Now that Summer is just around the corner, this is a great time of year to get your grill ready to cook up some tasty home grilled meals! During the warm season is the perfect time to plan to get together with family and friends to share a healthy and tasty grilled meal together, while you spend some quality time together! My beginner’s collection of home grilled recipes is simple and easy-to-prepare so that you will not be overwhelmed with complicated prep work of your meals but instead will be able to share and enjoy a savoury home grilled meal with those close to your heart! I have included a wide variety of home grilled recipes that will suit a wide range of tastes, so I am sure that you will discover many recipes that will satisfy all who are dining at your table! It is a good idea to plan ahead before a gathering, find out what kind of foods your guests prefer. You might even want to suggest a couple of selections of home grilled recipes for them to choose from. It will certainly make things easier for you if you know what types of foods your guests are partial to. Collection of Home Grilled Recipes

Tropical Teriyaki Kabobs

A fun and tasty meal that is quick and easy to prepare! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 6 minutes per side Servings: 4 Ingredients: 1 lb. Beef, cubed 2 garlic cloves, minced ¼ cup of brown sugar ½ cup of soy sauce 1 (16-ounce) can of pineapple chunks in juice ½ teaspoon ginger, minced ¼ cup scallion, sliced 2 teaspoons sesame oil ½ teaspoon lemongrass, sliced Directions: 1. Get a large zip-loc bag, then place all of the ingredients into bag and seal it. 2. Shake the bag to coat ingredients, then place into the fridge for about 3 hours. 3. Preheat your grill and grease it.

4. Drain your pineapple chunks and beef from the marinade. Thread pieces alternating onto four skewers. 5. Grill the skewers for about 6 minutes per side. Serve warm and enjoy!

Grilled Tofu Asian Style

A perfect Asian dish to serve on a warm sunny day! Prep Time: 8 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 2 Ingredients: 2 pieces of firm tofu 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1 large mango, peeled and shredded a dash of black pepper ¼ cup of fish sauce Directions: 1. Set your grill to medium heat setting and lightly grease the grill grate. 2. Coat your tofu with the soy sauce, then season with black pepper. 3. Cook your tofu on your grill for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown on both sides. 4. Arrange the shredded mango on large serving platter, then top with tofu. Cover with fish sauce, serve and enjoy!

Hot Beef Kabobs

Have fun grilling up these tasty Kabobs they make for an easy-to-prepare meal! Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 40 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 24-ounce dry-aged boneless beef tenderloin, cut into strips 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon coriander seed 2 stalks lemongrass 2 garlic cloves, minced ¼ cup fish sauce ¼ cup dry roasted peanuts, crushed Peanut Sauce: ½ cup chicken broth ½ teaspoon sugar 1 red chili, seeded and sliced 1 tablespoon peanut butter ¼ cup Hoisin sauce 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 teaspoons chili paste

1 tablespoon peanut oil ¼ cup roasted peanuts, ground Directions: 1. In your food processor, add the garlic, brown sugar, lemon grass, coriander, fish sauce and pulse until a smooth paste is formed. 2. In a mixing bowl, add the meat and marinade, place in the fridge for about 24 hours. 3. For the peanut sauce, add oil to a pot and cook until heated through. 4. Add the garlic, chili and tomato paste and sauté for about 2 minutes. 5. Add the peanut butter, Hoisin sauce, sugar and broth, then cook for another 4 minutes. 6. Remove the pot from heat and set aside to cool. 7. Stir in the peanuts and chilies then keep aside. 8. Set your grill to high heat setting and lightly grease the grill grate. 9. Thread the beef onto skewers, then place them onto the grill over direct heat. Cook until desired doneness is reached. 10. Garnish beef Kabobs with roasted peanuts and sauce. Serve and enjoy!

Broccoli on the Grill

Enjoy this great way to prepare your broccoli by grilling it! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: 6 cups of fresh broccoli stems ¾ cup of Parmesan cheese, grated 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice sea salt and black ground pepper to taste Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl, add your lemon juice, oil, salt, pepper and mix well. 2. Add the broccoli stems and toss to coat. 3. Set the broccoli stems aside for about 30 minutes. 4. Set your grill to medium heat setting and grease the grill grate. 5. Toss the broccoli stems, then remove them from the bowl and discard the marinade. 6. Add the Parmesan cheese and broccoli in a resealable bag.

