TheAuthor: Orly Goldwasser was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel. She studied Egyptology and Archaeology at Tel-Aviv University and Egyptology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her Ph. D. thesis was entitled «The Verbal System in Literary Letters of the 19th Dynasty» and was completed in 1987. She has published articles on Late-Egyptian grammar and on the study of registers of language in literary Late Egyptian. In addition, she has published hieratic ostraca and other Egyptian artifacts that were found in Israel. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Egyptology at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
