When the Sun is conjunct Pluto, it tempers the entire being in a way that affects the entire vibration and how an individual feels and reacts to life’s experiences. Pluto is all encompassing and an individual feels a powerful energy with Pluto aspecting the Sun. There is a heavy feeling of power and control that radiates from the person’s aura. Pluto gives intense and passionate emotions like the sign Scorpio, and a controlling power exudes from them. There is a multi-dimensional feeling of profound depth. They feel deeply but have trouble expressing the depths of their feelings. The father can be very controlling since the Sun rules the father. A controlling father can cause emotional issues as they try to regain a sense of control in their own lives. It distracts from their own self-identity. Pluto’s energy concerns the collective unconsciousness of the masses, and many times, these individuals have a profound effect on the masses as to major events that affect the world historically.
Marie Curie was a Polish-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person and the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields. Her achievements include the development of the theory of “radioactivity” techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two elements – polonium and radium. Under her direction, the world’s first studies were
conducted into the treatment of neoplasms using radioactive isotopes. During World War I, she developed mobile radiography units to provide Xray services to field hospitals. Curie has Pluto in opposition to the Sun flanked between the 5th and 11th houses. As Pluto was discovered, the advent of atomic and nuclear energy came into the world. She made major contributions to the world of science as a pioneer with her research. Interestingly, her Sun is so closely tied with the energy of Pluto, she discovered the energy ruled by Pluto. She also died as a result of her exposure to the radiation in her research. The Sun in the 11th house pertains to the affects her discovery gave to the world. The 11th house is the house of the masses and humanity as the Sun is closely tied to the power of Pluto. As Pluto is in the 5th house of the mind and intelligence, she was profoundly intelligent and her discovery made a huge difference that changed the world. The Sun, as it is empowered with the power of Pluto, in Libra Venus is the dispositor of the Sun and sits in the 12th house with Saturn, Mars and Mercury. All four planets are in the profound sign Scorpio. Often those who do extensive research as professors have many 12th house planets as they spend extensive time alone in deep study. The nakshatra (Vishakha) dispositor of the Sun is Jupiter which resides in the 3rd house of learning and education and her entire life was dedicated to learning and education. Furthermore, the Sun rules the 9th house of higher learning, teaching, and professors. Pluto empowers Curie with the depth of learning and intelligence that she brought to the world with her incredible profound discoveries in science. Her Pluto was in Aries the sign of new beginnings and she was the first woman to win a Nobel prize. Also, the nakshatra Bharani that Pluto is in represents the first to do something as the god Yama (god of death) is the ruler of this nakshatra and he was the first god to become human and go through the death process. Bharani means the first to do something!
Aaron Hernandez was an American football star for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) and he was also a convicted murderer. Hernandez’s career came to an abrupt end in 2013 after his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd. Recognized as an All-American at the University of Florida, Hernandez was drafted by the Patriots in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
During the 2013 off-season, Hernandez was arrested and charged for the murder of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional player who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée. Following his arrest, Hernandez was immediately released by the Patriots. He was found guilty of first-degree murder in 2015 and sentenced to serve life in prison without the possibility of parole. While on trial for Lloyd’s murder, he was also indicted for the 2012 double homicide of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, but he was acquitted after a 2017 trial. Days after being acquitted of the double homicide, Hernandez was found dead in his cell. His death was ruled as a suicide by hanging. Hernandez’s father pushed him to excel through sports, but was often abusive. The beatings Hernandez’s father gave him were sometimes without reason or were alcohol-related, but often came when their father believed he was not trying hard enough in school or athletics. Hernandez lived in constant fear of his father but also revered him. When Hernandez was 16, his father died from complications from hernia surgery. According to his mother, He was greatly affected by his father’s death, and he acted out his grief by rebelling against authority figures. Those who knew him said he never got over his father’s death. The Sun is in the 5th house less than one-degree conjunct Pluto. The 5th house does pertain to the mind and intelligence and this alludes to the power of his body, mind and spirit as a professional athlete. The 5th house actually rules sports. His chart is a perfect testament of the power of the outer planets in terms of their controlling influence over a life as he has Pluto conjunct the Sun, Saturn conjunct Neptune, and Venus conjunct Uranus all within a degree. Hernandez’s issues with his father are seen with the conjunction of Sun with Pluto, but the combination of the Sun Pluto with the ruler of the ascendant Mercury gives him even more transformative power with Pluto. The addition of Mars with these planets gives these planets an intensity that can make or break him, and it did both. Mars is the planet that gives athletic power but it can also rule anger and violence, which definitely controlled his life. He was very talented as the Sun rules the 3rd house indicating his talent and agility with sports, as the 3rd house
rules the hands. Another significant aspect to this chart is that the sign dispositor of the Sun is Venus, which resides in the 7th house of relationships with Uranus. This conjunction in the 7th house indicates unusual unconventional relationships and one of his male high school friends revealed that he had a gay relationship with him for years. This was a secret Hernandez wanted kept hidden but was revealed as investigations continued from his convictions. Also, with Saturn exactly conjunct Neptune in the 7th house, there is a totally unrealistic attitude around relationships being in the 7th house. The violence and deep-seated issues of his life surrounds the issues with his father with the Sun as the karaka of the father conjunct Pluto, and the chart ruler Mercury and Mars – the planet of energy, anger and violence. Referring to his childhood, which definitely formed the inconsistencies of his life, he has Ketu in the 2nd house (house of childhood) and the ruling planet of the 2nd house is the Moon which resides in the 8th house of deep psychological changes and perverse mental attitudes. Here is the truth of what directed his life along with the power of Pluto conjunct his Sun, indicating his issues with his father.
Another cultural icon that had a powerful effect on the world is Michael Jackson, who also has Pluto conjunct the Sun in the 4th house of family. His family definitely had a powerful effect on his life, particularly his father. In this case, his father had the most influence since the Sun (as indicator of the father) is also in the 4th house of the family. Jackson also had a major influence on society and the world since the all three outer planets aspect sensitive personal planets – Pluto conjunct the Sun, Jupiter conjunct Neptune, and Uranus conjunct Venus. The 3rd house actually rules the creative mind and is the house of actors, artists, and entertainers. This is an amazing indication of his creative entertaining skills. The Moon as the sign dispositor of Venus and Neptune in Cancer is in the10th house, which indicates fame, as the Moon represents the masses and public and the 10th house is profession and career. Uranus conjunct Venus indicates unusual and unconventional relationships. Neptune conjunct Jupiter gives a very creative and imaginative mind, and he was an amazing musical artist and entertainer. He never really married except for a publicity stunt where he married Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Jackson dealt with many sexual accusations with young boys as he invited them for sleep overs in his mansion and amusement parks. Many came forward with allegations as they got older.
The Pluto, Sun conjunction in his 4th house of home and family tells the likelihood of some unsuspecting control issues around his own family and home, actually pointing the finger to his father. Jackson spoke at length about his complicated relationship with his late father. Before his death in 2009, he recounted how his father had abused him, both verbally and physically, when he was growing up. His father expected his sons to sing perfectly in the music group that he created, The Jackson Five, no matter how often they rehearsed. They would perform for him and as he critiqued them, he would hit them, sometimes with a belt, and sometimes with a switch. Pluto placed with the Sun in the 4th house threatens his sense of family security. His father had affairs and controlled the entire family like a tyrant. The Sun is in nakshatra Magha which indicates rulers or leaders as they were kings in the entertainment field, but as Ketu rules Magha and Ketu is the nakshatra dispositor placed in the 11th house of humanity, his fame was notorious worldwide. But the 11th house also relates to the older siblings who were also a part of the fame and recognition. So many people that make a connection with the mass consciousness and their name lives beyond their death have outer planets tightly conjunct personal planets in their charts.
Sharon Tate was the beautiful actress that was brutally killed on Aug. 9, 1969. Tate and four others were murdered by members of the Manson Family in the home she shared with her husband. At the time of her death, she was eightand-a-half months pregnant with the couple’s son. Her husband, Roman Polansky, a film producer, was in Europe at the time, filming a movie. He was accused initially but soon the sinister truth unfolded about Charles Manson. The home the couple recently bought was owned by the Beach Boys’ manager, Terry Melcher, who knew Manson briefly. Manson had high hopes of becoming a famous recording artist but Melcher expressed his dislike for Manson. This was believed to be the target of the Manson murders. But what many do not know is that Melcher’s mother, famous movie star Doris Day, had an undeniable bad premonition that her son needed to move from his home. She insisted that he move and as he did, Sharon Tate and Roman Polansky moved in right before the murders occurred. As expected, Tate has planets in the 8th house of death, and Pluto opposes the Sun and Mercury. Mercury is the chart ruler with a Gemini ascendant, and the Sun and Mercury indicate her physical body. The ascendant rules the physical body and the Sun is the spirit and karaka of the physical body. Planets Sun, Mercury and Venus in the 8th house give her a profound sexuality emanating as charisma, but on the darker side, they also indicate death.
The dispositing planet of the planets in the 8th house in Capricorn is Saturn which sits in the 12th house with Uranus. This represents great loss and Uranus indicates an event that is unexpected and sudden around the death. The 12th house also rules secret enemies as in thieves and hidden attacks. Venus in Capricorn and Saturn in Taurus exchange signs linking the 8th and the 12th houses. This can indicate great losses around a sudden death. Pluto in the 2nd house, a maraka house. This May have caused her death but more importantly has a direct aspect to the two planets that rule her physical body, Sun and Mercury. Pluto Conjunct or Opposed the Moon The Moon represents our mind and consciousness. Therefore, Pluto with the Moon will deeply affect the way we feel about the world. Pluto is deep and profound, indicating that this individual feels deeply and profoundly in every aspect of their life. There is a need for security and all aspects of life that give security are pursued intensely. To have financial security means they have achieved control in life and this is a mark of their success. Emotionally they feel they must be in control of their feelings, never letting out the deep sense of insecurity felt within. It is very hard for them to express their feelings, for this could be a sign of weakness and show a lack of being in complete control. Since the Moon rules the mother, the mother must have been controlling in some way and this set the tone of always needing to feel free from those who exert any sense of control onto others. They can be a ticking time bomb with explosive outbursts, especially if they feel controlled or if they feel they have lost a sense of their control in life.
Karen Carpenter was an American singer and drummer who, along with her older brother, Richard, were part of the duo – the Carpenters. She was praised for her 3-octave contralto vocal range. Her drumming abilities were viewed positively by other musicians and critics. Her struggles with eating disorders would later raise awareness of anorexia and body dysmorphia. Briefly married in the early 1980s, she suffered from anorexia nervosa, and there was little-known about this condition at the time. Her death from heart failure at age 32, related to complications of her illness, led to increased
visibility and awareness of eating disorders. Her work continues to attract praise, including being listed among Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest singers of all time. Her mother was known among her musical acquaintances as the dragon lady. At Karen’s worst, her family insisted she had no emotional problems and that her ‘over dieting’ was something they could sort out by themselves. Emotional problems were the cause of her eating disorder, her mother’s inability to show love and affection was paramount. She was adored by millions, but it was her mother’s love she never received. Her mother was intensely overbearing and controlling, as can be seen with Pluto conjunct the Moon in the 2nd house. The Moon is not only closely conjunct Pluto, but it is intensified by being in Cancer which rules the Moon. I find that the Moon in Cancer drastically magnifies the areas it rules. Interestingly, the 2nd house rules early family life as well as the mouth. This means it rules what goes into the mouth, as well as what comes out of the mouth. So, it rules our voice and the foods we eat. All these variables are affected profoundly with Pluto conjunct the Moon in the 2nd house. She had a magnificent voice which gave her great wealth, as the 2nd house is the ability to make money. Additionally, her family life was very controlled as her stage mother pushed her to success. Her mother’s problems are also seen with Mars in the 4th house with Ketu and Neptune. This indicates a problematic homelife with many secrets that are ignored. Mars and Ketu point to a difficult mother, and the lack of security from both the home and the mother. Furthermore, Mars and Ketu are in the sign of Virgo which is typically concerned with perfection, as well as diet and weight issues. Mars, Ketu and Neptune are also in the 3rd house from the Moon, indicating her musical talents. Houses 3 and 5 are associated with talent and entertaining. Mars in the 3rd house from the Moon also rules the 5th house from the Moon. Her musical talents are seen through the nakshatra that rules the Moon and Pluto, Ashlesha which is ruled by Mercury. Mercury and Jupiter are in the nakshatra Dhanishta which this nakshatra’s symbol is a drum. Interestingly, this was her first talent – playing the drums and music.
Carpenter tried to call off her wedding right before as her fiancé lied about having a vasectomy and she desperately wanted children, but her mother wouldn’t allow it. Her mother said friends and family were already traveling and she had already paid for the wedding. So, Carpenter went through with it. Her marriage to Burris was a disaster. She assumed he had his own money as he drove flashy cars, but it became apparent that he was broke. He spent her money, asking for anything up to $50,000 at a time until she had nothing but investments left. He was cruel and impatient with her, calling her a “bag of bones” and telling her he would never have a child with her. She filed for divorce in 1981. Pluto is aspecting her Venus, Jupiter and Mercury in the 8th house. Jupiter is ruler of the 7th house of marriage and is in the 8th house of disgrace, death and endings, plus Jupiter is tightly opposed Pluto. Pluto gave her great power opposed Jupiter, but it actually destroyed her as well. The main issue with Carpenter’s chart is the fact that Pluto rules control, and in her 2nd house she believed that she could be in control by controlling her eating. This was the only control she had in her life because essentially, she felt completely out of control in all of her relationships. This is the hardest issue concerning Pluto because there is a need to be in control, and if out of control, this need makes one spiral out of control all the more. Carpenter wanted control in the area of love and relationships and found the only way she could feel any sense of control was to control the only thing she could – eating and her weight, and in essence, the more she starved herself, the more out of control she became. Carpenter has Uranus exactly conjunct her Ascendant. Uranus is the outer planet of unexpected events throughout life, and her death came as a surprise. Those who have tight aspects with the outer planets have life changing events, and many times their lives have major effects on the mass consciousness of the world. Their lives and death have long range effects on the world. Carpenter actually raised consciousness and awareness about eating disorders and the psychological destruction that can ensue as a result.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period. Mozart showed prodigious ability from early childhood. Already competent on piano and violin, he composed from the age of 5 and performed before European royalty. At 17, Mozart was a musician at the Salzburg court, but he grew restless and traveled in search of a better position. While visiting Vienna in 1781, he was dismissed from his Salzburg position. He chose to stay in the capital, where he achieved fame but little financial security. During his final years in Vienna, he composed many of his best-
known symphonies, concertos, and operas, and portions of the Requiem, which was largely unfinished at the time of his early death at the age of 35. The circumstances of his death have been much mythologized. His meteoric rise to fame and accomplishment at a very early age is reminiscent of more contemporary musical artists whose star burned out way too soon. At the time of his death, Mozart was considered one of the greatest composers of all time. His work influenced many composers that followed, most notably Beethoven. Along with his friend Joseph Haydn, Mozart conceived and perfected the grand forms of symphony, opera, string ensemble, and concerto that marked the classical period. Mozart has Pluto exactly conjunct the Moon in the 4th house, which is the house of home, family and is also considered the house of the seat of power, as the 4th house throws its light to the 10th house of fame and social standing. The nakshatra of the Moon and Pluto is Jyeshtha, which is a very powerful nakshatra for the acquisition of wealth. As he was not born into high society, he did acquire wealth and was able to mingle with kings and queens. Visiting his home in Salzburg, I remember it was told that in his day, no one took baths, as they believed it could bring on colds and death, as many died of viruses and colds. But his mother insisted on taking baths regularly, which was unheard of in his day. This was probably the powerful Pluto conjunct Moon in the 4th house, indicating the control of the mother. The dispositor of the Nakshatra Jyeshta is Mercury and Mercury is in the 6th house with both the Sun and Saturn, which is not a good indicator for his health. One malefic in the 6th house can boost the health, but more than one can destroy health. He was sickly throughout his life, dying early from unknown causes, and the frequent baths were assumed to be a contributor at the time. The Moon in Scorpio is considered debilitated as it is full of drive and passion but can cause emotional problems. The sign dispositor of Pluto and Moon in Scorpio is Mars, and Mars in the 11th house of friends and influential people represents great connections and attributes towards wealth through others. His talent is seen better from Chandra Lagna (Moon as the ascendant), as Mercury, Sun and Saturn are in the 3rd house from the Moon. Jupiter rules the 5th
house from the Moon and it aspects the three planets in the 3rd house. Neptune can represent great talent beyond this world as it also aspects Mercury, Sun and Saturn. Here is another indicator of the power of the outer planets indicating extremes, and the indication of how an individual will affect many generations to come, because they affect the mass consciousness. Like Carpenter, Mozart has Uranus exactly aspecting the ascendant by opposition.
Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin was a Russian mystic and self-proclaimed holy man who befriended the family of Emperor Nicholas II, the last monarch of Russia, and gained considerable influence in late imperial Russia. Rasputin was born to a peasant family in a Siberian village. He had a religious conversion experience after taking a pilgrimage to a monastery in 1897. He has been described as a monk though he held no official position in the Russian Orthodox Church. He traveled to St. Petersburg in 1903 or the winter of 1904–05, where he captivated some church and social leaders. He became a society figure and met the Tsar and Tsarina Alexandra in November 1905. In late 1906, Rasputin began acting as a healer for the only son of Tsar Nicholas II, Alexei, who suffered from hemophilia. He was a divisive figure at court, seen by some Russians as a mystic, visionary, and prophet, and by others as a religious charlatan. The high point of Rasputin’s power was in 1915 when Nicholas II left St. Petersburg to oversee Russian armies fighting World War I, increasing both Alexandra and Rasputin's influence. Russian defeats mounted during the war, however, and both Rasputin and Alexandra became increasingly unpopular. In the early morning of 30 December 1916, Rasputin was assassinated by a group of conservative noblemen who opposed his influence over Alexandra and the Tsar. Historians call Alexei's recovery “one of the most mysterious episodes of the whole Rasputin legend.” The cause of his recovery is unclear. Massie speculated that Rasputin’s suggestion not to let doctors disturb Alexei had aided his recovery by allowing him to rest and heal, or that his message may have aided Alexei’s recovery by calming Alexandra and reducing the emotional stress on Alexei. Alexandra, however, believed that Rasputin had performed a miracle, and concluded that he was essential to Alexei’s survival. Some writers and historians claim that Rasputin stopped Alexei’s bleeding on other occasions through hypnosis. To kill Rasputin, some conservative noblemen offered him cakes which had been laced with cyanide. Rasputin initially refused the cakes but then began to eat them and he did not appear to be affected by the poison. Rasputin then asked for some Madeira wine (which had also been poisoned) and drank three glasses, but still showed no sign of distress. Then the conspirators took a revolver and
told Rasputin that he’d “better look at the crucifix and say a prayer,” then shot him once in the chest. They left but later returned to the Palace basement to ensure that Rasputin was dead. Suddenly, Rasputin leapt up and attacked him. Rasputin followed and made it into the palace’s courtyard before being shot by Purishkevich and collapsing into a snowbank. The conspirators then wrapped his body in cloth, drove it to the Petrovsky Bridge, and dropped it into the Malaya Nevka River. Rasputin has his Moon conjunct Pluto in the 7th house in Aries. The 7th house rules others as in close relationships. The sign dispositor of the Moon and Pluto is Mars in the 11th house of influential people. He held influence over the most powerful family in Russia. The nakshatra they are in is Bharani which is a very powerful nakshatra indicating the first to do something and Rasputin was in control of powerful people. It was assumed that he had great powers – maybe he did, or maybe just the powers of persuasion, nevertheless he was very powerful. Furthermore, Pluto and the Moon aspect the ascendant. His chart is another extreme example of how the outer planets indicate an individual that had a great influence on the masses. As he is referenced throughout history and had an effect on events in history. All three of the outer planets are significantly influenced in his chart as they are involved in some very specific unique aspects that can contribute to his amazing life story. He has very specific degrees of 22, and he was even born on the 22 day of the month which is a master number. He had many very powerful aspects in his chart called a Yod. A Yod is when there are two planets in sextile (60 degrees or 3/11) from each other and there is a third planet that is in a quincunx aspect (150 degrees) to both. The sextile is when two planets are in a 3/11 relationship, meaning 3 signs away from each other. The quincunx is when two planets are in a 6/8 relationship, meaning 6 and 8 signs away from each other. So, these three planets, in a sense, form a Y in the chart. The Yod has been referred to as the finger of god and occurs in some very difficult but life changing events. It is extreme and rare to have them in exact degrees as Rasputin has in his chart. First Yod is Saturn and Mercury in a sextile and both are in a quincunx with Uranus (Uranus and Mercury both 22 degrees). Second Yod is Pluto/Moon and Uranus in a sextile and both quincunx Saturn.
Third Yod (not as tight) Mercury in a sextile with Neptune both quincunx Mars. All these Yods involving the outer planets amount to an individual with transformative powers that had an effect on humanity, and these individuals with planets aspecting the outer planets exactly are legendary and their names live on long after their death. They have a powerful effect on the masses and are historic. He has Jupiter conjunct Neptune in the 6th house which can most definitely indicate powers as a healer, especially in Pisces, which magnifies both Jupiter and Neptune. Even Mercury conjunct Ketu in the 4th house indicates healing powers and psychic abilities. The most amazing aspect of all in this chart is the power of Pluto as it conjuncts the Moon. Rasputin’s chart is a powerful example of the effects of the outer planets, especially Pluto. Pluto Conjunct or Opposed Mercury Mercury rules the thinking mind and how we process our thoughts. It also has rulership over all forms of communication and how we connect to others. This rules how we think and translate information to others as in writing, talking, all forms of media (as in social media, television, telephones, radio and mail). Furthermore, it pertains to how we are connected to others through travel and sales, in fact, the word mercantile comes from Mercury. Mercury is the messenger in mythology and rules all forms of travel, shipping and transport. It also rules learning and education defining intelligence in a chart, especially when it is in its sign of exaltation, Virgo. When Mercury is conjunct or opposed Pluto, the area of the processing and thinking mind can be very deep, probing, and intensely profound. But with these attributes, the mind can become consumed with power and tends to be controlling and obsessive. Obsessive thoughts can take one down the rabbit hole of an obsessive mind. They will have thoughts of how to control everything in their life, sometimes spiraling everything out of control if not careful.
Abraham Lincoln was an American statesman and lawyer who served as the 16th president of the United States (1861–1865). Lincoln led the nation through its greatest moral, constitutional, and political crisis in the American Civil War. He preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the U.S. economy. Lincoln was born in poverty in a log cabin and was raised on the frontier, primarily in Indiana. He was self-educated and became a lawyer, Whig Party leader, Illinois state legislator, and U.S. Congressman from Illinois. Lincoln ran for President in 1860, sweeping the North in victory. Proslavery elements in the South equated his success with the North's rejection of their right to practice slavery, and southern states began seceding from the union. To secure its independence, the new Confederate States fired on Fort Sumter, a U.S. fort in the South, and Lincoln called up forces to suppress the rebellion and restore the Union. Lincoln managed his own successful re-election campaign. He sought to reconcile the war-torn nation by exonerating the secessionists. On April 14, 1865, just days after the war's end at Appomattox, Lincoln was attending the play Our American Cousin at Ford’s Theatre with his wife, Mary, when he was
assassinated by Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth. His marriage had produced four sons, two of whom preceded him in death, with severe emotional impact upon them and Mary. Lincoln is remembered as the United States’ martyr hero, and he is consistently ranked as the greatest U.S. president in history. The power of Pluto or any of the three outer planets when placed in a strong position means they will be remembered beyond their time for the effects they had in the world. Lincoln has Pluto conjunct Mercury in Aquarius in his 1st house, indicating his power for transformation, even to his own demise or death. Aquarius is the sign that represents humanity and he made immense changes that affected the future of humanity. Mercury as the planet of the thinking mind represents his far reaching and transpersonal way of thinking. This all affected his persona and character being in his 1st house. Mercury rules his 5th house of the mind, intelligence and children. In terms of his mind, Lincoln was a profound and deep thinker, as Pluto influences the mind in a probing deep way. But as the 5th house rules children, Pluto can be a bringer of death, and he lost two of his children, causing great sorrow to him and his wife. Mercury also rules the 8th house of death combined with the 5th house ruler of children tightly conjunct Pluto can have deadly effects on the children. Mercury is the planet that takes in the effects of Pluto with its tight conjunction in the nakshatra Shatabhishak which is ruled by Rahu, and Rahu conjunct Mars is intensely dangerous. Mars and Rahu are in Libra in the 9th house of law, spirituality and truth and he was a leader who spoke his truth as Mars and Rahu are in Libra ruled by Venus. Venus is in the 2nd house of the voice and speech, and whenever the ruler of the 9th is in the 2nd house, they speak the truth. But since it is aggressive Mars and Rahu is in the 9th house, many did not appreciate his truth seeking at the time. Venus in the 2nd house of speech and voice is exalted in Pisces with Jupiter. Jupiter expands planets it aspects, and in Pisces, it is even more powerful. This Venus and Jupiter in Pisces reveals that he speaks and honors the truth. Furthermore, the 2nd house represents wealth and money, in which he became
extremely wealthy as the President of the United States, even though he was born in poverty. Mars rules his 10th house and is in the 9th house, indicating a career pertaining to the law, as the 9th house is the house of the legal process and lawyers and he was a lawyer, Whig Party leader, Illinois state legislator, and U.S. Congressman from Illinois, and President. His Mars with Rahu and Uranus represents his unconventional and forward thinking that changed the country and changed the world. The sign dispositor of Mercury, Sun, and Pluto is Saturn which is disposited in the 10th house of the career and reputation. With Saturn and Neptune closely conjunct in the 10th house, he made the unreal a reality. Neptune is the illusion, but when it is conjunct Saturn, it brings reality. Lincoln was ahead of his time, but he knew the reality of the truth that all men were created equal, and he brought forth the transformation that needed to occur in these dark times where only the ignorant could not conceive of his forward thinking. His Saturn is incredibly strong being in the nakshatra Anuradha as this nakshatra rules is ruled by Saturn. His natal Moon is in the 12th house of secret enemies, meaning he had many enemies throughout life, and in Capricorn its dispositor is Saturn in the 10th house representing enemies in his career or social position, in other words, the government. His Moon is harmed not only by being in the 12th house of loss but also by both malefic Mars and Saturn aspecting the Moon. On the day of Lincoln’s assassination, transiting Saturn and Rahu were conjunct in Libra on his natal Mars and Rahu. Saturn was almost exact! If this wasn’t enough, Mars’ sign dispositor is Venus and Venus in the 2nd house, a maraka house, which means killer indicating death. The two maraka houses are 2 and 7, and planets ruling these houses or in these houses are maraka planets which can indicate death. But the most significant aspect at the time of his death, aside from transiting Saturn and Rahu, on his natal Mars is transiting Neptune was exactly on his natal Venus in the 2nd house. John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. on April 14, 1865. Booth was also a Confederate sympathizer who, denouncing President Lincoln, lamented the recent abolition of slavery in the
United States. Booth was someone who was unforeseen, which is definitely Neptune. Neptune rules things we cannot see. When someone of great importance is killed and has an emotional effect on the collective masses of people, the outer planets are involved in their death. Venus in Uttara Bhadrapada (symbol is a funeral cot) is ruled by Saturn and Saturn is in the 10th house of his public image, career, government, and fame. His death was a public event that changed the world.
Harry S. Truman, president of the United States from 1945 to 1953, succeeding upon the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt after serving as vice president. Roosevelt and Truman were elected in November 1944, and Truman took the oath of office on January 20, 1945. He served as vice president just 82 days before Roosevelt died of a massive stroke, and he was sworn in as president on April 12, 1945, just four months before making the dire decision to bomb Japan with nuclear warheads which coincide with many reports of unidentified flying objects. The next President following Truman was Dwight D. Eisenhower and both have been known to have great interest and connections to the Roswell crash of 1947.
In 1947 there was an alleged crash and recovery of an alien spacecraft outside Roswell, New Mexico. Soon after, President Harry Truman instructed Secretary of Defense James Forrestal to set up Operation Majestic Twelve – a blue-ribbon, top-secret panel headed by Vannever Bush, a leading Manhattan Project figure and creator of the Memex machine, and a forerunner of the modern-day computer. Researchers contend that the MJ-12 committee eventually brokered a sit-down between space aliens and President Dwight D. Eisenhower, during which an agreement was reached to enable alien studies of human biology via abductions and animal mutilations in exchange for use of
extraterrestrial “black” technology that would lead to developments like the B-2 “Stealth Bomber.” Later, it was suggested that John Kennedy’s threat to reveal the MJ-12 alien negotiations was the prime reason for his assassination. The astrological investigation using the transit of all three of the outer planets reveals that they are powerfully placed at these transformational times in humanity but also in the charts of those individuals that have a connection and a destiny to these events that transform the world. The astrological charts of both Presidents involved in the time periods of when the most UFO activity became apparent on Earth, and the charts indicate their involvement in something profound occurring in their lives. Pluto is important, as it is the planet that rules nuclear energy. President Truman’s chart is fascinating because Pluto is conjunct his Mercury in the 9th house, meaning he had to make decisions that changed the course of the world as he pulled the trigger on the bombing of Hiroshima. Mercury is the planet of the thinking mind, plus it rules the ascendant (chart ruler) and the 10th house of his career as the U.S. President. Of course, his Mercury is between Pluto and Saturn indicating the seriousness of his decisions as a world leader. Additionally, he has his Sun tightly conjunct Neptune in his 8th house of secrecy and scandalous affairs. He came into power at the most extreme time under the worst conditions when the President died unexpectedly making him President, then making the decision to bomb Hiroshima which ended World War II. On the first day of the bombing of Japan transiting Mars and Uranus was in Truman’s 9th house conjoining his planets Pluto, Mercury and Saturn. This was a very serious decision. On that fateful day, transiting Pluto was conjunct the Sun and conjunct Truman’s natal Jupiter and Mars in Cancer. His exalted Jupiter conjunct debilitated Mars is extremely powerful as the exaltation of Jupiter lifts the debilitated Mars and represents leadership and power. Whenever an exalted planet conjoins a debilitated planet the exaltation cancels the debilitation. The chart for the first bombing is quite telling as in 1945 Rahu is in Gemini in the nakshatra Ardra which has notoriously always indicated extreme and dire events for the U.S. Rahu was in Gemini in Ardra in the 2001 9/11 attack, in 1982 during the AIDS Virus, and in1963 during President Kennedy’s assassination, to
name a few. But on this day to make things grimmer Saturn, Venus, and the Moon were with Rahu in Gemini. The three outer planets were activated too with Mars with Uranus indicating violence. Pluto is with the Sun indicating this fated day for explosive events, and Neptune is with Jupiter meaning secrets and deception as there were two bombs dropped on Japan and a threat that a third one would be dropped. The Japanese surrendered, but the U.S. called their bluff because they did not have a third bomb. The very mystical and difficult aspect on this day that cannot go unnoticed is Pluto and Mars are in a sextile (3 signs away) and both form a quincunx (150 degrees aspect 6 signs away) to Ketu. This is the Yod aspect, “the finger of god.” And, in this case, Rahu is the midpoint or called the focal point of the yod. This indicates the profound destiny associated with this destruction. It changed the world forever! Amazingly where Rahu sits at 15 degrees of Gemini is the natal position of Jupiter in the chart for the United States. But then another entire host of events began that Truman had to remain silent about, and this involves the UFO and alien contact leading to the Roswell crash. As the UFO activity began to drastically increase after the bombing of Japan many suspect that the aliens are trying to stop us from destroying ourselves. Here is an excerpt from an article from a Daily Mail article in the U.K., “Why Have There Been So Many UFO Sightings Near Nuclear Facilities” by Adam Janos. “Aliens came to Earth to stop a nuclear war between America and Russia, according to the bizarre claim of a former astronaut. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, says high-ranking military officials witnessed alien ships during weapons tests throughout the 1940s. The UFOs, he says, were spotted hovering over the world's first nuclear weapons test which took place on July 16, 1945 in the desolate White Sands deserts of New Mexico. The Nasa veteran has regularly spoken about his belief in aliens ever since he landed on the surface of the moon during the Apollo 14 mission in 1971. They wanted to know about our military capabilities. 'My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been
attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.' Dr. Mitchell says stories from people who manned missile bases during the 20th Century back up his claims. UFO believers say it's no coincidence that aliens showed up very shortly after we'd developed atomic weapons and rocket technology, as this is when they were alerted to the threat we pose to the wider cosmos.” Here is more on current events occurring: “All of the nuclear facilities—Los Alamos, Livermore, Sandia, Savannah River—all had dramatic incidents where these unknown craft appeared over the facilities and nobody knew where they were from or what they were doing there,” says investigative journalist George Knapp, who has studied the UAPnuclear connection for more than 30 years. Knapp has gathered documentation by filing Freedom of Information Act requests to the departments of defense and energy.” Looking further into the chart of the Roswell crash the connections to the two presidents associated with this event and the U.S, chart have uncanny connections. The Roswell crash chart marks the day associations with aliens began. On that day, the Sun is conjunct the Sun on the USA chart. But the most telling aspect here is that on that day Mars and Rahu are conjunct in Taurus and transiting Rahu on that day was exactly on Truman’s natal Pluto. To be specific to this day there must be exact aspects and there is another involving another outer planet that concerns a new beginning in technology that could have come from another world. On the day of the crash Uranus is 0 degrees Gemini and Uranus is the same degree of Mars in the U.S. chart 0 degrees Gemini. Mars is the planet of machinery. But the most notable indication relative to the Crash chart and the U.S. chart is that the Moon on that day is conjunct the Moon in the U.S. chart. The most important points in a chart are the Sun and the Moon and they are both connected in the crash chart and the U.S. chart. Furthermore, transiting Saturn (repression) on that day is exactly conjunct the U.S. Rahu (exactly), Mercury and opposed Pluto which was currently in Capricorn. Think of the implications here! The nodes are indicators of destiny and the U.S. has the destiny to keep this secret (8th house) of the aliens. This
secret must remain repressed. The 8th house involves deep research and investigation too. Lastly Mercury is in the same place in both charts 2-3 degrees Cancer and in the 8th house again represents secrecy. It is undeniable these two charts are saying something about the U.S. involvement with aliens. President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s chart is quite unusual in the tight conjunction he has with Neptune and Pluto in his 10th house of his work and career. This was a very long-standing aspect with these two outer planets that represent incredible deep profound spirituality actually out of this world. During this time in history when he was born was the spiritualist movement, where many great thinkers brought in a new way of believing such as Emerson, Thoreau and Madam Blavatsky. This conjunction is intensified in the 10th house by their conjunction with Rahu and they fully aspect Venus which also rules the 10th house. The placement of Rahu and Ketu are exalted in Taurus and Scorpio adding to their intensity. As in the charts of individuals that mark a life of destiny and their name living beyond their time there are always very important connections to the outer planets, as he also has Uranus conjunct his Moon within a degree at 3-4 degrees Libra. Uranus is the planet most associated with outer space and air travel. From this lengthy assessment there are deep connections with the Roswell crash and the U.S. chart. And the timing and connections with events from the bombing of Japan and the use of nuclear energy that brought forth the many UFO sightings. Furthermore, the charts of the U.S. Presidents tie in with some factors that they may have been associated with something out of this world. Could the United States have gained power with technology with alien’s help? Are we under a pack with aliens to not use nuclear power anymore? These are real questions that could be answered soon. The charts are definitely indicating something is up while all the dots in the charts are connecting. My hope is that through the guidance of an otherworldly presence they will keep us from destroying ourselves and bring peace.