7. Seal the bag and shake well to coat. 8. Place your broccoli onto the grill over indirect heat, covered in foil for about 20 minutes. Turn over about half way through grilling time. Serve warm and enjoy!

Grilled Country Catfish

If you are in the mood for fish, I would suggest you try this grilled catfish recipe! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 4 (6-ounce) catfish fillets 3 teaspoons paprika 1 ½ teaspoons cumin, ground 3 teaspoons chili powder ½ teaspoon garlic powder 2 teaspoons sea salt 1 ½ teaspoons coriander, ground Directions: 1. Set your grill to a medium heat setting and grease the grill grate. 2. In a mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients except the catfish fillets and mix well.

3. Add the catfish fillets and coat with the spice mixture generously. 4. Cook the catfish fillets on your grill for about 10 minutes per side or until cooked through. Serve hot and enjoy!

Grilled Flatbreads

Here is a quick and easy dish to prepare using grilled eggplant slices! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 8 slices country bread 4 slices eggplant extra virgin olive oil as needed 2 cups arugula leaves, chopped 8-ounces of sliced mozzarella cheese Directions: 1. Coat your eggplant slices evenly with oil. 2. Place the eggplant slices in a Grill and cook for 4 minutes. 3. Transfer the cooked eggplant slices onto a plate. 4. Now, lightly coat one side of each slice of bread with oil. 5. Place 4 bread slices onto a platter, with oiled side down and top with

eggplant, arugula, and mozzarella cheese. 6. Cover each with the remaining 4 bread slices with the oiled side facing up. 7. Place 2 sandwiches on hot grill and cook covered for 4 minutes. 8. Repeat process with remaining sandwiches. Slice each sandwich in half diagonally, serve and enjoy!

Hot Glazed Mahi Mahi Fillets

If you are in the mood for a tasty fish dish, then I suggest you try this recipe! Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: Fish: 4 (7-ounce) Mahi Mahi fillets 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper 1 tablespoon sea salt

Salsa: 2 cups of mangoes, peeled and cubed 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 habanero pepper, seeded and chopped 2 teaspoons olive oil ½ cup grape tomatoes, quartered ¼ cup cilantro, fresh chopped ½ lemon, juiced ½ lime, juiced ½ cup sweet kernel corn 1 teaspoon pepper Directions: 1. For your salsa, add in a bowl all of the ingredients except for the mango, and mix well. 2. Cover the bowl, then place in the fridge overnight. 3. Set your grill to medium heat setting and lightly grease the grill. 4. Cook your Mahi Mahi fillets for 10 minutes on the grill, turning half way through grill time. 5. Remove from the grill and sprinkle fillets with pepper and salt evenly. 6. In the bowl with salsa, add the mango and gently stir to mix. 7. Enjoy your Mahi Mahi fillets served alongside the salsa.

Sweet & Sour Grilled Fish

A delightfully tasty and easy-to-prepare fish dish that makes for the perfect meal on a hot day! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 2 Ingredients: 2 salmon steaks cooking spray ¼ teaspoon garlic salt ¼ teaspoon ground pepper 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1 ½ tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 ½ tablespoons honey Directions: 1. Set your grill to medium heat setting and lightly grease the grill grate. 2. In a mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients except for the salmon steaks and mix until well combined.

3. Add the salmon steaks and coat with the mixture. 4. Place the salmon steaks on your grill and cook for about 6 minutes, flipping once half way through grill time. Serve hot and enjoy!

Tropical Hot Glazed Chicken Cutlets

Enjoy this yummy and easy-to-prepare chicken dish with a tropical flare! Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Servings: 8 Ingredients: Chicken: 4 large chicken breasts Marinade: pineapple juice 1 tablespoon black pepper 2 tablespoons garlic, minced 2 tablespoons thyme, minced 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil pinch of sea salt Salsa: 1 chipotle chile, seeded and chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice 1 teaspoon ginger, fresh grated 1 mango, diced 1 (15-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained ½ Vidalia onion, chopped ½ cup cilantro, fresh chopped 1 red pepper, diced 1 garlic, minced sea salt as needed Directions: 1. For your salsa, in a mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and combine well. 2. Place in your fridge to chill before using. 3. Add the marinade ingredients to a zip-loc bag, along with chicken breasts. 4. Seal the bag and shake well to coat chicken breasts. 5. Place bag in fridge for about 45 minutes. 6. Set your grill to high heat and lightly grease the grill grate. 7. Place the chicken breasts onto the prepared grill. 8. Grill breasts for about 10 minutes, flipping over once half way through grill time. 9. Set the grill to low setting and continue to grill for an additional 5 minutes. 10. Serve chicken hot alongside the salsa and enjoy!

