2: Making Money Through eBay Drop Shipping! The Concept We are going to use arbitrage to make money on eBay. Arbitrage, is the simultaneous sale and purchase of an asset in order to profit from the difference in prices. Example: We have a chair posted on eBay for $50. The exact same chair is listed on Amazon for $20. When the chair is purchased from our eBay account, we use $20 of the $50 we just received to purchase the chair from Amazon and send it to our buyer. This gives me 7.28. $56-$7.28-$40= $8.72 SO: If I sell the item at $56 I would, after eBay and PayPal fees, make a profit of eight dollars and seventy two cents. However, $56 SOUNDS high to me. Therefore, I would sell the chair at $55.23 ($8.05 profit).. and i'd sell it at that price all day long. You're going to have to practice pricing things so that you get a feel for them, but your goal is to undercut people, keep the numbers low ($55.23= low numbers), and still make a profit margin of around eight dollars per sale. If you can consistently sell five things a day at an eight dollar profit margin, you'll walk with $1200 a month. There is one more step before we finish up your ad setup and that it your target audience. Login to your ad manager then go to tools and then audience insights. Once it loads click on everyone on Facebook.