Sylvester Stallone is an American actor, director, screenwriter, producer and artist. He began as a struggling actor for a number of years upon arriving in New York City in 1969 and later Hollywood in 1974. Stallone only found gradual work as an extra or side character in films with a sizeable budget until he achieved his greatest critical and commercial success as an actor, starting in 1976 with his self-created role as the boxer Rocky Balboa, in the first film of the successful Rocky series 1976–2018). In the films, Rocky is
portrayed as an underdog boxer that fights numerous brutal opponents, and wins the world heavyweight championship twice. Stallone launched another major franchise, starring as Vietnam veteran John Rambo, which was both a critical and box office success. Critics praised Stallone's performance, saying he made Rambo seem human, as opposed to the way he is portrayed in the book of the same name. He also continued his box office success with the Rocky franchise and wrote, directed, and starred in two more 1980s sequels to the series: Rocky III and Rocky IV. Stallone has portrayed these two characters in a total of eleven films. Stallone came into great success almost overnight when he first did his movie Rocky. He has the Moon in the 10th house of fame and career with Jupiter. But the Moon is exactly conjunct the fixed star Spica, which is the most auspicious star of the heavens and can indicate an overnight sensation. Jupiter adds to the positive influence bringing expansion and luck. Jupiter as the chart ruler (ascendant ruler) in the 10th house is an indication of success in his work, plus it is with Neptune indicating a career in the movies. Mercury is the dispositor of both Jupiter and the Moon and it is exactly conjunct Pluto in the 8th house. Actually, Mercury and the Moon are in parivartana (mutual exchange of signs). This connects both the Moon and Mercury in a powerful way, indicating a deep probing mind and intelligence. It exchanges the energies like the Moon is in Cancer and Mercury is in Virgo further indicating a keen intellect and sensitivity. But Pluto with Mercury in the 8th house gives a deeply intense mind. This makes him vastly charismatic and extremely wealthy, as the 8th house pertains to money through others and those who invested in him made his success possible. Another very interesting detail is that Mercury is actually the only planet that does not lose strength in the 8th house as it adds to the investigative power of the mind. Saturn with Mercury actually gives abilities for perseverance and discipline. Mercury with Saturn can produce great writers as it gives the discipline needed to write as he created the stories lines to all his movies. One added detail many may not know is that his mother is an astrologer. Jupiter rules the 4th house of mother and is in his 10th house with the Moon. She was a great supporter of his work and recently passed away at 98 years old.
Pluto Conjunct or Opposed Venus Venus is the planet that rules marriage, love and in a man’s, chart actually indicates the wife. It also rules beauty, grace, charm and society. Venus in a chart can indicate attraction and any area that pertains to beauty such as fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume, flowers and interior decorators. It is actually anything that adorns and makes anything more beautiful. It has to do with society in terms of social graces and etiquette. It rules opulent wealth and luxury items in life. Pluto with Venus can have a profound effect on relationships and I have found that many times it deals with deep seated betrayals in love. The area of inheritance will be an important issue and has a deep effect on security and even the individuals that are attracted to an individual because of their wealth. It can most definitely bring the extremes in wealth and fortune but the issues of betrayal can overwhelm and consume life.
Philip Hartman was a Canadian–American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and graphic designer. After graduating from California State University, Northridge with a degree in graphic arts, Hartman designed album covers for bands In 1975, Hartman joined the comedy group The Groundlings, where he helped Paul Reubens develop his character, Pee-wee Herman. But Hartman was best known for the comedic characters he played on Saturday Night live from 1986-1994. Hartman was brutally murdered by his wife Brynn after a heated argument. He had threatened to take away their two children if she didn’t stop abusing drugs. When he went to bed, while he slept, Brynn entered his bedroom with a handgun and fatally shot him once between the eyes, once in the throat and once in the upper chest. She was taking Zoloft, had been drinking alcohol, and had recently used cocaine. Brynn drove to the home of her friend Ron Douglas and confessed to the killing, but initially he did not believe her. The pair drove back to the house in separate cars, and Brynn called another friend and confessed a second time. Upon seeing Hartman's body, Douglas called 9-1-1. Police arrived and escorted Douglas and the Hartman’s two children from the premises, by which time Brynn had locked herself in the bedroom and committed suicide. In his birth chart Pluto is tightly conjunct Venus, the planet of love, relationship and the wife in the 7th house of marriage. Pluto many times indicates
betrayal and when associated with Venus. But the intensity of the Pluto and Venus conjunction took this to the most extreme heights of murder, because Pluto is the planet of death and the underworld. This is a very difficult combination and it could mean he would continually attract a fatal attraction. Venus in Cancer can represent a very emotional wife as well. The sign dispositor of Venus is the Moon and its placement in the 5th house is generally considered difficult, when the ruler of the 7th house is in the 5th house it is difficult for relationships. In this case the argument entailed a threat to take away the children, as the 5th house rules children. But the nakshatra of Pluto and Venus is Ashlesha which, the darker side of this nakshatra, can represent manipulative sneaky individuals. Mercury as the nakshatra dispositor is especially difficult as it is conjunct Ketu and Mars in the 10th house ruling the public and reputation, and their marital problems became public knowledge. This was the most extreme example I could find that represented the fated quality of betrayal in love with Pluto conjunct Venus.
Liberace was an American pianist, singer and actor. A child prodigy born to parents of Italian and Polish origin, Liberace enjoyed a career spanning four decades of concerts, recordings, television, motion pictures, and endorsements. At the height of his fame, from the 1950s to the 1970s, Liberace was the highestpaid entertainer in the world, with established concert residencies in Las Vegas, and an international touring schedule. Liberace embraced a lifestyle of flamboyant excess both on and off stage, acquiring the nickname “Mr. Showmanship.” But his relationships are the focus in his chart that screams attention as he also has Pluto and Venus exactly conjunct in the 7th house in Gemini. Again, the sign ruler of Venus and Pluto and the 7th house is in the 5th house an indicator of problems in relationships. Pluto of course here will indicate betrayal but don’t forget it also pertains to issues of control and manipulation. Be aware that Venus and Pluto in the sign of Gemini can represent younger lovers. In 1982, Scott Thorson, Liberace's 22-year-old former chauffeur and alleged live-in lover of five years, sued the pianist for $113 million in palimony after he was let go by Liberace. Liberace continued to deny that he was homosexual, and during court depositions in 1984, he insisted that Thorson was never his lover. The case was settled out of court in 1986, with Thorson receiving a $75,000 cash settlement, plus three cars and three pet dogs worth another $20,000. Thorson stated after Liberace’s death that he settled because he
knew that Liberace was dying and that he had intended to sue based on conversion of property rather than palimony. Thorson also remarked that he was not aware that Liberace had any health issues prior to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and up until one year before his death that Liberace never publicly acknowledged that he was gay. In a 2011 interview, actress and close friend Betty White stated that Liberace was indeed gay and that she was often used as a beard by his managers to counter public rumors of the musician's homosexuality. Liberace was secretly diagnosed as HIV positive in August 1985 by his private physician in Las Vegas, 18 months before his death. Cary Wyman, his alleged lover of 7 years, was also infected and died in 1997. Another alleged lover, named Chris Adler, came forward after Liberace’s death and claimed that Liberace infected him with HIV; Adler died in 1990 at age 30. Aside from his long-term manager, Seymour Heller, and a few family members and associates, Liberace kept his terminal illness a secret until the day he died and did not seek any medical treatment. Interestingly, in both the cases of Phil Hartman and Liberace they both died as a result of their relationships. Liberace died as a result of contracting AIDS from a partner. Liberace had his Moon conjunct Rahu which makes for very intense paranoid emotions, and as the moon rules the 8th house and is placed in the 12th house further indicates his secrecy and privacy (12th house), and feelings of humiliation and scandals (8th house). From his Moon the severity of problems in relationships is clearly seen as Mars, Sun, and Ketu reside 7th from the Moon indicating a deep-seated anger within relationships and these planets are in Taurus ruled by Venus bringing out again this dangerous Venus and Pluto conjunction.
Elvis Presley, also known simply as Elvis, was an American singer and actor. He is regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century and is often referred to as the “King of Rock and Roll” or simply “the King.” Everyone in the world has heard of Elvis, and Pluto is a powerful force to be reckoned with as it is aspecting Venus by opposition and connected to Rahu and Ketu. Venus is extraordinary here conjunct Rahu and opposed Pluto in the 3rd house of entertainers and talent. But again, Venus’ aspect from Pluto and Rahu
doesn’t fare well in marriage and relationships, and Venus rules the 7th house. An important thing to remember is the power of Pluto represents all the powers of the 8th house and the 8th house also indicates charisma and sexual attraction. This is what empowers most movie stars, and Elvis definitely had a powerful attractive power with his charisma. The sign dispositor of Venus and Rahu in Capricorn is Saturn and it is placed in the 4th house with the Moon. This Saturn and Moon conjunction represents the responsibility he had towards his mother. He bought his mother cars and homes and always stayed close to her. When his mother died, he was grief stricken for years and really never got over the loss. He was a twin, and at birth his twin brother was born dead. This can be the power of Pluto aspecting Venus and Rahu in the 3rd house of siblings. Both Rahu and Pluto are powers that separate and cause death. He had a very strange attitude towards mothers. As Pricilla, his wife, had their baby, Lisa Marie, he turned cold towards his wife finding her unattractive after having a baby. This actually destroyed his marriage. This may have been the deep psychological issue that Pluto and Rahu aspecting Venus entail. It could have had some strange connection to his mother, or even the unconscious loss of his brother at birth. Elvis met Priscilla Presley when he was 24 years old, already a superstar and serving in the US Armed Forces, while she was just 14 years old. A year later she moved in with him in his lavish Memphis home. Priscilla maintains they didn’t have sex until they were married eight years later. Once the couple tied the knot in 1967, it was nine months to the day until she gave birth to their daughter Lisa Marie Presley. After Lisa Marie was born, however, Elvis lost interest in sex with his wife. “Elvis had a hard time dealing with the mother and the little girl that I was to him,” Priscilla explained in a 1985 interview. “I didn’t know it then but that’s how I finally realized in later years he was a father to me; he was my mentor.” Their relationship began to break down, with the actress recalling: “Our communication was horrible, it was terrible.” Elvis was also seeing other women and, in his absence, Priscilla turned to her own hobbies to keep busy. She started karate lessons with martial artist and stuntman Mike Stone and before long the
pair started an affair. In 1972, she told the King of Rock ’n’ Roll she was leaving him and moved in with her new beau. It was alleged Elvis wanted his wife’s new man killed. But she said “the Blue Suede Shoes hitmaker never did anything to act on that desire. A lot of it was talk, anger, talking out of emotion.” One way or another Pluto tightly aspecting Venus causes great harm to relationships, and sets up the individuals for a feeling of betrayal. Pluto Conjunct or Opposed Mars Mars is fiery and rules energy and ambition, drive, courage, and siblings. But on the darker side of Mars it rules aggression, anger, violence, war, weapons, and attacks. Some other more obscure variables that come under Mars’ rulership is real-estate and blood. When Mars is combined with Pluto it becomes more than a ball of fire, it can be extremely intense and can many times deal with attacks. As Mars is the ruler of Aries and Scorpio, its undercurrents of sexuality can come out especially with Pluto, as they are both affiliated with the 8th house. There is a profound charisma, sensuality and sexuality with this combination. It can even bring the extremes of wealth and money. All of the issues involving Mars and Pluto pertain to control and power around 8th house issues. Many times, depending on the house placements and rulerships it can deal with problems concerning sexual abuse, such as rape or molestation.
Natalie Wood was an American actress who began her career in film as a child actor and successfully transitioned to young adult roles. She was the recipient of four Golden Globes, and received three Academy Award nominations. Wood was a child star who went on to have a very successful adult career. Unfortunately, the beautiful actress was also the victim of a horrific sexual assault. When she was 15 years old, Natalie was raped by an older actor. Although she never went to the police, she told several friends that her rapist was actor Kirk Douglas. Her Russian mother moved them to Hollywood determined to make Natalie famous. Then in the Spring of 1954, Douglas invited Natalie to his room at the Chateau Marmont for an audition. Her mother drove her to the hotel and waited in the car. When she got to the room, he gave Natalie a drink and told her he liked “young girls.” Then he threw her down on the bed and brutally raped her. The attack lasted for several hours.