Pam’s Grilled Beef

If you are craving some beef, then I would suggest you try my grilled beef recipe! Prep Time: 48 hours Cook Time: 45 minutes Servings: 8 Ingredients: 1 beef tenderloin ¼ cup of fresh cracked black pepper

1 cup olive oil ½ cup thyme, fresh chopped ½ cup rosemary, fresh chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced soaked hickory chips Sauce: 6 teaspoons horseradish 1 cup mayonnaise 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons lemon juice salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Place in your blender the fresh herbs, garlic, oil, black pepper and pulse until smooth. 2. Coat the beef tenderloin with the mixture evenly. 3. Wrap the tenderloin in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 48 hours. 4. When preparing the sauce, add all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl, and mix until well combined. 5. Place sauce mix in your fridge to chill for the day. 6. Remove the beef tenderloin from the fridge and keep it at room temperature for about 2 hours before grilling. 7. Set your grill to medium-high heat setting and lightly grease the grill grate. 8. Season your tenderloin with salt evenly. 9. Set a pan of soaked hickory chips onto the lower rack of grill. 10. Make sure the grill is set to medium heat. 11. Place the tenderloin onto the rack over the chips and cook for about 60 minutes. 12. Serve the tenderloin along with sauce and enjoy!

Summer Cookout Pizza

Here is a tasty fun pizza recipe that the whole family is sure to love preparing for a Summer meal! Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Servings: 12 Ingredients: 1 (1 lb.) package of frozen bread dough Garnish: onion, chopped herbs shaved Parmesan cheese tomatoes, sliced fresh asparagus, chopped turkey bacon, chopped Spice Mix: 2 teaspoons oregano, ground

1 teaspoon onion powder ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper 1 cup extra virgin olive oil basil, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper ¼ teaspoon cumin, ground ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon sea salt ½ teaspoon curry powder Directions: 1. For your seasoning, add all the ingredients into a pot over low heat and cook until just warmed, while constantly beating. 2. Remove seasoning mixture from heat, then place aside at room temperature for about 2 hours. 3. Set your grill to medium heat setting, then lightly grease the grill grate. 4. To prepare pizza bread: lightly flour the back of a 15x 10-inch baking sheet. 5. With your hands stretch the dough out to fit the baking sheet. 6. Arrange your stretched dough onto the back of the baking sheet. 7. Coat the surface of your dough with the seasoned oil, evenly. 8. Gently, flip the baking sheet onto the grill grate over the direct heat, then remove the baking sheet. 9. Coat the top side of your dough with seasoned oil generously. 10. Cook for about 3 minutes. 11. Carefully, flip the side of dough and coat the top with seasoned oil. 12. Cook for about 4 minutes. 13. Remove the crust from the grill and set aside on a wire rack to cool slightly.

14. Arrange your desired toppings on the crust. 15. Place your pizza onto the grill and cook, until the doneness to your liking. Repeat with 2 remaining dough balls. Serve hot and enjoy!

Honey Mustard Chicken

Here is a tasty and easy-to-prepare chicken dish that is popular in my home! Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons grainy mustard 2 teaspoons curry powder 2 tablespoons liquid honey ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon sea salt ¼ cup coriander, chopped Directions: 1. Set your grill to a medium heat setting and lightly grease the grill grate. 2. In a bowl, add your honey, oil, mustard, cinnamon, curry powder, garlic

powder, salt, pepper, and mix well until combined. 3. Coat your chicken breasts with this mixture generously. 4. Cook the chicken breasts on grill for 10 minutes, flipping and coating often with remaining marinade. 5. Enjoy chicken with garnishing of coriander.

