What is anger?
Anger doesn’t feel very good.
You get angry when something happens that you don’t like.
Anger can make you feel like you’re going to explode like a volcano.
Or you might feel like a kettle that’s about to boil.
What happens when you feel angry?
Something happens that you don’t like. Your body notices and tells your brain.

Being angry doesn’t make you bad—it’s normal to sometimes just feel that way.
Anger can be useful because it tells you when things are not right. It’s not fair.
Sometimes it’s good to know you’re about to get angry. How does it make you feel?

Or your tummy feels funny...

2. Take some big, deep breaths.
3. If you can, do something else for a little while.