When it was over, he told her “If you tell anyone it will be the last thing you do.” The rape was so violent that Natalie started bleeding and had to go the hospital. Her mother discouraged her from filing a complaint because she worried it would hurt her acting career. At the time Kirk Douglas was one of the most powerful stars in Hollywood. He later admitted that he had been a womanizer and an alcoholic but he never confessed to rape. Natalie was traumatized by the assault and spent years in therapy. Friends said she would “shudder” every time she heard Douglas’s name. Wood drowned off Catalina Island on November 29, 1981, at age 43. The events surrounding her death have been the subject of conflicting witness statements, prompting the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, under the instruction of the coroner's office, to list her cause of death as “drowning and other undetermined factors” in 2012. In 2018, Robert Wagner, her husband, was named as a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into Wood’s death. Pluto is the planet that has to do with the dark undercurrents of rape and even death. Wood was the victim of a mysterious death and rape in her younger years. It was proven in the autopsy that she was involved in brutality at the time of her death as there were extreme bruises on her body and even her ear lobe was torn off. She has Mars tightly conjunct Pluto and even the Sun within a degree in Cancer in the 11th house. The 11th house can represent very influential people within a life. Douglas was one of the top Hollywood stars at the time but as can be seen in her chart was extremely violent. Mars with Pluto can indicate violence and the Sun accounts for his power. Mars even in the debilitation sign of Cancer points to dysfunction of this planetary energy. But noting where the Moon resides is a huge indication in this analysis, as the Moon is in Aries in the 8th house. This means Mars and the Moon are in each other’s sign of rulership meaning they are in parivartana (mutual exchange of signs) and actually indicates a reversal of the planets rulership, meaning they become expressed as though Mars is in Aries and the Moon in Cancer. This powerful debilitated Mars carries a deep connection to the 8th house. Actually, all the planets in the 11th house (Sun, Mars, Pluto and Mercury) in Cancer makes the Moon the dispositor in the 8th house of secrets, scandals, sexuality, control, and disgrace. Remember,
Pluto has the same meanings of the 8th house, so it is all doubly emphasized. Interestingly enough at the time of her rape transiting Pluto was exactly conjunct her natal Mercury in the 11th house. Her Mercury is 29 degrees of Cancer. The degree is ghandanta (last degrees of a water sign or first degrees of a fire sign). Ghandanta indicates something is extreme and out of control and many times has been referred to as a sense of drowning, whether it is literally drowning or figuratively drowning, as in a feeling of losing control. And in her case, it was both losing control and even actually drowning that ended her life. Mercury is not only ghandanta, but it is in Cancer meaning the dispositor is the Moon which in the 8th house tells the story of what happened on that horrific day. The Moon in parivartana with Mars is telling since Mars is conjunct Pluto. Furthermore, Uranus in the 8th house brings unexpected sudden events in the area of violence and death. From Chandra Lagna (Moon as the ascendant) the prospect of rape and murder are even accentuated again. The stellium of the four planets in Cancer are in the 4th house from the Moon which will pertain to her home, mother, security and end of life. Her mother was the one that waited for her in the car after the rape and concluded with keeping it a secret as her ambition was for, above all, else Natalie to become a big star. These types of things were never revealed at this time. Even from the Moon, Mars rules the 8th house ruling Scorpio. Also, from Chandra Lagna, Pluto transited over natal Mercury, which rules the difficult 3rd and 6th houses. The 3rd house is the 8th house from the 8th house giving further indications of the 8th house and the 6th house represents enemies. Overall this was a violent crime committed against her and the shame and disgrace had to be kept secret. In 1981, her apparent drowning later points to foul play as the autopsy accounts for massive bruising and traumas to the body plus the pilot of the yacht at the time accounts for the sounds of a major fight before uncovering Wood’s dead disfigured body. Her chart points to the husband as being the most involved in her death as transiting Saturn is exactly opposing her natal Saturn in the 7th house of the spouse, plus transiting Mars in her 12th house of secrets is aspecting her natal Saturn by its 8th full aspect. Rahu and Ketu had just entered Sagittarius
and Gemini, therefore transiting Ketu was in an 8/6 (quincunx) aspect to natal ghandanta Mercury, indicating a drowning. As to the outer planets involvement in her death, transiting Uranus was exactly square natal Jupiter in her 6th house of accidents but rules the 7th house of the spouse. Transiting Pluto was squaring the Sun, Mars and Pluto conjunction and Mars rules the 8th house. Plus, Pluto is nearing the opposition to the natal Moon in the 8th house. In this analysis Pluto adds to the understanding of the violence and deep undercurrents pertaining to scandals, rape, disgrace and humiliation that both Pluto, the 8th house and the violence involved with the tight conjunction of Mars with Pluto.
Mohandas Gandhi was an Indian lawyer, anti-colonial nationalist, and political ethicist, who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India's independence from British Rule, and in turn inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. Born and raised in a Hindu family in coastal Gujarat, western India, Gandhi was trained in law in London, and became a lawyer at age 22. After two uncertain years in India, where he was unable to start a successful law practice, he moved to South Africa in 1893 to represent an Indian merchant in a lawsuit. He went on to stay for 21 years. It was in South Africa that Gandhi raised a family, and first employed nonviolent resistance in a campaign for civil rights. In 1915, at age 45, he returned to India. He set about organizing peasants, farmers, and urban laborer’s to protest against excessive land-tax and discrimination. Assuming leadership of the Indian National Congress in 1921, Gandhi led nationwide campaigns for easing poverty, expanding women's rights, building religious and ethnic amity. Later he undertook several fasts unto death to stop religious violence. Some Indians thought Gandhi was too accommodating. Among them was Nathuram Godse, a Hindu nationalist, who assassinated Gandhi January 30, 1948 by firing three bullets into his chest. Gandhi has a Libra ascendant with Mercury, Venus and Mars in Libra. Venus stands out as all powerful, as the chart ruler. Venus and the sign Libra are
both signs of peace. He was an initiator of peace and change that the world most desperately needed at this time in history. The Moon with Rahu in the 10th house of career indicates a career in the public eye and fame. Especially in the sign of Cancer, as the Moon rules Cancer, it accentuates it all the more, plus Rahu with the Moon brings his reputation to the top but with much controversy. The Venus and Mars conjunction in Libra is powerfully placed with the full opposition aspect of the Pluto and Jupiter conjunction. His worldly power could not have been achieved without the immense power of Pluto involved in these planet’s aspects. This combination has huge effects globally and transcends time. Outer planets effects on personal planets gives power to the effects a person has on the masses and represents a life that is remembered and has its effects on humanity. In Gandhi’s case, he had outstanding power with Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Aries and the aspect to Mars dispositor of Jupiter and Pluto is undeniable power. But interestingly Venus is the recipient and giver of all the power of these planets as it is the dispositor of the planets in Libra and is the ruler of Libra. Since Venus receives all the power of these planets his power came through Venus. Venus and the sign Libra rule peace. He is incredibly powerful and was able to transform and change the world and bring balance through his activism of peace. Quite the opposite to Gandhi was Adolph Hitler who had a Libra ascendant but his Venus and Mars were exactly conjunct in Aries. So, Mars was the dispositor instead of Venus, and produced the opposite result and they were opposite signs and Mars is the planet of war. Even from Chandra lagna (Moon as the ascendant) the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction is in the 10th house of fame, recognition, and power. From the Moon his power is fully activated with the power of Pluto and Jupiter and Mars, Venus and Mercury are in the 4th house which is said to be the seat of power. His greatness is foretold from not just his ascendant but is doubly reinforced from the Moon. Gandhi’s Mars and Venus are in the nakshatra Vishakha, which is the undefeated one, giving him his tremendous drive to achieve his passion and goals. Vishakha is ruled by Jupiter therefore bringing forth the ability to rise above the opponents. He actually found ways to bring balance as the planets in the 1st house (Mercury, Venus and Mars) opposed Jupiter and Pluto in the 7th house represents his opponents and partners who ended up giving their support,
but in the end an opponent is the one who took his life. The 7th house as opponents has the undeniable power of the Pluto conjunct Jupiter. Jupiter is in the nakshatra Krittika. Krittika is ruled by the Sun, which is placed in the 12th house of hidden enemies. Gandhi achieved greatness from these powerful aspects but it only came with grave tribulations and struggles. This can be seen as Mars, Venus and Mercury in the 1st house is surrounded by malefics, papakartari yoga. The Sun is in the 12th house and Saturn in the 2nd house hemming in the 1st house and the planets placed there. He always felt the lack of freedom to aspire to the goals he wanted to achieve and fought for these God given rights for himself and humanity. I believe he would not have been able to acquire the monumental changes he did without the additional transformational power of Pluto involved in these aspects. On the day he was assassinated with gunshot wounds to his heart, transiting Rahu was 26 degrees of Aries right on his Pluto and Jupiter in the 7th house of opponents and transiting Ketu was exactly on his natal Mars and Venus. Mars ruled the 7th house of opponents and it is the maraka planet of death as it ruled the two maraka houses, 2nd house and 7th house. Venus ruled the 1st house indicating the physical body, and the 8th house of death and endings. Furthermore, transiting Saturn was right on his natal Moon in the 10th house of public recognition as this sent shock waves across the world of this sorrowful event.
Paul McCartney hardly needs any introduction as he is a legendary musician. He is an English singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and record and film producer who gained worldwide fame as co-lead vocalist and bassist for The Beatles. His songwriting partnership with John Lennon remains the most successful in history. After the group disbanded in 1970, he pursued a solo career and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda, and Denny Laine. McCartney is one of the most successful composers and performers of all time. As of 2020, he is also one of the wealthiest musicians in the world, with an
estimated fortune of £800 million. As expected, McCartney has an extremely powerful chart for success as his Sun and Jupiter conjunction is in his 10th house of fame and recognition. The Sun is actually right on his midheaven, which constitutes the highest point in the chart and represents the career. Jupiter may be a bit weakened by the Sun, as it is combust, but the Sun is empowered by Jupiter. Also, Jupiter and the Sun are in Gemini ruled by Mercury, which is in the 9th house of luck and fortune. Most individuals that their name lives on beyond their time have powerfully placed outer planets and he has all three placed powerfully. Neptune which pertains to mystifying creativity is directly on his ascendant degree. Neptune creates a mystic and gives an attraction. The eyes are usually very attractive and have a deep or watery look, and his eyes give this appearance. It is also the planet that can have indications for music and or film and movies. Neptune on the ascendant makes one very photogenic too. Uranus is conjunct his Saturn in the 9th house of luck and fortune and Saturn rules his 5th house of creativity. Uranus is the cutting edge of what is new and futuristic as The Beatles brought an entirely new sound and dimension to Rock and Roll as it set forth the future stage for the “British Rock Invasion” changing the music of the 1960s and beyond. Uranus also rules electricity and the electric guitar was a major feature of their music. The combination of Uranus with Saturn was actually a stabilizing force for Uranus’ energy and McCartney was most definitely the stabilizing force of The Beatles. As a matter of fact, Ringo Star noted that many times when he and John Lennon were getting high it was Paul who showed up whisking them all off to the recording studio, against their will. Star claimed many of the recordings would not have been made without the insistence and demands of McCartney. He was said to be a workaholic and he is still to this day performing on tour at age 78 years old. Saturn and Uranus are in Taurus ruled by Venus which is in the 8th house of scandals and charisma. He definitely exudes a sexual magnetism as he performs. Venus is the ruler of his 2nd and 9th houses which indicates his wealth and money. Since the 2nd house is the voice many with strong 2nd house ruler can have a powerful and attractive voice. But the defining aspect of his voice is that his Venus is in the nakshatra Bharani which indicates the first to do something
and the power for new breakthroughs. Plus, his Venus is in the 10th house from the Moon elevating his success potential even more. He is without a doubt, one of the first to bring forth this new musical sound that was a revolution in the world of music, becoming a living legend. On another note, his Jupiter as ruler of the 7th house of marriage partners and business partners is in the nakshatra Ardra which pertains to sadness, as its symbol is a teardrop. He lost his wife of many years to breast cancer in 1998, and his business and creative partner John Lennon was tragically murdered in 1980. The most powerful outer planet in his chart is Pluto which is tightly conjunct Mars and the Moon in Cancer. Mars and Pluto together represent explosive energy. As they reside in the 11th house this indicates powerful friends and influential people in his life as John Lennon definitely qualifies for this, and even his tragic death is even indicated here. The 11th house is also the 8th house from the 4th house of mother which indicates the early and sad loss of his mother from breast cancer as well. The early loss of his mother was one of the emotional connections he had with Lennon because he lost his mother at an early age from an accident. Paul was 14 years old and John was 17 years old when they lost their moms. As the 11th house represents great gains in life it definitely indicates that he would be one of the richest musicians of all time with this powerful Pluto and Mars conjunction. Mars is debilitated in Cancer, but as it resides with the Moon in its own sign the debilitation is overcome. The Moon with Mars is a powerful yoga called the Chandra Mangala yoga which always denotes business success, and the 11th house placement accentuates this all the more. Mars rules the 3rd house of entertainers and Pluto gives this explosive energy. As The Beatles were the rage in the 1960s it was like an explosion as young girls became ecstatic screaming and crying during concerts. From the Moon, Mars rules the 5th house of creativity and the 3rd and these houses must be strong for entertainers. McCartney is an amazing entertainer and legend in his own time. He exudes the power of Pluto and the charisma of the 8th house.
Pluto Conjunct or Opposed Jupiter Jupiter rules over optimism, expansion, freedom, wealth and opportunities. When Jupiter aspects planets it expands the planet’s energy and any of the attributes they rule. Jupiter is also the planet of teachers and children. Jupiter and Pluto make one a great teacher and give powerful children. So, Pluto in combination with Jupiter expands Jupiter’s power for wealth and power. Depending on the houses they are in or rule will bring about this expansive power in different areas the houses rule. Sometimes tough the power can be explosive and over the top. Regardless this conjunction can mean ultimate power since Jupiter expands the power of Pluto. It can even indicate dictators or powerful leaders in their fields of expertise. They feel a sense of power and must be in leadership positions.
Bill Gates is an American business magnate, software developer, investor, and philanthropist. He is best known as the co-founder of Microsoft Corporation. During his career at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), president and chief software architect, while also being the largest individual shareholder until May 2014. He is one of the best-known entrepreneurs and pioneers of the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. As of July 2020, Gates had an estimated net worth of $111.8 billion, making him the second-wealthiest person in the world, behind Bezos. Gates has an exceptionally powerful chart for wealth and money as he has a perfect Lakshmi yoga (goddess of wealth). Here is what constitutes a Lakshmi Yoga: Venus must be in its own sign or exalted (Taurus, Libra or Pisces), the ruler of the 1st house and the ruler of the 9th house must be strong by sign and house. He has Venus in its own sign Libra, and the ruler of the 1st house Mercury is exalted in the 4th house giving a Bhadra yoga (Mercury exalted in an angular house), and the ruler of the 9th house is exalted Saturn in the 5th house. Lakshmi yoga is formed This denotes great wealth. Another sign of wealth in a chart is when the 2nd house of money and 11th house of great gains are connected, and the ruler of the 2nd house is the Moon which is aspected by Mars by opposition which Mars rules the 11th house. Plus, whenever the Moon and Mars mutually aspect each other, they form a Chandra
Mangala yoga (meaning great business success). He even has the Adhi yoga which also produces wealth, which is when all natural benefic planets (Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter) are in opposition to the Moon, meaning they are in houses 6th, 7th or 8th from the Moon. But the greatest indicator of wealth in his chart has to be the Jupiter conjunct Pluto in his 3rd house. This power house conjunction is truly what brought such a substantial rise in his career due to Jupiter’s rulership over the 10th house of the career and social standing. This conjunction also sits on the fixed star Regulus. This is the star of kings and leaders. Since the 3rd house pertains to communications it is no surprise that he is one of instigators of the internet which is the most powerful force of communications we have today. It has brought the world together and now our communications are global daily.