Southern Yams

A great and tasty recipe for yams that your loved ones are sure to enjoy! Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 50 minutes Servings: 2 Ingredients: 2 teaspoons honey 1 tablespoon butter, softened 1 large sweet potato, halved lengthwise sea salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Set your grill to medium-high heat. 2. Set each potato half onto an 18×12-inch piece of foil. 3. Add the butter onto the cut side of each potato half and season with salt and pepper. 4. Fold each piece of foil over the potatoes tightly to seal. 5. Place your foil packet on the grill and cook, covered for about 50 minutes,

flip once half way through cook time. 6. Remove from grill and carefully open the foil packet. 7. Fluff the potatoes with fork and enjoy with a topping of honey.

Summer Bruschetta Bread

Here is a yummy bread dish to serve to your guests at a summer barbecue! Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 5 Ingredients: 1 loaf crusty bread, sliced into 10 slices 3 plum tomatoes, diced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/3 cup olive oil 1 teaspoon onion, diced salt and black ground pepper ½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar

Directions: 1. Set your grill to high heat and lightly, grease your grill grate. 2. In a mixing bowl, add your oil and garlic, then mix well. 3. Set mixture aside for about 10 minutes. 4. Coat both sides of each bread slice with a thin layer of the oil. 5. Cook the bread slices onto the grill until toasted. 6. In the bowl with the remaining garlic oil, add your tomatoes, herbs, onion, vinegar, salt and pepper, then mix well. 7. Add tomato mixture over each slice, then serve and enjoy!

Grilled Tikka Masala

A great summertime chicken dish that is sure to please all feasting at your table! Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed 1 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon garlic, pressed ½ teaspoon ground cumin 1 tablespoon ginger, grated ½ teaspoon turmeric, ground 2 ½ tablespoons cayenne pepper salt and black ground pepper melted butter lime wedges for garnish

Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl, add your cubed chicken along with lemon juice and mix well. 2. In another mixing bowl, add your yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin, turmeric, cayenne, salt, pepper and mix well. 3. Add the chicken and coat with the marinade. 4. Place coated chicken into the fridge for about 6 hours. 5. Set your grill to medium heat and lightly grease the grill grate. 6. Thread your chicken cubes onto skewers. 7. Cook the skewers on grill for about 12 minutes, flipping over about half way through the grill time. 8. Serve alongside some lime wedges and enjoy!

Grilled Corn

Corn is a summer dish that many love, this grilled corn recipe is sure to please! Prep Time: 35 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: ice cold water 4 ears sweet corn Directions: 1. Pull the husks of each cob of corn back to within 2-inches from the base. 2. Remove the silk and then smooth the husks back into place, covering the kernels. 3. In a bowl of ice water, place the cobs of corn inside for about 30 minutes. 4. Drain the corn and shake off the excess water. 5. Set your grill for medium-high heat and grease your grill grate.

6. Place the corn on your grill and cook for about 15 minutes, turning often. 7. Serve your grilled corn cobs warm and enjoy!

Hot Chicken Quarters

A tasty chicken dish with a bit of spice makes for a perfect summer meal! Prep Time: 4 hours Cook Time: 20 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 4 garlic cloves, minced 1 bunch green onion, cut into 2-inch lengths 2 inches piece peeled fresh ginger, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon allspice 1 tablespoon thyme, freshly chopped 1 whole cinnamon stick, broken into small pieces 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 3 jalapeno peppers, diced ¼ cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar juice of 4 limes ½ cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoons ground black pepper 4 chicken leg quarters, quartered Directions: 1. In a food processor combine your ingredients, except for the oil and chicken. Blend until smooth. Add in the oil to make the marinade. 2. Add to a large Ziploc bag along with the chicken quarters with 2/3 of the marinade. Place in your fridge for about 4 hours. 3. Preheat your grill and lightly grease it. 4. Drain the chicken quarters from the marinade. Cook for about 10 minutes per side, while drizzling the remaining marinade over it. 5. Serve your grilled chicken warm and enjoy!

Grilled Crab

A yummy treat to cook on your grill with some tasty crab for a seafood feast! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 6 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of olive oil 4 lb. King crab legs, cooked Directions: 1. Prepare your grill and grease the grate.