Saddam Hussein was the fifth President of Iraq from 1979 until 2003. He formally rose to power in 1979, although he had already been the de facto head of Iraq for several years. He suppressed several movements, particularly Shi’a and Kurdish movements which sought to overthrow the government or gain independence, and maintained power during the Iran–Iraq War and the Gulf War. Hussein’s rule was a repressive dictatorship. The total number of Iraqis killed by the security services of Saddam's government in various purges and genocides is conservatively estimated to be 250,000. Saddam's invasions of Iran and Kuwait also resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths. In 2003, a coalition led by the United States invaded Iraq to depose Saddam, in which U.S. President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair accused him of possessing weapons of mass destruction and having ties to al-Qaeda. November 5, 2006 Saddam was convicted by an Iraqi court of crimes against humanity related to the 1982 killing of 148 Iraqi Shi'a and sentenced to death by hanging. He was executed December 30, 2006. Hussein was a very powerful and angry dictator as his Mars is in intense and passionate Scorpio and retrograde. Mars retrograde can have repressed issues of anger especially in the 12th house. The 12th house seems to have a lot of repressed energy from the past, plus it also concerns foreigners and secret enemies. But this Mars also affects the Moon which rules the mind and
consciousness and the Moon rules the 8th house of scandals, secrets and death. If this isn’t telling enough Rahu is conjoined both the Moon and Mars magnifying all these effects to the most extreme level, as Rahu magnifies the planets it is next to. This is a potent combination for an extremely dangerous individual if all these proclivities are taking the darker side. His exalted Sun in Aries is in the 5th house tightly conjunct Uranus indicating an extremely unpredictable and rebellious spirit. This indicates a very unconventional, futuristic and awakened individual but since they are in Aries Mars is the dispositor of these planets bringing the awareness to the darkness of the 12th house Mars, Moon and Rahu. Even the nakshatra The Sun and Uranus are in, Bharani which can be very intense. This nakshatra can be harsh if the energies are not coming from an evolved individual. The most powerful planetary aspect that brings in a very power-hungry extremist is the exact opposition of Pluto and Jupiter from the 2nd and 8th houses. Jupiter in Capricorn is debilitated therefore considered weak but the aspect of Pluto from the 8th house magnifies it in a very dark power-hungry way. Pluto brings with it the doubly intense energy of the 8th house, which pertains to control, manipulation and death, as he was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands. Hussein was severely abused as a child and ran away from a tortured home and was taught to steal and murder at an early age. This is readily seen in the 2nd house of early childhood as Jupiter is deeply debilitated in the 2nd house plus rules the 4th house of the mother. The other indication of the mother is the Moon and the Moon is deeply scared in the 12th house, debilitated in Scorpio surrounded by two intense malefics Mars and Rahu. Emotionally, he has deep fears stemming from the past and even with his irrational behavior depicted by the Sun with Uranus he became one of the most feared and abusive dictators, rivaling Adolph Hitler. The extremes to his destruction can be seen from his chart but one of the most extreme rivaling factors is Pluto as it exactly aspects and grossly expands the destructive nature of the profoundly debilitated Jupiter.
Anthony Bourdain was an American celebrity chef, author, journalist, and travel documentarian who starred in programs focusing on the exploration of international culture, cuisine, and the human condition. Bourdain was a 1978 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and a veteran of a number of professional kitchens in his long career, which included many years spent as an executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles in Manhattan. He first became known for his bestselling book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly.
He began hosting the Travel Channel’s culinary and cultural adventure programs Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations then Parts Unknown. Though best known for his culinary writings and television presentations, along with several books on food and cooking and travel adventures, Bourdain also wrote both fiction and historical nonfiction. On June 8, 2018, Bourdain died by suicide while on location in France for Parts Unknown. Bourdain’s Jupiter and Pluto conjunction are in the 2nd house of food and drink we consume, plus Jupiter rules the 6th house of diet, nutrition and the service industry, such as restaurants. The fact that Pluto is so close to Jupiter magnifies the results in the restaurant business and the 2nd house is how we make our money. He was incredibly successful in this business. The Sun as the ruler of the 2nd house and the dispositing planet of Jupiter and Pluto resides in the 12th house which can actually represent working behind the scenes, such as the kitchen. But there is more to this as Bourdain struggled with addictions which probably was an issue with his problems with depression. The Sun is in the 12th house of loss and is in the nakshatra of Ardra, a very difficult nakshatra that pertains to sadness. Mars is a powerful planet for his chart as it is the yoga karaka planet ruling the 10th and the 5th houses. This brings the power of this plant to the 8th house of control and power. The 8th house can deal with addictions and suicide in which I believe the placement of Mars had the most significant effect on his addictions leading to his death. Mars is in the nakshatra Shatabhishak, which can indicate addictions as it rules hard to cure diseases, such as in drugs and alcohol. Mars aspects his natal Mercury exactly giving him his sharp and cutting speech. Both Mars and Saturn aspect his natal Jupiter and Pluto, (Saturn is exact). This adds emphasis to this Jupiter and Pluto conjunction. Furthermore, Pluto and Jupiter are conjunct the fixed star Regulus adding to the power of this placement. The 2nd house pertains to food and the voice, in which Bourdain’s most powerful statement was that “food brings us all together regardless of our heritage or culture.” It was actually his writing that put Bourdain on the map as he wrote of the insanity that went on in the kitchens with drugs and alcohol. Mercury’s aspect to
Saturn is a sign of a writer, plus his Saturn conjunct Rahu in the 5th house of authorship is what represents his powerful appeal and the extremes of the restaurant business. From Chandra lagna (Moon as the ascendant) Mercury is conjunct Ketu in the 5th house of authorship and Mercury exchanges with Venus (parivartana) in the 6th house of restaurants. He wrote of the crazy extreme experiences in the restaurant business. Plus, Venus rules the 10th house (career) from the Moon and is in the 6th house of restaurants. His career was in the service industry. But Mars in the 2nd house from the Moon in Shatabhishak explains his addictions as he consumed drugs and alcohol, and opposes Jupiter and Pluto in the 8th house. This is the real issue pertaining to his fame and charisma and power. He was catapulted to fame and success with this combination. Saturn and Rahu in the 11th house from the Moon brought very powerful and influential people into his life, as well as Mercury with Ketu in the 11th house from the ascendant. The 11th house indicates people we know and powerful planets here or even aspecting the 11th house indicates the people we know that advance our career and success. Bourdain was a charismatic, influential and very rebellious individual as he surfaced many dark secrets in life and the restaurant business as can be observed with Uranus opposed his Moon. His legend will live on. Pluto Conjunct or opposed Saturn Saturn is the planet of discipline, focus, structure and organization. It can also denote setbacks, delays, endings and even death. As it also rules old age it is important to know that Saturn can give rewards in the latter life for the hard work performed earlier. Actually, someone with a powerful and good Saturn is known to enjoy the fruits of their labor in their later years. If someone has a good Saturn the second part of life is always better than the first part of life. Pluto with Saturn can magnify the focus and discipline of Saturn. But an overexaggerated Saturn can be controlling. They cannot let go and surrender. This combination can be very difficult as the power of Pluto can be exaggerated
in a harsh way. These individuals can have a demanding side to them. Together they can indicate something very challenging as well that they are here to experience that has a profound and hard lesson to learn.
Albert Gore Jr. is an American politician and environmentalist who served as the 45th vice president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. Gore was Bill Clinton’s running mate in their successful campaign in 1992, and the pair was re-elected in 1996. Near the end of Clinton’s second term, Gore was selected as
the Democratic nominee for the 2000 presidential election but lost the election in a very close race after a Florida recount. After his term as vice president ended in 2001, Gore remained prominent as an author and environmental activist, whose work in climate change activism earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. Gore has Pluto, Saturn and Mars in the 1st house in Cancer. Saturn and Pluto indicate the extremes and the need to be in control, but debilitated Mars adds intensity to this mix. The dispositing planet of these planets in Cancer is the Moon which resides in the 6th house in Sagittarius with Jupiter. Interestingly enough the 6th house indicates the environment and health. The environment is the issue that Gore is most passionate. As the Moon and Jupiter are in the nakshatra Mula, he can be adamant about his fight in this area even taking judgement to the extreme as this nakshatra is known for. It is a nakshatra that deals with destruction and he is always speaking for the many ways we must clean up the environment or else we will destroy ourselves. Saturn conjunct Mars is very successful as it gives extreme tenacity and perseverance and never gives up. With so many tries for success the individual usually achieves their goals after many obstacles and defeats. But it only comes after many defeats. As Saturn rules the 7th house of relationships and is with Pluto he had many difficulties with marriage and relationships. The partner is very powerful and controlling as Pluto is with the ruler of the 7th house. This can even refer to President Clinton as he was his partner at one time. From the Moon this mix of Mars, Saturn and Pluto are in the 8th house indicating a much darker side to his personality. The 8th house is the house of scandals and secrets and investigating his past he was not the best husband to Tipper Gore as he had numerous affairs with a variety of women. Neptune is opposed the Sun indicating secrets that may be the reason he never became the President. Neptune in opposition to the Sun can definitely indicate something never revealed to the public as he could be dishonest. The Sun is in the 9th house of the truth and law but it rules the 2nd house of his finances, meaning he may have been dishonest about his finances. This indiscretion could have cost him the Presidency.
Amy Winehouse was an English singer and songwriter. She was known for her deep, expressive contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues and jazz. Winehouse was plagued by drug and alcohol addiction. She died of alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011, at the age of 27. After her death, Back to Black temporarily became the UK’s best-selling album of the 21st century
and ranked Winehouse 26th on their list of the 100 Greatest Women in Music. Winehouse has all three outer planets close to personal planets indicating her life will be remembered many years beyond her grave. She has Neptune with the Moon, Uranus with Jupiter, and Pluto with Saturn. Neptune with the Moon in the 8th house in Sagittarius can definitely indicate her self-destructive ways in terms of her alcoholism, but another indicator here is that they are in the nakshatra Mula, which pertains to a very self-destructive quality since Mula’s deity is Niritti goddess of destruction. Neptune pertains to delusions and drugs and alcohol, and in the 8th house of scandals, deep emotional issues and death it was a definite indicator of her early demise. Jupiter with Uranus in the 7th house indicates the extremes and difficulties she had in relationships, especially since Jupiter rules the most difficult 8th house. It indicates extreme ups and downs and sudden events pertaining to relationships and even sudden death. Additionally, Jupiter and Uranus are influenced with Ketu being in the 7th house, plus this aligns Rahu in the 1st house on her Ascendant meaning a life of destiny and fate. But it is Pluto with Saturn that makes her attracted to such extremes in life. Saturn rules the old and traditions, and Pluto rules destruction. In the 6th house of work, health and healing, she went overboard in defying her health and took everything to the extreme. But Saturn exalted in Libra should have given her the power to overcome her destructive behavior especially since it is the yoga karaka planet (powerful planet based on house rulership of 9th and 10th houses). But debilitated Mars aspects this conjunction by its 4th full aspect. Mars and Venus in the 3rd house of entertainers is in Cancer which the dispositor of these two planets is the Moon, and when the ruler of the 3rd house is in the 8th house the individual can lose their power and courage to change. Neptune with the Moon in Mula in the 8th house was the core essence of her self-destruction and demise. Saturn and Pluto in Libra in the 6th house contribute to her struggles. It seems that an exalted Saturn in the 6th house would have given her the power to overcome her illness, but Pluto as a destructive force seemed to intensify her demise as Saturn and Pluto are known to bring destruction in worldly affairs, therefore also in personal affairs.
Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh (later known as Osho) was an Indian godman, mystic, and founder of the Rajneesh movement. During his lifetime he was viewed as a controversial new religious movement leader and mystic. In the 1960s, he traveled throughout India as a public speaker and was a vocal critic of socialism, arguing that India was not ready for socialism and that socialism,
communism, and anarchism could evolve only when capitalism had reached its maturity. Rajneesh emphasized the importance of meditation, mindfulness, love, celebration, courage, creativity, and humor, qualities that he viewed as being suppressed by adherence to static belief systems, religious tradition, and socialization. In advocating a more open attitude to human sexuality, he caused controversy in India during the late 1960s and became known as “the sex guru.” In 1981, the Rajneesh movement’s efforts refocused on activities in the United States and Rajneesh relocated to a facility known as Rajneeshpuram in Wasco County, Oregon. Almost immediately, the movement ran into conflict with county residents and the state government, and a succession of legal battles concerning the ashram’s construction and continued development curtailed its success. In 1985, in the wake of a series of serious crimes by his followers, including a mass food poisoning attack with salmonella bacteria and an aborted assassination plot to murder U.S. Attorney Charles H. Turner, Rajneesh alleged that his personal secretary Ma Anand Sheela and her close supporters had been responsible. He was later deported from the United States in accordance with an Alford plea bargain. After his deportation, 21 countries denied him entry. He ultimately returned to India and revived the Pune ashram, where he died in 1990. Rajneesh's teachings have had an impact on Western New Age thought, and their popularity has reportedly increased since his death. Rajneesh certainly has a chart that exemplifies all indications of the 8th house, scandals, sex, control, manipulation, power, and money. This house can produce great power, even metaphysical powers but many are tempted to misuse it. He has five plants in the 8th house, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Moon and Saturn in Sagittarius. On top of all of that, Pluto was opposing all these planets in the 2nd house in Gemini. It is tightly affecting Venus and the Moon but Saturn is exactly opposed Pluto. This is an intense mixture of all these planets producing the essences of the 8th house and Pluto. These planets in Sagittarius are about beliefs and spirituality and it is no surprise he was called the “sex guru.” His Sun is even in the 8th sign Scorpio and its dispositing planet is Mars in the 8th house. He is the epitome of the transcendental spiritualist that speaks of
transformation and change. But Jupiter is very important since it is the dispositing planet of all five planets in Sagittarius. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer at 29 degrees. This is his Atmakaraka (planet at the highest degree) meaning this planet is a key indicator of who he is in terms of his spirit, and Jupiter is the teacher, especially in the 3rd house of learning and teaching. But Jupiter being 29 degrees Cancer is also ghandanta, which is when a planet is in the last degrees of a water sign or the first degrees of a fire sign. This can indicate a sense or literally drowning, meaning out of control. This is a very intense indication of something being wrong or a feeling of not being able to control things. With so much 8th house energy and Pluto and the Sun in Scorpio, and Jupiter in Cancer he has the extreme need to be in control, but he will never be in control. This chart is a perfect example of contradiction and extremes. The Moon and Jupiter are in Parivartana (exchange of signs) indicating a powerful exchange with the 8th and 3rd house which is understood as metaphysical teachings that can control others minds, but his need for power over others destroyed his communities and teachings. He definitely had great powers but they seemed to turn negatively onto himself. The exact opposition of Saturn with Pluto gave him enormous discipline and this was probably the main feature that gave him such a rise in power because Saturn rules his 9th and 10th houses which rule spirituality, 9th house and his career 10th house. He was very successful with his spiritual and metaphysical teachings but he just could not stay in control. His extreme need to control became his self-destruction, as we understand how the need to be in control becomes destructive, just as the eating disorder of Karen Carpenter took her life. Again, this took his life for we must come to realize we are never completely in control. There is a higher power we must surrender to find the enlightenment we seek.
Chapter 6 Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Natal Planets Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Sun Personal and psychological changes bring up lessons from the past. A personal transformation will set the tone for the year. Many endings will promote the changes the individual is unconsciously seeking. The world may turn upside down but the changes are for self-betterment and are a blessing in disguise. It is time to let go of the things that are not growth producing. There may be a major obsession for relationships that are a bit addictive but as the process of elimination occurs the life improves dramatically. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Moon Deep emotional changes are occurring as the realization that one must let go of the past. Many emotional and psychological changes are being processed. Their view of the world comes from past emotional attachments. The perceived hurt and pain from other’s controls certain behaviors and issues. Compulsive and obsessive reactions will be healed as they let go of the past. Issues around a female or the mother cause problems indicating it is time to let go of many past insecurities. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Mercury Obsessive thoughts and beliefs influence the mind and awareness. Control and manipulation can come from the spoken word or ways of communications. It is time to let go of the need to be in control and life will flow better. Obsessing about things one has no control over wastes mental energy. It is time to work on the things one does have control over instead. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Venus Obsessions about love and romance can cause upsets and problems in relationships. This may indicate an obsession over a relationship from the past, it is time to let it go. Compulsive behavior is consuming life in a negative way,
blocking the potential for a healthy relationship. Being controlled by others is also a sign of dysfunctional relationships as well. This transformational change in love is inevitable and is a blessing in disguise. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Mars Obsessional behavior consumes life. There may be certain addictions that need to be addressed. This is a time of endings even possible deaths surround life now. Erratic energy can cause the unexpected, resulting in accidents. Keep cool as anger seems to come from unforeseen sources, be careful not to react suddenly. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Jupiter The individual is granted control and position, and now the true test, not to abuse power. Conditions put one out in the forefront and they will be expected to lead others. Managing others gives power and leadership. Opportunities to acquire great wealth come at this time as one is granted power and recognition. Transiting Pluto conjunct or opposed Saturn This gives a position to learn great discipline and control. The sense of responsibility will be tested, as there is an incredible burden now. Many restrictions come with a new responsibility. Care for others in need weighs heavy on the mind. Organize time wisely as there are many time- consuming restraints.