2. Coat your crab legs with the olive oil evenly. 3. Place the crab legs onto your grill about 6-inches from the coals for about 3 minutes per side. Serve hot and enjoy!

Summer Grilled Burgers with Homemade Teriyaki

Here is a perfect burger recipe to serve at a family barbecue! Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: ¼ cup honey ¼ cup soy sauce 1 teaspoon ginger 2 lbs. Ground chuck ½ teaspoon sea salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper 6 hamburger buns 1/3 cup mayonnaise 2 cloves garlic, minced Directions: 1. Set your grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease the grate. 2. In a mixing bowl, add the honey, garlic, soy sauce, ginger and mix until well combined. 3. In another bowl, add the mayonnaise and 2 teaspoons of honey mixture and mix well. Set aside.

4. In a third mixing bowl, combine the beef, 1/3 cup of honey mixture, salt, pepper and mix well. 5. Make six beef patties from the mixture. 6. Coat each of the patties with the remaining honey mixture. 7. Cook your patties on the grill for about 4 minutes per side. 8. Spray the cut sides of buns with cooking spray. 9. Place the buns on the grill with the cut side down and cook for 2 minutes. 10. Place the mayonnaise mixture over the cut side of each bun. 11. Place the patties on the bottom half of each bun. Cover with top part of bun and enjoy!

Sweet Vegetarian Skewers

Here is a wonderful and tasty vegetarian dish that will make for a healthy meal! Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: The Marinade: ¾ cup olive oil ¼ cup light soy sauce 1 tablespoon dry mustard 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon parsley 1 ½ teaspoons ground pepper 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 1 tablespoon honey ¼ cup pineapple juice 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Veggies: 12 slices eggplants 12 cherry tomatoes 12 small onions 2 yellow peppers, cut into squares 12 zucchini slices 12 yellow squash slices 12 pineapple chunks Directions: 1. To prepare your marinade place all of the ingredients into a food processor, then pulse until smooth. 2. In a resealable bag, add your marinade and all of the remaining ingredients. 3. Seal the bag and shake to coat well. 4. Place bag in your fridge for about 1 hour. 5. Set your grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease the grate. 6. Remove the vegetables and pineapple chunks from the bag, reserving the marinade. 7. Thread the pineapple and veggies onto the skewers. 8. Cook on your grill for about 10 minutes, flipping and coating with the reserved marinade. 9. Serve your veggie dish warm and enjoy!

Grilled Buttered Steak

Prep Time: 3 hours Cook Time: 30 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: Steak: 1 teaspoon sea salt 2 teaspoons ground black pepper 6 large garlic cloves, minced ¼ cup olive oil 1 (2 lb.) porterhouse steak 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped Butter: 2 teaspoons Parmesan cheese, grated 3 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon Dijon mustard ¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Directions: 1. For your butter, mix in a bowl the ingredients until well combined. 2. Refrigerate butter mix before using. 3. For your steak, in a bowl add ingredients except the steak and mix until well combined. 4. Add the steak and coat with the marinade generously. 5. Cover the bowl, and place in the fridge for 3 hours, flipping the steak often. 6. Set your grill to medium heat and lightly grease the grate. 7. Remove your steak from the bowl and shake off the excess marinade. 8. Place your steak on the grill and cook for 30 minutes, flipping steak half way through cook time. 9. Remove your steak from the grill and place it on a cutting board. 10. Cover your steak with a piece of foil for 5 minutes. 11. With a sharp knife remove the meat from the bone. 12. Slice the steak meat into 1/3-inch thick slices. 13. Enjoy your steak slices with a topping of Parmesan butter!

Grilled Mushrooms

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: 6 large portabella mushrooms, stems removed 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 teaspoon rosemary 1 teaspoon fresh thyme 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 2 garlic cloves, sliced salt and black ground pepper Directions: 1. Set your grill to medium heat setting and lightly grease grill grate.

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 40 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 4 teaspoons of butter 1 head cabbage, sliced into 4 wedges 4 slices turkey bacon Spice Mix: 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated ¼ teaspoon black pepper ½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sea salt Directions: 1. Set your grill to the medium heat setting. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine spices and mix well. 3.