Chapter 7 Transiting Pluto Effects in the Houses Remember, transiting Pluto remains in a sign for a very long time, around 12 years at this time. It will be the aspects to other planets that will set off the timing of some of these results. Transiting Pluto in the 1st house Effects are to the physical body and the immediate environment, therefore can indicate a sudden move. The appearance changes, even as extreme as plastic surgery. There is a need to change the appearance dramatically. Personality and tastes change, dress, hair and even the renovation of the surrounding environment. There is a need to transform the public persona and feel like they are an entirely different person. The obsession to change their appearance can become an addiction. Transiting Pluto in the 2nd house Financial situations change and money and wealth can become an obsession. The manner in how money is earned changes. The extremes of money cause obsessions with power associated with money. Money and power become an addiction and may begin to control the individual. Major financial gains transform life. Family becomes more dependent as the individual uses money and gains to control others. Obsessions with food and drink can become overpowering, so much that they must take control of the foods they eat. The individual may become possessed with controlling the diet as in food addiction. Transiting Pluto in the 3rd House Travel and learning broaden the mind to perceive the world from a different perspective. The need to achieve their ambitions becomes overwhelming as the will power becomes an obsession. An over exaggeration of self-recognition can interfere with the sense of reality. Relationships with siblings change as there
may be jealousy and extremes in competition. Transiting Pluto in the 4th house Huge upheavals in the family uncover deep issues from the past. Realizations concerning the past and heritage can change the personal identity. The mother’s insecurities and obsessions about the past brings instability to the family. There is a need to change the surroundings instigating a change in residence. The geographical cure seems to be the answer to escaping issues from the past, but the real issues must be addressed. An innate urge for security consumes the mind with insecurities of the past. Car troubles seem to crop up when least expected. Transiting Pluto in the 5th house Creative inventive ideas are profound and deep. Intellectual pursuits will manifest great opportunities. Many may seek advice or guidance from the expertise gained in their studies. Children may be troubling and need supervision. Trying to control them may make them rebel all the more. Studying metaphysical subjects, especially astrology can give great insight. Transiting Pluto in the 6th house Obsessions with the body and a sense of control comes with extreme will power through diet. Extremes in diet control the mind, such as vegetarian or fruitarian. Obsessions about all areas of health and the environment take hold of the consciousness. Extremes in cleaning the environment or animal cruelty take hold and consume the mind with an unstable passion. Situations around the workplace change as coworkers or employees become jealous and make work more difficult. Transiting Pluto in the 7th house Relationships become the focus as the partner’s expectations put undue pressure on the person. Jealousy and deep issues around betrayal become the defining problem, sudden break-ups or unexpected love affairs can destroy trust and love. Any unresolved issues from the past will surface and destroy the relationship if not worked on and healed. Security on all levels is the quest
through love in relationships, as this is the core issue of lacking. Transiting Pluto in the 8th house Financial changes involving other people’s money, inherences, taxes, and settlements becomes the focal point. Resolving these financial matters is important and life changing. Profound and deep psychological transformations change the psychology of the individual. Through changing the core beliefs, a radical shift in awareness takes place. This may come from psychoanalyst, rehabilitation, or treatment centers. Major upheavals concerning the past and addictions can surface. Issues pertaining to sexuality and sexual abuse can severely disturb the consciousness but lead to a profound healing. Connections with the other side, as in near death experiences or psychic experiences awaken the soul. Transiting Pluto in the 9th house Obsessions with a new way of believing or spiritual awakening can lead to a passion that over consumes the mind and consciousness. There is a new level of passion towards the power of teachers and religion or spirituality. This fascination can lead one to cults and controlling groups. Leaders and teachers who offer a new way of life with the promise of enlightenment but control of the mind must be avoided. This can be a time of healing and emotional issues with the father. There is a quest to transform life through new beliefs, perceiving the world through a different lens. Transiting Pluto in the 10th house A quest for a career with purpose and meaning becomes the pursuit. Unfulfilling work becomes unbearable. There are radical shifts in the career or job, such as bosses change or business takeovers. Most importantly, the position or career will change during this time. There is a sense that one must do something that leaves a mark on society and the world through the work. This can sometimes be an obsession and unrealistic, because there is a sense of grandeur and over importance.
Transiting Pluto in the 11th house Friends and social contacts are a source of concern as they become over controlling. The focus on meeting the right influential people consumes the mind. The sense of who you know instead of what you know is an overwriting theme. Friends may control their better judgement as their importance is overvalued. Past issues involving an older sibling will surface to be healed, as it had been a controlling mechanism throughout life, holding one back. Transiting Pluto in the 12th house Issues from the distant past are surfaced for healing. These issues can be revealed through dreams as the subconscious mind plays back many reoccurring themes. Profound realizations concerning karmic issues from many lifetimes are finally surfacing for resolution to bring a new awakening and enlightenment. Many old memories bring emotional unrest and fear of letting go. This is revealed through disturbed sleep. It is time to release the past and prepare for a new beginning. Many of life’s endings are occurring now from retirement to spiritual/physical death of an old life and preparing for a new one.
Chapter 8 Examples of Pluto in Transit Jim Jones and Marshall Applewhite Cult Leaders and Mass Suicide The next two charts to be examined are of two cult leaders who led their followers to a mass suicide, Jim Jones and Marshall Applewhite. Interestingly they were born only four days apart in 1931. Both have the powerful aspect of Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Gemini. Jupiter and Pluto together give the power to control and manipulate others, especially in Gemini which pertains to the area of communications. They were able to mesmerize their followers. Another likeness was debilitated Mars is associated with the 5th house of the mind and intelligence. Applewhite has debilitated Mars in the 5th house, but it does go into parivartana with the Moon somewhat cancelling the debilitation. Jones’ debilitated Mars rules the 5th house and resides in the 8th house indicating a warped mind and intelligence, it does not have any cancelation. Also, he has the Moon tightly conjunct Rahu which is another indication of an obsessive mind. The timing of their mass exodus from the world took place many years apart. The transit of the outer planets especially Pluto were key to understanding the timing of their deaths and surrounding events.
Marshall Applewhite founded Heaven’s Gate in 1974. It was an American UFO religious cult based near San Diego, California. On March 26, 1997, officers discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group, including that of Applewhite, in a house in the San Diego suburb. They had participated in a mass suicide, a coordinated series of ritual suicides, in order to reach what they believed was an extra-terrestrial spacecraft following Comet Hale–Bopp. Apple-white died believing in his cause along with his followers. Jim Jones was a self-professed faith healer, and civil rights activist who conspired with his inner circle to direct a mass murder-suicide of himself and his followers in his jungle commune at Jonestown, Guyana on November 18, 1978. He launched the Peoples Temple in Indiana during the 1950s. Rev. Jones was ordained in 1957 and gained notoriety in the 1970s in San Francisco. He then left the United States, bringing many members to a Guyana jungle commune called Jonestown. In 1978, media reports surfaced of human-rights abuses in the Peoples Temple in Jonestown. U.S. Representative Leo Ryan led a delegation to the commune to investigate. While boarding a return flight with some former cult members who had wished to leave, Ryan and four others were murdered by gunfire. Jones then ordered and likely coerced a mass suicide and mass murder of 918 commune members, 304 of them children, almost all by cyanide-
poisoned Flavor Aid.
Applewhite’s mass exodus to the tail of comet Hale-Bopp occurred when transiting Pluto was 11 degrees of Scorpio in his 9th house which pertains to radical extremes in beliefs. Pluto was in an exact 6/8 relationship with natal Mercury indicating the extremes in radical mental thinking. The 6/8 relationship means that the two planets sit eight and six signs from one another and this aspect relates to both the 6th and 8th house, meaning accidents, injury and death. Mercury is further aspected by transiting Uranus as it squares Mercury. This planet representing the mental faculties are receiving hard aspect simultaneously from two outer planets, Uranus and Pluto, putting the mental cognitive thinking under extreme psychological pressure. Furthermore, transiting Pluto sits in the 8th house from the Moon representing thoughts around death. Mercury is the planet that rules our thinking mind and it is believed in Roman/Greek mythology that Mercury (Hermes) was the only god that could visit the underworld where Pluto (Hades) rules and could leave it. In many myths Mercury had an interesting association with Pluto.
Another interesting transit at the time of his death was transiting Jupiter was 20 degrees of Capricorn in the 11th house of groups and organizations exactly trine natal Ketu in the 7th house of partners. This aspect can represent his spiritual transition to another realm. He totally believed in his fantasy and took his group on their journey.
Jones’ mass exodus was much more violent and a more massive killing, in total 909 people. Jones himself was killed with a gunshot wound to the head and it is unclear if it was a suicide or he was trying to escape. The mental instability is very clear, as noted before with Jones as he has the ruler of the 5th house debilitated Mars (intelligence) in the 8th house and the Moon which rules consciousness of the mind is inflicted with Rahu indicating obsessions. Interestingly enough, he was in the Moon maha dasha and Rahu bhukti at the time of his death. At the time of his death, the real indicator of this radical and volatile event involved the transit of the outer planets. The outer planets represent our psychological subconscious mind and its effects on our emotions and body. Transiting Pluto was 24 degrees Virgo casting an exact square to natal Jupiter, which is empowered by its conjunction to Pluto in the natal chart. Uranus is 23 degrees Libra in exact square to natal Mars representing the violence that came out of this massive suicide. Transiting Neptune was 23 degrees Scorpio in a 6/8 relationship with Jupiter causing confusion and unforeseen violence. His Moon rules the 8th house and at 20 degrees of Pisces was affected by all
three outer planets, as they were close to the Moon’s degree, Pluto opposed the Moon, Uranus was in 8/6 relationship and it was transiting in the 8th house from the Moon. Transiting Saturn was 19 degrees Leo in a 6/8 relationship to the natal Moon, which is a very dire aspect concerning death. Lastly, it is noticeable that many times when a mass exodus occurs it is an awakening for many born of a certain generation. As the outer planets do represent the consciousness of different generations, and when there are major aspects of outer planets to outer planets it affects the masses of those born during these times. There was an aspect of transiting Pluto exactly opposing natal Uranus 24 degrees Virgo/Pisces. This means all who were born with Uranus in Pisces are affected by this event, as all of them will experience the psychological effects of Pluto opposing their Uranus. Uranus was in Pisces from about 19251933. Assassination of President Kennedy: The Truth, Who Killed him? The next Plutonian event is the assassination of President Kennedy and all the individuals involved. As you will come to understand just how the outer planets, especially Pluto, was at the essence of this shocking event. Comparing these charts, we will further see the implications and truth of what really happened during this event. The assassination of Kennedy has been a part of many conspiracies, but the truth is that there is much more to this than the solo gunman Lee Harvey Oswald being the cause in this event. If this was the only truth why is it that Jack Ruby killed him days after in the crowded public jail building, and why is it so many people who knew or reported anything about where they saw the gunfire come from, they mysteriously died or disappeared? Then why did Ruby die soon after as well? Oswald, who shouted, “I'm a patsy!” to nearby reporters at the Dallas jail, and Oswald's killer, Jack Ruby, was quoted as saying, “If you knew the truth, you’d be amazed.” Why did Jacqueline Kennedy fear for her life and the lives of her children so much that she felt the only safe haven was a private Greek island owned by her second husband who promised to keep her safe? She knew something more was
happening than simply Oswald wanting the President dead. She knew anyone who knew the truth and said anything would die. So, if it wasn’t just Oswald who is suspected to be behind all this? How has it remained a secret all this time? Conspiracies claimed it was the Mafia, as the Kennedys especially Robert Kennedy wanted them behind bars. Or could it be Cuba as Castro wanted Kennedy dead. But realistically, if it were these two, the Mafia or Cuba, then it would have been revealed. After all, they are enemies of the United States anyway. The U.S would proudly proclaim the facts behind these two enemies. But there is no proof that they did it because they were not behind this murder. If we still don’t know and this is the best kept secret then the only one behind this assassination is the U.S. government, CIA, or someone who had the power to block any investigation has to have an involvement in this case. The only person powerful enough to block any investigation is the President. This is the only way this has been concealed for so long. Who else could have the power to take out anyone and everyone who knew something about this and still keep it a big secret? And, of course, Jaqueline knew because she knew there was no safe place for her in the U.S. Another clue is that Johnson demanded that he be sworn in immediately and that there was to be no autopsy of the body, which was actually against the law in Dallas at the time. Kennedy was buried only three days later. Why did Johnson suddenly take over? Jackie even kept her blood-stained dress on as Johnson was sworn in, saying she wanted the world to see what they have done. The oil barons of Texas hated Kennedy and accused Kennedy of treason. The oil industry in Texas had enjoyed huge tax concessions since 1926, when Congress had provided them as an incentive to increase much needed prospecting. The oil depletion benefits were somehow left in place and immense fortunes were amassed by those in the industry There was nothing in the world which would have infuriated the oil barons more than the President interfering with the oil depletion allowance. In 2003 Barr McClellan published Blood, Money & Power: How LBJ Killed JFK. In the book McClellan argues that Lyndon B. Johnson and Edward Clark were involved in the planning and cover-up of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. McClellan also named Malcolm Wallace as one of the assassins. The killing of Kennedy was paid for by oil millionaires. McClellan claims that Clark got $2 million for this work.
The assassination of Kennedy allowed the oil depletion allowance to be kept at 27.5 percent. It remained unchanged during the Johnson presidency. According to McClellan, this resulted in a saving of over 100 million dollars to the American oil industry. Soon after Johnson left office, it dropped to 15 percent. I was in second grade in 1963 when Kennedy was assassinated, and remember the evening before watching television and psychic astrologer Jean Dixon came on and begged Kennedy not to go to Dallas or he would be assassinated. This never left my mind and from that moment forward, I have searched for the ways in which she was able to predict the future as the very next day her prediction became a reality. My mother and sisters went to greet Kennedy at the airport shaking his hand 20 minutes before his death. It was such a sad and traumatic day here in Dallas. In my later years, many situations and even omens and dreams kept directing me to the truth about the assassination of Kennedy. We even lived across the street from the surgeon who operated on Kennedy, Dr. Malcom Perry. Recently, I was at a cocktail party with some of the wealthiest women in Dallas. One woman who I have known for years (and is always in the know of everything in Dallas) was there and I whispered in her ear “I think I know who is behind the assassination of Kennedy.” When I told her of the oil men and Johnson, she laughed out loud exclaiming “everyone knows this in Dallas!” But to this day I still cannot say the names of those who surrounded this plot from Dallas because I know the families well. In a way, I am afraid I will be sucked into the curse that surrounds this conspiracy because I know these families have suffered as much death and problems just as the Kennedy’s have. It appears anyone connected has the Kennedy curse. Can we now see how the assassination of Kennedy, and the three charts of John F Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson as to the timing of this event?
The most astounding aspect in the assassination of Kennedy is the transit of the outer planets. Remember, the outer planets detect major events that change the world forever, because they rule the collective mass consciousness of the people. The planet that truly makes its impact is of course in this case Pluto. Since Pluto pertains to life and death and the major transitions in a lifetime and in humanity, it most certainly must be involved in this event and in these individuals’ charts. An aspect that was exact on that day was the quincunx 6/8 relationship between transiting Jupiter at 16 degrees of Pisces to transiting Uranus at 16 degrees Leo. This indicated a shocking sudden event for this day. These two transiting planets tied into the charts of all three individuals involved here. On this most fateful day in Jacqueline’s chart transiting Pluto 20 degrees Leo was on her natal Mars 21 degrees Leo, which rules her 7th house of her marriage partner. Pluto is the bringer of death and traumatic emotional events, and with Mars indicates violence. This must have been beyond belief to experience the death of her husband sitting right next to her in such a violent way as his brains were literally blown out onto her dress. The after effect of this kind of trauma
scares a person for life, but she was expected to go on living as though nothing happened. From Chandra Lagna Mars rules the 8th house from the Moon further implicating a violent death at this time. The Moon is conjunct Rahu in the 7th house of the spouse, indicting famous partners as both her husbands were quite famous, President Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis. Onassis was Greek, a foreigner, as Rahu in the 7th house can represent a foreigner as a spouse. The Moon rules her 10th house of fame and recognition, which both husbands were the reason she came into fame. She was the most photographed person in the world at that time. Another outer planet that was aspecting her chart at the time of the assassination was transiting Neptune on her ascendant, indicating the deception and confusion occurring during this horrifying event. Furthermore, Neptune is the planet that pertains to scandals and secrets, which have clouded this event forever. It is even conjunct natal Ketu in the 1st house indicating the fear of the unknown that consumed her life. Her Ketu and ascendant ruler is Venus which is positioned in her 8th house of humiliation, scandal, and death. As Neptune aspects these two points, the secrets and scandals become deeper and more difficult to deal with. Transiting Uranus was 16 degrees Leo casting an exact square to natal Jupiter in the 8th house of death and Jupiter rules the 6th house of accidents and the 3rd house, which involves traveling as this event occurred while traveling in a car. By the way, then Texas Governor, John Connally, lost a fight with Johnson over motorcade seating arrangements, was forced to ride with Kennedy and was wounded in the shooting. The 1960’s were a time of revolution and change as Pluto and Uranus transited together this entire decade. Both transiting Pluto and Uranus were in her 11th house with her natal Mars and Neptune, indicating deceptive friends. The dispositing planets of these planets in Leo in her 11th house is the Sun, and its placement in the 10th house represents the public and those within the career. This could be indicating Johnson. Lastly transiting Mars was 27 degrees Scorpio opposing natal Venus in the 8 house of death, plus it is the ruler of this house. Venus all by itself rules love th
and relationships and the aspect of Mars indicates an attack on her partner. Transiting Saturn at 23 degrees Capricorn was at the midpoint of her Rahu and Ketu indicating a very karmic event and endings. I believe the most telling aspect for this day has to be the powerful aspect of Pluto right on her natal Mars ruling the 7th house of her spouse. President Kennedy had a very karmic aspect affecting his chart that was dead on! It was transiting Rahu exactly 18 degrees on his natal Ketu in his 10th house. The 10th house is the career and the public office. Transiting Rahu on his natal Ketu and transiting Ketu on his natal Rahu is the fate and destiny he met with this extremely fateful day. We seem to wonder at times if it was all a certain destiny to happen, or if it was avoidable with the aspects in his chart. This occurring in the 10th house actually made his death and fate public as his assassination was viewed publicly on television for all to see the drama repeatedly over the years. Transiting Pluto at 20 degrees Leo was conjunct his natal Moon at 24 Leo in his 12th house of losses. Transiting Uranus was also in the 12th house, but was tightly squaring his natal Sun which ruled the 12th house of losses. The Sun in the 9th house indicates the sudden shock to his father, as the 9th house is the house of the father. Transiting Neptune which always indicates deception, illusion and scandals was opposing Mars and Mercury in the 8th house of scandals and death. Mars is very significant here because it indicates a possible violent death involving weapons such as guns. Natal Mars is conjunct natal Mercury in his 8th house of death, and Mercury is the ruler of his ascendant representing the physical body and the 10th house of career, in which his career position did bring death to the physical body with a weapon. But the most exact aspect that really brought the attack on that day was transiting Mars at 27 degrees in Scorpio exactly aspecting his natal Mercury 27 degrees Aries in the 8th house with a 6/8 quincunx aspect, which is the worst aspect of all when pertaining to accidents, violence and death. Transiting Saturn was squaring both Mars and Mercury too to add even more problems. This 8th house placement of Mars and Mercury are key indicators of his violent death.
The most telling of all these charts is the natal chart of Lyndon Johnson. He has a stellium of five planets in Leo in his first house, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Moon and Mercury. This indicates a very egotistical leader. Mars in particular with the Sun can make for a fiery, ambitious and angry individual. The Moon tightly conjunct Mercury can make one consumed with the mind, being on overload all the time. But Saturn in the 8th house of death from the ascendant and the Moon is very interesting, especially in the sign of Pisces, which is the last and final sign of the zodiac. Saturn in Pisces disposits to Jupiter in the 1st house. Indicating he has had great difficulty in life. It was known that he came from a very poor background and fought his way to the top. He probably resented the privilege of the Kennedys coming from affluence and great wealth. On that fateful day transiting Uranus was exactly conjunct his natal Moon at 16 degrees Leo while transiting Pluto was conjunct his natal Mercury. This was an extremely shocking event and it would not seem like this would be a shock or surprise if he planned it all. But transiting Jupiter was exactly conjunct his natal Saturn in the 8th house indicating a great gain from a death, in which he was very happy over the gains this death brought. Furthermore, as transiting Jupiter was in an exact quincunx with transiting Uranus, they activated both his natal Saturn and natal Moon, as they are in an exact quincunx 6/8 relationship with natal Saturn which is 16 degrees Pisces and natal Moon is 16 degrees Leo both activated by the transiting Uranus and transiting Jupiter 8/6 aspect all 16 degrees exactly in Leo and Pisces. Venus rules his 10th house of career therefore it is his Presidency, and natal Venus is conjunct natal Neptune. Transiting Mars was 8/6 relationship to natal Venus indicating the violence of that day. Mars special aspect is the 8th aspect which not only indicates the 8th house energy of death but it is one of Mars’ strongest aspects. I don’t usually look at the outer planets from one person’s chart to another, considering these planetary energies are generational and not so personal, but I keep seeing a lot of these connections and they must represent a karmic generational tie. Keeping in mind this book is about the power, control, and the death protentional Pluto brings, notice that Johnson’s Rahu sits exactly on Kennedy’s Pluto in his 10th house. Lastly Johnson’s Neptune sits very close to
Kennedy’s Ketu in the 10th house and it was triggered by transiting Rahu on the day of the assassination. This definitely indicates the incredible fate this day brought to the world and the fact that it has never been solved. But with the birth charts, we can see a definite involvement with these three individuals. Maybe it is just that this fate tied them all together in a mysterious way or just maybe it is telling us the truth of the mystery behind the Kennedy assassination. Mystery Surrounding the Death of Marilyn Monroe
Looking at all the corruption, hidden agendas, and scandals of the 1960’s, we will now peer into the mystery behind Marilyn Monroe’s death in1962. This happened before the assassination of President Kennedy. There have been a lot of conspiracies involving President Kennedy and his brother, Bobby Kennedy, with Monroe. Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, model, and singer. Famous for playing comedic “blonde bombshell” characters, she became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and early 1960s, and she was symbolic of the era’s changing attitudes towards sexuality. Long after her death, she has continued to be a major icon of pop culture. In recent decades, there have been a number of conspiracy theories about her death, most of which contend that she was murdered by John and/or Robert Kennedy, with whom she allegedly had love affairs with. These theories claim that the Kennedys killed her (or had her killed) because they feared she would make public their affairs and other government secrets. On August 4, 1962, Robert Kennedy, then attorney general in his older brother’s cabinet, was in fact in Los Angeles. Two decades after the fact, Monroe’s housekeeper, Eunice Murray, announced for the first time that the attorney general had visited Marilyn on the night of her death and quarreled with her. Most agree that her death was likely achieved by a fatal injection, supported by the lack of pill capsules in her body and a small, mysterious bruise on her lower body that was never explained. Monroe was known by close friends for making multiple suicide attempts, in which she always wrote a letter. On that night, no suicide note was ever found. What’s more is “no glass” of water was present at the scene for Monroe to have taken pills. Pills were scattered about, yet there was no drinking glass discovered, not even in the bathroom, which had no running water at the time of the murder. In the coroner’s report, there was no trace of any pills in her stomach. It was reported that barbiturates were injected. The toxicology report said that the drugs were in the blood and the liver indicating they were injected, not taken orally. Her attraction, sexuality, and charisma come from her Mars and Jupiter in the 8th house. Mars as the ruler of the 10th house of fame and also ruler of the 5th
house of acting gives her an unusual sexual charisma in her field, plus Jupiter’s conjunction multiplies its effects. Neptune on the ascendant makes her very photogenic, but Neptune aspecting her Moon makes her behavior unpredictable with an unrealistic and delusional attitude, especially in love since it is opposite (7th) from her Moon. The real mystery of her death is seen by the transit of Neptune as it is exactly 8/6 from the natal Sun in the11th house. The Sun in the 11th house can indicate very powerful and influential friends. The Kennedy’s were most definitely a part of her social circles. The Sun rules the 2nd house which is a maraka house of death. But Neptune means there are some unresolved issues and secrets that may never come out, and it rules drugs as well. Transiting Pluto was also square the Sun impacting the Sun with both the power of Neptune and Pluto, plus transiting Ketu was aspecting (trine) the Sun. The Sun which represents her friends in the 11th house, was receiving aspect from three malefic energies all at once. Transiting Rahu was close to her ascendant while transiting Ketu to the natal Moon. All of the most important personal points in the chart were under affliction, her Sun, Moon and ascendant. Considering Pluto, as the god of the underworld, can indicate the mafia and dark energy, and its placement in the 12th house with Rahu magnifies its power. The answer to this mystery may be seen in the nakshatra dispositors of Rahu and Pluto as they are in Punarvasu which is ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter is in the 8th house with Mars. Here is where the mystery is uncovered for Mars and Jupiter even exchange nakshatra rulers in the 8th house. Mars is in Purva Bhadrapada ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter is in Dhanishta ruled by Mars. This empowers the 8th house tremendously and also connects it to the darkness of Pluto and Rahu in the 12th house. But the 12th and 8th houses pertain to secrets and loss. The 8th house can be either murder or suicide but the connection to Rahu and Pluto tells of the secrets that are involved. Transiting Uranus was in opposition to Jupiter in the 8th house at this time triggering this event but it is truly the transit of Neptune to the Sun that indicates the mystery will remain a mystery. The truth will probably always be covered
up. Another Assassination of the 1960’s Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Christian minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. King is best known for advancing civil rights through nonviolence and civil disobedience, inspired by his Christian beliefs and the nonviolent activism of Mahatma Gandhi. King’s chart is a very powerful example of an individual who had an influential voice. In his 2nd house of the voice he has retrograde Mars with Rahu. Retrograde planets indicate an issue from the past that needs to be healed. A person is born with these issues from a past life and reenacts the same issues to be healed in the current life. Mars can represent issues around anger, therefore there are unresolved issues concerning anger. The 2nd house concerns early childhood, the voice, and the ability to make money. On all these accounts he had issues, but they became his strengths. Behind his powerful oratory ability, he had issues he was expressing that dealt with anger. The issues about inequality with racism was a source of anger in which he fought for and made major strides in healing these issues in society and in himself.
King’s 10th house indicates popularity, fame, and leadership. He has the Sun and Mercury, indicting his power to lead. The Sun and Mercury are in Capricorn, which the dispositor Saturn is in the 9th house of spirituality, indicating his business is about his spirituality. Venus and the Moon are in the 11th house representing his popularity with the public. The outer planets are in a very different position to his chart than the others discussed. Neptune is in an exact trine to Jupiter, both 8 degrees, Jupiter in Aries and Neptune in Leo. The trine aspect must not be overlooked, as these planets will always be conjunct in the navamsha. The navamsha is a divisional chart that reveals what will come of the life of an individual, called the fruit of the tree, it reveals the outcome of life. This puts Neptune with Jupiter in Gemini in the 9th house of spirituality. He made a major contribution in healing the problem of racism. Another trine aspect is Pluto to the Moon and Venus in the 11th house of popularity. While Pluto was in Gemini in the 3rd house and Venus and Moon are in Aquarius the 11th house, these houses indicate teachings and advancement in humanity. At the time of his assassination, the human rights movement was at a peak, and King began a new awareness and healing for humanity. His death made his message even more powerful. Transiting Pluto was opposed his natal Moon representing his deeply emotional cause being brought to the forefront to heal the inequality of racism. The world was transformed from his message and purpose in this lifetime. Furthermore, transiting Ketu at 25 degrees of Virgo was in a quincunx 6/8 relationship causing emotional turmoil and a spiritual quest. Transiting Uranus in the 6th house is exactly square natal Saturn in the 9th house, which indicates an unexpected accident or sudden change that upset the world and society. The world was in shock and horror at the death of this influential voice for peace. The outer planets once again were a part of the profound events that shaped history and created an enormous awakening. Another Assassination of a President, James Garfield
James Garfield was the 20th president of the United States, serving from 1881 until his death by assassination six and a half months later. He is the only sitting member of the United States House of Representatives to be elected to the presidency. On July 2, 1881, Charles J. Guiteau, a disappointed and delusional office seeker, shot Garfield at the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Station in Washington D.C. The wound was not immediately fatal, but he died on September 19, 1881 from infections caused by his doctors. Guiteau was executed for Garfield's murder in June 1882. Garfield’s natal Moon in the 8th house was under attack at the time of his assassination. Transiting Saturn, Mars and Neptune were approaching the natal Moon and Mars in opposition in the 2nd house. The 8th and the 2nd houses concern death. The 2nd house is a maraka house meaning “killer.” Transiting Mars was 15 degrees, and Saturn was 17 degrees of Aries directly aspecting his natal Mars in Libra. Mars also rules the 8th house of death. Transiting Pluto at 6 degrees Taurus directly opposes his natal Sun at 4
degrees Scorpio and Mercury at 8 degrees Scorpio. The Sun rules the 12th house of Loss, and Mercury is his ascendant ruler representing the physical body. Transiting Uranus sits with natal Saturn in the 12th house aspecting natal Pluto. The most powerful and interesting point here is that the outer planets are always involved in huge world changes that affect humanity. The Mysterious Deaths of Bruce Lee and son Brandon Lee
Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong American actor, director, martial artist, martial arts instructor and philosopher. Lee is considered by critics, media, and other martial artists to be the most influential martial artist of all time and a pop culture icon of the 20th century, who bridged the gap between East and West. He is credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films. Lee died on July 20, 1973 at the age of 32. There was no visible external injury; however, according to autopsy reports, Lee’s brain had swollen considerably. The autopsy found Equagesic in his system. When the doctors announced Lee’s death, it was officially ruled a “death by misadventure.”
Bruce Lee’s chart exemplifies a very powerful sense of self or ego when the Sun is on the Ascendant. The Sun rules the 10th house of career and fame. The most dominant issue in his chart concerns health and healing with Jupiter conjunct Saturn in the 6th house opposed a stellium in Libra, Venus, Mars, Moon
and Mercury in the 12th house. These planets are connected to the mystery that surrounds his death, since the 12th house rules secrets. The real mystery that will cloud events surrounding his death involves transiting Neptune directly on his Sun and ascendant. Neptune always concerns confusion and deception, meaning you cannot see the reality. Most importantly it was transiting Rahu and Ketu in the 2nd and 8th house at 13 degrees Sagittarius and Gemini. These are the two houses most involved in death. But what is most significant is that about 18 ½ years later, when the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu return to the same signs, his son Brandon is accidentally killed by gunshot on a movie set while filming a scene.
In 1992, Brandon landed his most notable role as Eric Draven in Alex Proyas’s The Crow (1994), based on the comic book of the same name, which would be his final film. On March 31, 1993, only a few days away from completing the film, Lee was accidentally killed after being shot on the set by a prop gun. The Crow was completed by rewriting the script, using early CGI technology and stunt doubles. It was generally well reviewed and considered to demonstrate Lee’s dramatic abilities. It was a commercial success and is now considered a cult classic. Many saw parallels between Lee and his father comparing their careers as action film leading men who died young, prior to the release of their breakthrough film. He is buried alongside his father in Seattle’s Lake View Cemetery.
Both Brandon and his father died suddenly and mysteriously. At the time of his death, Rahu and Ketu returned about 18 ½ years later. Rahu and Ketu returned to Brandon’s first house where also transiting Uranus and Neptune also sat on his ascendant in Sagittarius. These outer planets always set the stage of life changing events. Both Neptune and Uranus together indicate mystery and sudden unforeseen events. Saturn was transiting both his natal Sun and Moon in Capricorn in the maraka 2nd house. Saturn is also aspecting 8/6 relationship to natal Pluto exactly at 22 degrees Capricorn to 22 Leo. Aspects to natal outer planets are instrumental to major life transformations that actually affect the world and when this occurs the individual will be remembered historically throughout time following their death. Pluto’s Darkest Issue: Sexual Abuse, Rape, Scandals, Shame, Guilt and Humiliation Teri Hatcher
Oprah Winfrey Lady Gaga Jane Fonda Fran Drescher The next series of charts exemplifies the dark energy of Pluto as it pertains to perverse sexual abuse, such as rape. The Greek/Roman myth portrays Pluto as the god of the underworld when Pluto abducted Persephone to the underworld. The 8th house which includes all the meanings of Pluto is the house most linked to sexual perversions as in sexual assault and rape. This is a very dark energy of both the 8th house and Pluto, but it is an issue that must be addressed. Pluto and the 8th house must be dealt with in terms of healing of these issues that can destroy a life. This issue is part of the psychological healing of past trauma that consumes life with shame, guilt, scandals, and humiliation, which are meanings that plague the 8th house and Pluto.
Teri Hatcher is an American actress, writer, presenter and singer. She is best known for her portrayal of Lois Lane on the television series Superman, she won the Golden Globe Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Hatcher was raped by her uncle when she was just five. In 2002, she testified against him, and he was sentenced to 14 years in prison. She has Mars conjunct Pluto, plus Uranus exactly in her 2nd house which represents early childhood and family. Furthermore, they are aspecting the 8th house by opposition. Additionally, from Chandra lagna these planets are in the 8th house with the Sun ruler of the 8th house conjunct Ketu. The humiliation and disgrace of this event as a child can be devastating and have effects for a lifetime. For many, there is no resolution or even support or belief that they are telling the truth. Another natal aspect is Neptune conjunct Venus in the 4th house of security, family and mother. Neptune here always indicates something secretive going on in the family. Hatcher said this abuse persisted for a while. When outer planets are closely conjunct personal planets, there is always a life altering event, and many times they are always remembered beyond their life. During this troubling time for Hatcher, when she was around the age of five, transiting Rahu and Ketu were triggering this powerful dark energy. Transiting Ketu was exactly on the Mars, Pluto and Uranus conjunction in the 2nd house (8th from the Moon). Transiting Pluto was in the 3rd house around 3 - 6 degrees Virgo aspecting by its 6/8 relationship to natal Saturn ruler of the 8th house in the 8th house.
Oprah Winfrey brought the taboo subject of rape and sexual abuse out into the open as she spoke openly about it on her talk show. Some of her past accounts of her ongoing abuse have opened awareness about this hidden dirty secret that has plagued the world for so long. Here are her own words regarding the childhood abuse that shaped her life: “Anybody who has been verbally abused or physically abused will spend a great deal of their life rebuilding their esteem. It was a cultural experience many African-American children went through, being raped and molested. I grew up in an environment where children were seen and not heard, I was beaten regularly. I went to a well to get some water and carry it in a bucket. And I was playing in the water with my fingers, and my grandmother had seen me out the window and she didn’t like it. She whipped me so badly that I had welts on my back and the welts would bleed. And then when I put on my Sunday dress, I was bleeding from the welts. And then she was very upset with me because I got blood on the dress. So, then I got another whipping for getting blood on the dress.” At 9, she was raped. “After the rape he took me to an ice cream shop, blood still running down my leg, and bought me ice cream.”
Winfrey was sexually abused from the ages of 10 to 14, when she found out she was pregnant her mother took her to a detention home. Too many girls were housed there. “My mother said, ‘you are getting your ass out of this house.” So she went to live with her father, who forbade her from dating, having sex, or participating any deviant activity. He didn’t know she was pregnant when she moved in. Two weeks after she had the child, it died. “I buried all of my feelings about it. I really felt like that baby’s life, that baby coming into the world really gave me new life. That’s how I processed it for myself.” She continued: “I would take nothing from my journey. Everybody’s looking for the same thing, that sense of ‘was I okay?’ That means, do you hear me and is what I’m saying important to you.’ Everyone is looking for that validation. “I know what it feels like to not be wanted, you can use it as a stepping stone to build great empathy for people. “I really did believe there was a power greater than myself. Everybody has a story and your story is as equally as valuable and important as my story. My story just helped define and shape me as does everybody’s story. The one thing I most regret is I wasn’t able to move the needle far enough on abuse in this country. “Too many people still don’t understand sexual abuse is not just about the act of abuse, but about the misuse of trust and shame that follow.” Winfrey’s chart exemplifies the traumatic loss and the hidden secrets of her shame and humiliation with the Mars and Moon conjunction in her 12th house of secrets. Mars rules her 5th house of children and the Moon rules the 8th house of scandals sexual abuse. As they both reside in the 12th house of loss, her experience was the loss of her child. Ketu in her 8th house exactly trines (full aspect) her Mars in the 12th house adding to the trauma and loss of these planets. They are conjunct in the 4th house of the home and mother in the navamsha chart, and Mars is debilitated and rules the 8th house here. This helps better understand the dysfunctional relationship she had with her mother. Natal Pluto is in the 9th house of the father and exactly squares natal Mars
representing the strict controlling father she went to live with, but who ended up transforming her life. Around the time she lost her child at age 14, transiting Neptune was directly on natal Mars in the 12th house indicating her secret that later came out from a family member who betrayed her confidence in a news story. Transiting Pluto was still in her 9th house but in a 6/8 relationship with natal Mercury in the 2nd house of family and early childhood. Mercury also rules the 8th house from the Moon. In her natal chart both Pluto and Rahu are in an exact 6/8 relationship both at 0 degrees representing her trauma in childhood as Mercury is in the 2nd house. Her 2nd house Rahu tells of the turmoil of her childhood but later resulted in her uncanny material success. Especially since her Venus is expanded by Rahu, and has a parivartana (mutual exchange) with exalted Saturn in the 11th house of gains. Connecting the 2nd house of money with the 11th house of great gains in this manner is outstanding for financial gains. The 2nd house is also the house for the voice which she became one of the most popular talk show hosts of her time. The aspect of Jupiter to her 2nd house adds even more power to this combination. She is one of the wealthiest and most influential women of our time. She most definitely is helping the world heal the dark secret of the humiliation and the shame of rape and sexual abuse.
Lady Gaga, a talented musician and songwriter, revealed to radio host Howard Stern that she had been raped by a record producer twenty years her senior when she was 19 years old. The pop star’s single, Swine, is about the incident. The song is about demoralization, rage, fury, and passion.
Jane Fonda awarding winning actress daughter of legendary actor Henry Fonda revealed she was raped and sexually abused as a child. “I’ve been raped, I’ve been sexually abused as a child and I’ve been fired because I wouldn’t sleep with my boss.” She also noted, “I always thought it was my fault; that I didn’t do or say the right thing.” In both charts, Lady Gaga and Jane Fonda have natal Moon conjunct Pluto. Fonda has Mars in the 2nd house of early childhood but it is in the 8th house from the Moon revealing the deep past and difficulty concerning childhood and 8th house of secrets and sexuality.
Francine Drescher is an American actress, comedian, writer, and activist. She is best known for her role as Fran Fine in the hit TV series The Nanny (1993– 1999), and for her nasal voice and thick New York accent. In January 1985, two armed robbers broke into Drescher’s Los Angeles apartment. While one ransacked their home, Drescher and a female friend were raped by the other at gunpoint. Jacobson, her husband, was also physically attacked, tied up, and forced to witness the entire ordeal. Drescher has Ketu in her 8th house aspecting the Pluto and Mercury in her 12th house of secret enemies indicating thieves and robbers. The most significant transiting aspect for the day this nightmare happened was that transiting Mars was exactly opposed natal Mercury 27 degrees Aquarius to 27 Leo. Mercury is conjunct Pluto in the 12th house. Sometimes Neptune is a planet involved in scandals and secrets and transiting Neptune was on her natal Moon in the 4th house in Mula ruled by Ketu, which is in her 8th house. Neptune pertains to things you can’t see, and this was such an unusual horrific event, as she wasn’t even alone and in her own home (4th house).
Pluto and Suicide: Robin Williams
On August 11, 2014, famed actor and comedian Robin Williams’ committed suicide in his home by hanging. This exemplifies the issue of suicide which is attributed to Pluto and the 8th house.
Robin had a long history of addiction with drug and alcohol abuse. This can be seen with his Moon conjunct Rahu in Shatabhishak. This nakshatra deals with hard to cure diseases and addictions, and he had discovered before his suicide that he had Lewy body disease, which is a form of dementia. Williams, as so many people who are legendary and go down in history, will be remembered forever. He has two personal planets tightly conjunct outer planets. Mars is conjunct Uranus and Pluto is conjunct Mercury. Mars conjunct Uranus in the 9th house has a lot to do with his quick-witted mind but volatile behavior. The 9th house is the house of the father, and Uranus and Mars here accounts to an unpredictable angry father. Robin’s father, a Ford Motor Company exec, Robert Williams, was a successful workaholic. He divorced his first wife and married a former model 16 years his junior Laurie Williams, Robin’s mother. On the rare occasion when Robin’s father was home, Robin described his father as “frightening.” He berated his son if he didn’t excel in school. Then, when Robin brought home an “A,” his father withheld appropriate praise. Both of his parents were rarely home so his constant companion was television and this is where he developed his love of acting. One day he discovered that making his mom laugh was the only way to earn her attention. It was also the tool he used to avoid the vicious bullying he received at school, and elevate him to one of the most popular kids in school. Pluto conjunct his Mercury gave him an intense probing mind, but the dispositor planet of Mercury and Pluto in Cancer is the Moon in the 5th house of creativity and talent, plus the Moon is expanded with Rahu. In a sense it is a blessing and a curse because the mind is overly expanded creatively but is overly extended into the realm of addictions. The Moon as ruler of his 10th house brought him fame and attention for his talent. The transiting planets were key to is his sudden and unexpected suicide. The outer planets were hitting head on at this time. Transiting Pluto was exactly opposing natal Uranus and Mars. Mars is the ruler of his maraka (killer) houses 2 and 7. There must have been a deep-seated anger behind his suicide since it was so violently committed by hanging. Both transiting Ketu and Uranus were in his 6th house of health close to his
natal Jupiter ruler of 6th house indicating his deteriorating health issues. Transiting Ketu was also aspecting his natal Mercury (trine), as it is in the 6th house from the Moon and ruler of the 8th house from the Moon. While transiting Saturn was fully aspecting natal Mercury. Lastly transiting Mars was close to the ascendant at the time of his suicide. Williams was a very complex and talented person who struggled with the need for the attention and love he never received as a child. His death was an unexpected shock to the world, and he will be dearly missed.
On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American man, was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while being arrested for allegedly using a counterfeit bill. Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for several minutes while Floyd was handcuffed, lying face down, and
repeatedly saying “I can't breathe” and “please,” and calling for his mother. Officers J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane further restrained Floyd, while officer Tou Thao prevented bystanders from intervening. During the final two minutes, Floyd was motionless and had no pulse while Chauvin ignored the pleas of the onlookers to remove his knee, which he did not do until medics told him to. The following day, after videos made by witnesses and security cameras became public all four officers were fired. Two autopsies found Floyd’s death to be a homicide. Chauvin was initially charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, to which was later added second-degree murder. The three other officers were charged with second-degree murder. Floyd’s death triggered worldwide protests against police brutality, police racism, and lack of police accountability. In early June, the Minneapolis City Council voted on an intent to restructure the police department as a “new community-based system of public safety.” The Minneapolis Police Chief cancelled contract negotiations with the police union and announced plans to bring in outside experts to examine how the union contract can be restructured to provide transparency and “flexibility for true reform.” Floyd’s death instigated worldwide protests for the injustices of the treatment of the black population around the world. Protesters burned cities over “Black Lives Matter.” He was the last straw that infuriated people around the world. His death will make him legendary as he will always be remembered as a key component to the change that will transform the awareness of racism. Many changes are occurring since his death. Individuals that have outer planets tightly conjunct natal planets are well known after their death. Their legacy lives on beyond their life. In Floyd’s chart, the Sun is tightly conjunct Uranus and Venus is exactly conjunct Neptune. Another very intense aspect was Pluto is exactly 8/6 from retrograde Mars. Since we do not have a time of birth for Floyd, we will look at his chart from Chandra lagna. Mars is ruler of the 12th house placed in the 12th house and retrograde indicates passive aggressive anger issues, meaning an inability to express anger properly. Mars is in Ashwini ruled by Ketu, and Ketu sits in the 2nd house with Saturn, indicating a difficult childhood. Pluto in the 5th house and Saturn in the
2nd house are exactly square each other at 11 degrees. All these connections point to the fact that he will be remembered through his death. The transiting planets are a major trigger as to the events that his life and death set off. The nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu are always imperative in dramatic life changes, and at his death he had the nodal inversion occurring with transiting Rahu on Ketu in the 2nd house and transiting Ketu on Rahu on the 8th house. There was a nodal inversion at the time of Kennedy’s assassination. Transiting Uranus was close to Mars in the 12th house, indicating possible accidents and threats from secret (unexpected) enemies. Transiting Neptune brings unforeseen events and is in the 10th house, which indicates the public attention this event received worldwide. It aspects the Sun and Uranus in an 8/6 relationship. The Sun as the ruler of the 4th house can indicate the end of life. Floyd’s chart is an example of an unsuspecting individual that comes to the world for a purpose to make a change in humanity.
Conclusion Pluto is the planet that sits on the final frontier of our solar system, representing the boundaries of the unknown and what is beyond. It is the planet that represents power beyond our earthly realm meaning it is a part of both our own personal sense of power and a power that is beyond our understanding, our higher power. The outer planets are incredibly powerful because they take charge of our psychological mind, therefore control our world and mind subconsciously. We may think we are in control, but actually, when we come to realize there is a higher power that controls us all, we regain control in our lives by ultimately surrendering to this Divine Power. We will come to understand we are all a part of this Supreme Ultimate Power. The more we try to control things in our lives with the personal ego, the more our life will spiral out of control. Surrendering to the Divine is the powerful transformation that always heals our life and this earthly struggle. Addictions are obsessions to what we believe we desperately need. They are the attachments we feel we cannot live without. These obsessions limit growth and stifle our mind. These desires create unconscious reactions that we feel fill an empty void that is the result of something denied in our past. Dysfunctional relationships are usually the result that lead us to sabotage our growth and happiness. Pluto always eliminates that which is not growth producing. At the time, it feels like the very worst thing in life is happening, but years later we realize it was the best thing, as our life takes a turn for the better and places us on our Divine path. The three outer planets are invisible to the naked eye, we cannot see the power they have over us in the physical world. The seven planets used in Vedic astrology control various physical things in our lives, but the three outer planets rule the psychological things that control our behavior and therefore our lives. This is a power that cannot be denied or ignored. The outer planets rule generations of people, meaning certain groups of people believe in a certain way and are not able to conceive what another group or generation is believing. This actually dictates the changes in the timelines
throughout history. In this process, each generation leads to a new breakthrough in thinking, progressing mankind into a more evolved evolution. Pluto is the most perverse and extreme planet of all, for it rules the most radical changes that take us into this world, birth and take us out of this world, death. These extremes of life and death also include the many transformational changes within our lifetime. Pluto rules over the underworld, meaning all the dark forces of our shadow side, that which we repress because it is the ugly part of the self. This actually transcends to the shadow side of all of humanity. This rules the perversions of the ego consumed with power and control. The ways in which we control others, sexual abuse, control through the power of money, and ultimately the power that threatens with death used in many religious philosophies. Control and manipulation of others is only a false sense of power and control because true power only comes when one is able to let go of earthly control and surrender to the ultimate power, which is to merge with the Divine. This alleviates all earthly addictions, attachments, and illusions and this is the final frontier beyond this world understanding true Divine Power. The ultimate realization involves the process of these three psychological planets, one after another. Uranus is the awakening beyond the limits of the mind, Neptune is the realization of unconditional love, and, finally, Pluto is the realization of who we really are, which is the God source beyond this world. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury pertaining to the thinking mind, Neptune is the higher octave of Venus pertaining to love, and Pluto is the higher octave of Mars pertaining to energy and power. The higher energies of these planets are so very hard to attain because they are a part of a world we cannot see or understand. Uranus is the vast universal mind that breaks the boundaries of conventional thinking, Neptune is the bliss of unconditional love which does not exist on the earthly plane, and Pluto is the power beyond the earthly hierarchy of the laws of man. Using these three outer planets gives us a dimension to better understand the multidimensional quality of our inner world of consciousness, applying it to our outer world of our existence in our lives. There is so much to understand but we cannot see it, and the more we try to be in control and grasp the understanding, the more out of control we become. As a result, we come to understand there is a Divine Order to the Universe and to simply surrender will grant us the wisdom
and learning our experiences in life provide. We must get beyond our thinking mind, Uranus, beyond earthly love, and beyond the sense of power and control to the vast expansion of the oneness and unity of all. This is the total and final transformation we are all here to go through within our minds, heart, and soul. The three outer planets transcend this world and those who are born with these planets closely aligned with personal planets have an important purpose to help the world grow and transform. This can be seen in the charts of some of the transformative people used throughout my trilogy of the three outer planets. My hope is that I may be remembered beyond my grave for my work as an astrologer to help enlighten the world to the value and understanding of astrology. For I have Jupiter and Pluto exactly conjunct at 5 degrees of Leo, conjunct the fixed star Regulus in my 3rd house.
